ember was in the bathroom and let's just say she felt like pure shit. she hasn't really been herself after that fun day hanging with fez and ashtray which was three weeks ago.

and everyone in her life has noticed something is off. she has not been as bright and bubbly as she normally is.

she has been wearing nothing but sweats and crop tops and baggy hoodies cover her hair up. and she has been looking like... the life has been completely sucked out of her.

plus she hasn't been hanging out with anyone. everyone has been checking on her faithfully but she just tells them she is fine.

but the one thing that made all her friends know that something was off.. her grades have been slipping, her teachers even noticed.

something was definitely wrong. but today the whole school felt that her energy was off.

she looked at herself in the mirror, she was sweating uncontrollably. and she looked down into her hoodie pocket at all the clumps of her she pulled out.

not to mention that she has barley been eating or getting any kind of sleep. it felt like she was falling into a manic state.

ember sighed and began to rub her eyes when the bathroom door opened to lexi. she immediately noticed ember.

"ember, hey." lexi said softly

ember sighed, "h-hey lex." she stuttered

lexi immediately noticed her sluggish posture, "you okay?" she asked concerned about her friend. ember immediately nodded.

"yeah girl i'm good!!" she exclaimed cracking a goofy smile but lexi was not buying it.

lexi grabbed her hand, "ember seriously talk to me? what's wrong?? you know i'm here for you no matter wh-" the bell suddenly rang

"nothing is wrong lexi i swear. but i'll text you when we get out okay? i gotta get to class i'll see you." ember talked fasted and began walking towards the door.

"love you." lexi said. "i love you too."

she quickly walked well basically stumbled down the hallway and went to class. she walked in and everyone turned the heads. the teacher quickly spoke, "i expected more from you ember." she said

"i'm sorry." ember said quietly stumbling to her seat. rue and jules looked at her worried.

she sat down. "ember you good?" she heard rue ask and she quickly waved her off nodding.

"i'm good rue rue." she chuckled, rue looked at her like she was crazy and jules was looking at her tears forming in her eyes.

she didn't know what was wrong and was scared. they never have seen ember like this ever. the teacher started talking and ember began to get antsy.

she quickly removed her hoodie, she was having heat flashes like crazy. her breathing began to get rapid and heavy it felt like she couldn't breathe.

"fuck..." she whispered feeling her walls were caving in. she put her hands into her head.

and suddenly her heartbeat dropped and she fell to the ground unconscious. she heard rue and jules yelling and crying but blackness soon took over her.

ember woke up in the hospital. she immediately saw rue, jules, lexi, kat, bb, and maddy. they all were so relieved to see her awake. cassie was getting food in the cafeteria

"hey ember." jules said tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. she was so confused.

"where am i?" she asked in a groggy tone. "you're in the hospital." maddy said

she looked at them confused and noticed a ton of balloons, cards, and stuffed teddy bears on the table behind them. what the hell happened

"wait why?" she asked rubbing her eyes.

"the doctors said that they found fentanyl along with xanax in your body." rue said and this took her by surprise.

her eyes widened, "wait what?"

"he said he found a small amount. and you are going to be alright but if we hadn't got you here you sooner you could have possibly died." jules said with tears falling down her eyes.

ember didn't understand. she was lost. "how is that possible?" she asked. maddy spoke, "that's what are tryna figure out."

"have you been taking drugs ember?" rue asked

she immediately got pissed, "NO!!" she yelled and everyone was taken aback. the fact that her friends would even assume that upset her.

"ember please don't get upset we are just trying to figure out what happened." lexi said and she started to calm down

"have you taken any pills or something lately?" kat asked. ember sat there thinking heavily and then it hit her... the pills that fezco gave her for anxiety.

she got pissed among thinking about him. he assured her they weren't addictive or laced but yet she almost died today not to mention she had drugs in her system and she is going to have to find a way to get them the fuck out of her system before her next fashion show.

tears started falling from her eyes, she felt so hurt and betrayed.
