fez and ember were seating on the light tan sand. both with their legs propped up. the brisk cool wind hitting their faces felt refreshing and good.

meanwhile ashtray was in the water but not too far to where the both of them had to worry.

"you know this is ashtrays first time at the beach." fezco said making ember look over at him.

"really?" she asked, he nodded. they both looked at ashtray. he looked so content and happy. as if some type of weight was lifted off his shoulders.

it was adorable seeing him smile cause that is something that is so rare to see. "he looks so happy." ember called out and fez agreed.

"yeah he definitely is." fez said seeing his little brother laying in the ocean so peacefully

ember said, "he seems like a good kid."

fezco cracked a smile, "he is. just got thrown into this lifestyle like his big brother you know?"

she nodded. did ember come from the drug selling lifestyle? no, but she knows how it is in the world and how some kids are brought into that lifestyle with no choice.

they were raised with that type of life and that is their way to survive and she knew that's how it was with fezco and ashtray.

but she knew they were good people with pure hearts at the end of the day. she always prays especially for her loved ones, and fez and ashtray are two of those people but she prays extra harder for them.

she knew with their type of upbringing and lifestyle anything could happen. she prayed that nobody would take them or their grandmother out and prayed they wouldn't end up behind bars.

some days after school she would come over and help them out with their grandmother and she would stay over when they were at their store or handling business.

both boys were very much grateful for ember and loved her like a sister. she was their family and they would take a bullet for her and it was vice versa.

"sometimes i wonder why a girl like you is so close to me." fez announced making her raise an eyebrow

she chuckled, "a girl like me?" fezco quickly nodded, "you come from a rich family, you making ya own money... legally. and then you got your modeling career popping off i wouldn't expect you to fuck with me."

"fez you nor ashtray chose this life and ya'll are good people. i love ya'll like ya'll are my family." ember said making fez nod

"same over here sis, we love you real shit. i appreciate you for bringing us out here. we needed this."

fez house recently got raided and it was a fucking mess but luckily they didn't arrested or caught with narcotics. as soon as ember found out she went and checked on them.

fez and ashtray were pissed off because essentially they lost a shit ton of money and knew their new dealer laurie wasn't going to be pleased.

so ember plan this weekend out and decided to take them out to the beach.

"do you have a clue on who called the raid on your house? it seems like it just came out of no where." ember pointed out

"oh yeah i got a clue." fez said and his jaw immediately clenched. ember sighed.

"fez don't do anything stupid alright?"

he nodded, "i won't little sis." he assured
