"AHA I BEAT YOU!!" gia yelled getting all in ember's face. she broke out into a happy dance

ember rolled her eyes, "whatever." she playfully pushed gia then got her into a playful headlock

"you beat me but i can still mess your hair up." ember said and gia put her hands up in defense, "okay okay i'm done bluffing, i surrender!!" she screamed making them both laugh

she let her go and they both left the bowling alley and headed to get something to eat at the local diner in town.

both of them were scanning the menu. "what would you recommend?" ember asked

"definitely the fluffy pancakes they are delicious me and rue used to get them all the time." gia said

ember nodded, "then that is what i shall go with." gia smiled

speaking of rue she was at a meeting. she was gonna catch up with the girls later on. they were having a great day.

first they went to the mall and bought some cute clothes along with new makeup products. they then rode around town and talked and listened to music then went bowling. now here they are.

gia was happy to be spending time with ember. she felt like a long lost sister. she made her happy and brought life into her life.

of course gia loved rue to death but rue has never been the easiest to get along with.

but their bond will forever be unbreakable even while she is recovering. same goes for ember.

"how are things with you and roy?" ember asked, making gia immediately blush

she began to tease her, "you really like this boy don't you?" ember said playfully hitting gia's hand and gia quickly hid her face into her hands

"stop it!!!" she chuckled then calmed down, "we are good though honestly. we are going to have a movie night saturday night." gia said

ember gasped, "that's great gia."

she then got serious, "just don't move at a fast pace okay?" gia looked at her with a blank stare

ember grabbed her hand, "you are young and maturing in a beautiful young lady i don't want to see you move too fast. be a kid, have fun but never move quickly, you get what i am saying?"

gia understood everything she was saying and shook her head. "yeah i do." she smiled

it was silent for a moment. a waiter came over and took their orders. gia sat there thinking about how happy she was to have someone like ember in her life.

she never really has had any good influences in her life. she was taught to make mistakes and keep repeatedly making them but being around ember makes her want to do better for herself and not go down the same paths as her sister.

"i'm grateful for you ember." gia said making ember look up. her eyes shimmered upon her saying that.

she went over and pulled gia into a tight hug, "i'm grateful for you too pretty girl." ember whispered

a tear rolled down gia's face. she was so happy to have ember in her life and prayed she would be in her life for an eternity.

this is short i'm sorry i will do better but double post cause i am super grateful for everyone who reads this book ily <3
