"do you actually think this would be like a cool play?" lexi asked

ember quickly nodded, "totally. i like it."

lexi smiled, "thanks." she said before beginning to sketch out her drawings for her play.

lexi and ember both met in the middle of the first week of school in theatre. they both bonded over talking about the movie niagara.

they both quickly realized they had a lot in common, one of those things being they both grew up watching marilyn monroe and loving her.

but seriously they related to each other a lot. ember noticed quickly that lexi was a very nice and good person and the type of person she would want to be friends with.

she also noticed that lexi wasn't very confident in herself and she hated that.

lexi was a very cool person and so pretty with such a creative mind. ember knew she was going to go far in life. she could tell poor lexi never put herself first.

every time she hangs with her she noticed that she was always stressed out about her sister cassie. everytime. which was sad because yeah that is her sister and she knew she loved her, but also lexi needed to love and put her self first.

for example, she just is finally focusing on finishing her play after cassie came in the room having a melt down about her outfit.

this would be okay but lexi told ember she does this shit like back to back every single day. and it gets annoying and tiring for lexi.

lexi isn't jealous of her cassie, absolutely far from it. but it is the fact that cassie knows she is a beautiful girl and just wants hardcore validation and wants to hear that she is pretty everyday.

and let's be honest that would get annoying as fuck for anyone. seeking validation 24/7 was something that ember didn't grow up with nor want.

she knew she was beautiful and didn't need anyone to tell.

ember didn't have any issues with cassie. based on the few conversations she had with her she thought cassie was super sweet. and cassie thought ember was nice.

"i seriously wish cassie would just like realize how worth and how beautiful she is." lexi announced making ember look away from her book and over at her.

ember had heard a lot of negative things about cassie. from her perspective and what everyone said she was known as one of the biggest hoes in town.

constantly sent nudes, sex tapes leaked one after one. she was known as one of the very easiest girls to fuck in town.

which was hard for ember to believe at first but then again after a few of those talks with cassie she could tell why people would take advantage of her. she was so sensitive and vulnerable.

ember hoped the same as lexi that cassie would realize her worth fast. because if she didn't she is about to go down a horrible path.

"can i ask you something?" ember said making lexi look at her. "yeah what's up?"

she knew lexi wouldn't get offended or upset, "why do you always worry about cassie but not yourself?"

lexi looked down staying silent. "i do worry about myself." she chuckled.

ember shook her head, "no lexi you don't."

it was silent for a moment but ember continued, "you always worry about her. you stress about her so much that you don't even have time to do things for yourself."

lexi stayed silent because she knew everything that ember was saying was completely true. fez had said something like that to her the other day. she now realized that the both of them were right.

"i understand that is your sister. i have two siblings and i love them to death. but you can't stress or put yourself last trying to worry about them. it's their life and they are going to do whatever they want."

ember just looked at lexi as she stayed silent the whole time. "you have a lot of potential lexi, don't waste it worrying about other people."

lexi sighed and closed her eyes in defeat, "you're right. everything you said is true."

"i just.. i just want everyone around me to be happy you know?" she said

ember nodded, "i understand that but it's not your job to make everyone happy. you can spread love and pray for them but that is the best you can do."

lexi looked down embarrassed after hearing what ember just stated. "ember what if i don't believe in God?"

ember shrugged, "that's fine just spread love and move on and focus on yourself." 

lexi nodded. "i think the play will be the first step of you focusing on yourself hands down."

lexi looked at her and smiled. while they both were bonding cassie was in the bathroom... texting nate.

she was blowing his phone up. going crazy over the fact that he was checking out ember.

she felt insecure. she felt like she wasn't enough for him. she quietly opened the door to a crack only to where she could see ember. she studied her every move.

her makeup, her posture, her style.

cassie had tears running down her eyes. nate wasn't answering on top of that which made it worst. she felt like her whole world was sinking, that she was about to lose nate to the new girl.

cassie:
why aren't you texting me back?
do you still even like me?
is ember better than me?
why do you like her so much?

meanwhile nate was looking through ember's instagram.

again boring i know but it will evolve and get better, thank you to everyone who is reading i appreciate you all <3
