"i hate the way everyone is looking at me." ember said nervously shutting her locker.

jules rolled her eyes, "their looking at you because you are new and this outfit is amazing!!" jules exclaimed

"i can assure you they are probably only saying positive things about you." rue said

all morning long everyone had been gossiping about ember and looking at her. she hated it.

but little did she know, like jules said they were talking about how cool her outfit was and how gorgeous she was.

maddy looked over at her, "who is that?" she asked curiously. her outfit had also caught her attention which was very hard to do when it came down to maddy

"some new girl." bb said while smacking her gum loudly and popping a huge bubble

"yeah she is super nice." kat announced making everyone look over at her.

maddy raised an eyebrow, "you met her?" kat nodded, "yeah at the party saturday."

"i think she's a model or something." cassie said paying careful attention to her.

"yeah she is." kat said. "i knew i saw her in some popular ads around town." bb said

maddy stood there and kept looking at her up and down. ember quickly noticed and glanced over at her.

"great she probably hates me." ember said

jules looked over, "who maddy? no way."

ember nodded her head, "yes!!!"

jules grabbed her hand, "no now c'mon let's get to class." they both started walking off and so did rue.

they all walked past maddy and her group. "hey kat." she said and kat smiled, "hey girl cute outfit."

she flashed a smile, "thank you!!"

the bell rang. and everyone headed to class. jules, rue, and ember went to history class. they all walked in and everyone glanced at them specifically ember.

nate looked at her as well. he immediately noticed the new girl and jules holding each other hands.

he thought she was absolutely beautiful.

she sat in front of him, not even noticing. jules sat beside her and so did rue on the other side. jules looked back seeing him stare at her.

her heart started beating really fast. she hoped and prayed that he would stay the hell away from her.

ember wasn't paying attention to anything at the moment. she grabbed her notebook and pin ready for class to start.

their teacher walked in, "welcome back students, i see we have some new faces and i want them to introduce themselves."

"fuck." one student mumble. the teacher opened up this neon binder and scanned through the new students names.

"let's start with... ember?" she said looking up.

everyone turned their heads already knowing who she was. she stayed silent. "c'mon up sweetheart." the teacher said

she got up and walked up to the front. rue looked around seeing that nate looked somewhat intrigued by her?

his eyes were glued onto her which disgusted rue. not because of her but because of what type of person nate was. she hoped he would stay the fuck away from her.

"okay ember tell us a few things about yourself and what you did this summer." the teacher said.

ember stood there nervously not knowing exactly what to say. she hated all the eyes glued onto her, it all felt so awkward. she didn't want to say too much about herself

"um i moved here from washington, d.c. and this summer consisted of me traveling a lot for my job." she said

the teacher asked, "and what is your job?" curiously. she answered, "i'm a model." she said

"i knew i noticed you from somewhere." this girl said with a smile which made ember smile.

"you are signed img models right?" another girl asked and ember nodded. "cool."

"can i have a seat?" ember asked feeling all the attention on her. the teacher smiled and gestured for her to go ahead.

she quickly went and sat down but ended up dropping her notebook. she was about to reach over to pick it up but nate picked it up for her handing it to her.

the two made quick eye contact, and he flashed a cute smile, "thank you." he said, "no problem." and she quickly turned back around.

rue and jules both looked at him with anger. they didn't know what he was thinking but they knew his sneaky ass already had a plan in form for their beautiful new friend.

it was finally lunch time. nate was sitting with his jock friends and they all were discussing ember meanwhile he stayed quiet just looking at her.

"dude she is so hot." one of them said as they turned over to look at her sitting with rue and jules

"i can't believe she is hanging with the addict of our school." one said

the whole school was confused by that. a rich beautiful model hanging out with the stone cold junkie was the last thing any of them ever expected.

but ember didn't care. she thought rue was a chill person but she did hope she would get better soon because she couldn't stand to be friends with someone who would possibly die soon if they keep doing drugs

she has been through enough and take it if that were to happen.

"i'm telling you guys i'm over him." maddy said

everyone looked at each other and scoffed or laugh, "yeah right." kat said

"you guys will be fucking by tonight for sure." bb said and they all agreed meanwhile maddy rolled her eyes.

maddy flipped them all off.

"maddy c'mon we all know he is gonna ask you out on a date after school."

she shook it off, but had a feeling he probably was since that is what he always does.

the end of the day came and maddy and her crew were all walking past nate and he was not even paying attention to maddy which surprised her and her friends.

she noticed that he was paying attention to ember as her rue and jules were laughing and getting into her 1989 rolls royce spirit convertible.

he wouldn't take her eyes off her at all.

her friends were worried since she had this evil look in her eye. "damn." bb said

maddy rolled her eyes. "c'mon let's go."
