<Backstory>

This wasn't meant to happen. This really wasn't. Clem used to be five beings connected by one soul. These beings were User, Chara, Mentality, Rachel, and Kaci. The fusion was... a mistake... On Rachels behalf...

The three demons and angel were in User's head, the girl fighting against an Insanity that was out for blood. It was the beginning of Betrayaltale, Insanity was killing everyone. User wouldn't let them all die, but... She was weak. She couldn't fight Insanity. She had him pinned, and got very closer to killing him but... something stopped her. Perhaps it was Rachel? It is unknown... Insanity took advantage and pinned her as she did to him, a knife to her neck. She didn't have a lot of time before she was dead...

The girls panicked. They wouldn't be able to stop Insanity. There was no way. That was when Rachel suggested it. 'What if we all fuse into one being? Then our powers would join as one and.. we could stop him...' SImple words, yet ones that change their life forever. They agreed quickly, and Kaci summoned a book. She grinned chaotically, not letting anyone see the book as she did the spell, dark magic flooding the mind.

They quickly overpowered Insanity and killed him, destroying the reset so he couldn't return, not knowing they were too late and he had already escaped. He escaped the au. Everyone else... They weren't so lucky. They didn't stop until everyone was dead. Apart from a selected few the Rachel in them forced to keep alive. Sans, Ryker, Maniac, Virus, Fell. These people soon escaped for their lives. They chose a name. Clementine. Once a name of happiness turned to one of hatred because of them.

The fusion was... scared... confused... unsure of who they were anymore... Kaci... the book she used... It was an evil one. An evil spirit was released from the book, corrupting the fusion. Making them something they didn't want to be. She wanted to be fixed. She wanted to be normal but... She couldn't control herself... And she'd have to live the rest of her life, know that she was really as big a monster as Insanity... the one being she was never able to stop... And possibly one of the only ones that can bring her back to normal... Or at least, to a middle ground...
