Chapter 8

Hiya everyone! Here we are again!

Again want to thank you. You didn't have to do this. She is also helping me out with this story. There is another drawing she done but will be show later on in the future.

Kurama speaking/thoughts

"I think I overdid it with my Sharingon." Kakashi said groggily laying down in the futon.

Error said nothing as he, Sasuke and Sakura looked at their sensei. Well Error mind was elsewhere thinking about what happen a few hours ago until they arrived at Tsunami, Tazune daughter, house.

Error almost stabbed Zabuza neck till he gave him enough time to jump out the way. Zabuza and Kakashi fought again until Haku jumped in dressed in his hunter nin outfit and 'killed' Zabuza. They left. Kakashi passed out and had to carry him all the way to Tazune home.

Here they are now the next day.

"Why didn't he destroy the body there."

"What Naruto?" Sakura asked as she and Sasuke look at him.

Naruto shrugged. "He was a hunter nin right."

"Duh."

"Sarcasm noted. But why would a hunter nin take a dead body away. Don't they immediately need to destroy the body in the spot." Naruto shrugged.

"You actually paid attention in class?" Sasuke stared at him in surprised.

"When I wanted too."

"Well maybe Zabuza was a special case to be brought back." Sakura suggested.

"Be kind of stupid especially how far away the mist village is. That's like us trying to bring Zabuza dead body back."

"And with Zabuza record and able to go against Kakashi even with the Sharingon not a laughing matter." Sasuke rubbed his chin.

"It's cute how you three are talking this over." Kakashi chuckles weakly. Stop as all three of them glared at him across from the 'cute' comment.

"What are you all yammering about?" Tazuna walked in the room.

"Zabuza is still alive." Kakashi looked at him.

"What?!"

"Kakashi are you sure? What the Hunter nin did was suspicious. But you checked his heartbeat and you said he was dead?" Sakura looked at him with a stunned look.

"That was just temporary state of death. If you all remember the Hunter nin used senbon needles. They aren't meant for killing. If used correctly, you can make someone be in a comatose state close to dying." Kakashi explained to his students, Tazuna and Tsunami.

"So, he could possibly be alive." Tsunami asked with a concern look.

"Yes, but I do believe that Hunter nin could be working with Zaubuza." Kakashi declared and looked at the three. "We need to prepare quickly for they will return to finished the job."

"But Sensei you're still recovering." Sakura looked at him.

Kakashi chuckles surprising his two students except Naruto. "I can still train you."

"Wait a minutes! A last minute training not going to make us strong enough to fight Zabuza!" Sakura looked at him like he was insane.

"True. But you three did catch Zabuza off guard from working together. Especially you Naruto." Kakashi looked at him.

Naruto shrugged a bit. "Don't need a dead cyclops."

Kakashi head down in defeat.

"Baka!" Sakura growled and ready to punched him the first time in like two months. She was stunned when he caught her wrist. She winces how he tighten it slightly.

"Try to punch me like before and it won't be pretty. Im not a punching bag. Don't punched me unless I need to be knock out like a hypnosis justu." Naruto eyes turned very cold and let her go.

Sakura whole body freeze up from such look. He never gave her such a look. Heck not even to Sasuke. Finally, got her wrist back and rubbed I slightly.

Sasuke looked away to keep his head down slightly. He wasn't going to admit but he was kind a glad to not received that glare. Who knew the dobe can pull off such a look.

"Things will be good-"

"I don't believe it and nothing gonna be good!" A young voice spoke out.

They turn to see a small kid with dark hair and white hat.

Inari. Error looked at the kid and wince at the headache of memories. Okay he notices that happens a lot when he is reunited with people Naruto met. Getting all those memories when he touched Kurama was one thing. But this was a slight pain in the neck. But helps out in some cases. Glance as he watches the kid hugged his grandfather Tazuna and introducing everyone. Error somewhat pay attention but was looking at the kid eyes. Even after Inari declared they were going to die and heroes don't exist.

Hard but still has ways to go before he can hide those emotions. A scared child at the end.

Those eyes looked at him and glared a bit till he ran out the room.

"Im so sorry about him." Tsunami looked at them all in an apologetic look.

"Who the kid lost?" Naruto looked at her and tilt his head. He knew the story but thought it was best everyone learned a bit earlier.

"It happen three years ago. Gato killed Kaiza. He was my husband but Inari step farther. He saved Inari who almost drown when a few bullies pushed him when he tried to save a dog. Then a fisherman came in to rescue him.  He was Inari role model and made sure he was always protected. They did everything together. We were all happy. But then Gato arrived and took over everything. Kaiza wouldn't back down and stood up against him. Gato had him killed in from of everyone." Tsunami explained and wipe her tears. "Ever since then Inari hasn't smile."

Sakura was tearing up. Sasuke head down silently. Kakashi had his eyes closed. Naruto looked out from the window.

A hour later.

Team 7 outside in a field with lots of tree.

"Before we start lets have a review about Chakra. Sakura why don't you explain."

"Alright sensei. Chakra is energy that a Ninja needs when he uses a Jutsu! It's made up of two energies:1) Physical energy gathered together from each and every cell in the body. 2) Spiritual energy accumulated based on numerous trainings and experiences! In other words, Jutsu wrings out and combines these two energies from within the body, and this is called "combining the Chakra." Then Chakra is activated by forming hand "signs."

"Alright Sakura thank you for explaining. Iruka sensei taught you all well." Kakashi said and was using two crutches to keep himself up. "Now what we're going to learn is how to control chakra with your body. If you can't balance out your chakra then your jutsu is worthless. How exactly were going to get it fix? By tree climbing."

"Tree climbling?"

"Correct. But without your hands." Kakashi walked to a tree and began to climb it by just using his feet. "Focus the Chakra on the bottoms of your feet and make them stick to the tree trunk. If you use Chakra well, you can do things like this. But a piece of advice. Too much chakra and the bark will break. If you use little bit of chakra you will slip. Now use your Kunai to mark the progress of the tree."

They begin.

Sakura was doing pretty well since she does have good chakra control. Able to get 30 feet of the ground.

Sasuke was having trouble. The first time he went off 10 feet the bark exploded. He was determined even if it meant falling down so many times.

Naruto was surprise for them all. He was still walking up the tree!

Kakashi was stunned. Sakura gapped. Sasuke was fuming.

How?!

"Cotton Candy are you done?" Naruto asked when he stopped at a branch.

"Um yeah?" Sakura stunned.

"You should keep doing it. It'll get harder later on."

"Excuse me!"

"Just a suggestion jeez. Im still going." Naruto walked back up.

Sakura fumed a bit. Then wince as she heard Sasuke fell again and could hear him muttering curses. She glances at Kakashi.

"He right. You go have good chakra control. But how long can you do it is a good question." Kakashi walked off.

Sakura was silent for a bit.

"Hey Cotton Candy I bet I can beat you all the way from the top!" Naruto was soon back at the bottom. Barely looked at Sasuke direction as he fell again.

"This isn't race baka!"

"I would have asked Sasuke but he seem to have a bit of difficulty."

"Dammit!"

Sakura wince as Sasuke fell again.

"Unless you want to lose from the dead last-"

"BRING IT ON BLONDI!"

Few hours later and was dawn.

Sakura panting as she was laying out on the ground.

"I beat you that time." Sakura panted and felt very sore.

"Sure you did Cotton Candy." Naruto sitting cross legged and staring at her. Error slightly pleased how it went.

THUMP

They both turned their heads to see Sasuke still going.

"I can't believe im saying this. We should help him."

"Who are you and what you do to the baka ?"

"That's my secret."

Sakura rolled her eyes at him. How can he one minute be like this. But few hours ago reacted like that when he grabbed her wrist. Sure she doesn't know him that well but thought enough with the basic things. Till he showed his real appearance and changed everything.

He still a baka but guess not a bad baka. He did surprise them after all. But she will not admit it!

"Come on out of us two he might listen to you."

Sasuke panted and ready to hit the ground. Why can't he do it?! He supposed to be the best! But the Dobe can do it and went at it for hours.

"Oi Chicken butt you need help."

"I don't need hel-"

"Get that stick out of your stubborn butt. You need it. You barely making it past 25. So, listen to Sakura."

Sasuke eyes narrowed at him. "Not going to give me tips dobe?"

"Im more on hand learning and how I had to teach myself is different. I never was showed how to properly work it." Naruto stared at him dully. "So, let Sakura help you out."

He stared a long time. "Seriously where the real dobe."

"Im about to pound your face to the ground."

"Baka!"

"Hn."

Kakashi was about to go get his students how dark it was getting. Along with dinner about to be served. The moment he stood up the door open up.

Sakura and Naruto holding up Sasuke. All of them were dirty and a messed. But yet a strange accomplishment of sorts.

"It went well?" Kakashi asked them.

"Yes, Sensei." Sakura panted and helping Sasuke up with Naruto. Would have been in fan girl mode holding him like this. But was happy in a different way. Sasuke actually took her advice, well after Naruto had to talk him down, and did it.

Sasuke panted and was sore. But was very pleased. He finally was able to do it after Sakura helped out. Now he just need to catch up to Naruto the next day.

Naruto just glad it was over. But also strangely felt please. He couldn't understand why.

"Good." Kakashi was very pleased with the situation.

They all soon sat down besides Naruto. He turned back around.

"Naruto where you going?" Sakura asked in confusion.

"Not hungry. Going back out to train."

"You should eat-"

"Im fine. My bag still out there and have a apple." Wave off and was out the door.

"Hn." Sasuke wanted to continue to but his body wanted food and to rest. How can Naruto still keep going?

'Alright bones what should we do?'

'Update duh till Haku arrives in the morning.'

'Fine smart ass.'

What you all think?

I do want to give a heads up on something. Now I have probably brought this up. This story is humor but there will be serious moments. Sasuke, Sakura and a few others will be redeemed in a way. It'll just take time or a hit of reality later on. I may not the biggest fan with them but later on I have grown to either like them or tolerate them. Just one step at a time.

I don't think I have anything else to bring up unless anyone has a question.
