Chapter 5

Here we are again!

Let's see what shall be happening in this next chapter of fun!

Warning for OOC, bashing, and idiots ahead.

"Naruto? What are you doing here?"

"Yeah this is for graduation students only. Not drop outs."

Naruto sent a bored look and move his scarf down for everyone to see his headband. "I did pass I just didn't have to come after class."

Everyone shocked as they stared at Naruto. Till they went back to business.

Naruto spots Hinata and Shino. He was actually surprised they were wearing his gifts.

Hinata wearing the scarf, that hid her headband too, with the rest being tucked underneath her hoodie. It was scarf like before but he touched it up. He add a white and lavender stitching of a lotus. With Shino if you looked closely underneath the high collar shirt you see a green bandana with his clan symbol stitched in.

The two love the gifts very much and the material amazed them. As they left nothing like it before.
He goes to sit in the middle with the two and they greeted each other. Small talk for a while.

"What was that Hinata?" Naruto looked at her.

"I-I hope us three c-can be on the same team." Hinata said again and smile a bit. Her lack of stuttering actually gotten a bit better lately when she around the two. Others it just depends. But her father have been noticing how she barely look at ground when he talks to her. But at himself.

"Same." Shino spoke up next. He prefer being with these two then anyone else in this class.

Error nods in agreement but mentally bashing his head to the ground. Why couldn't it been these two? He twitch as he hear the Sasuke fan club arguing who gets to sit by Sasuke. "End me."

"Suffer with us." Shino only response. HInata gives Naruto a small smile and pat his shoulder.

CRASH!

They glance and see all the girls fighting on the ground. The pink hair and pale blonde going at longer unlike the others. It scared many of the boys around. Sasuke just ignoring them. Shino shakes his head. Hinata frown. Error not at all impressed.

He seen scarier cat fights like lions, tigers and panthers going at it.

This was just little kittens still learning.

Iruka Sensei enters the room and twitch seeing what was happening. "Everyone sit down now or you can start all over again in the academy!"

All them quickly get up to get to their seats.

Sakura grinned big getting to sit by Sasuke. Stick her tongue out an Ino.

Sasuke took mental deep breathes and ignore her.

"Alright everyone. As of today, you'll all have become full-fledged Ninjas. However, you are all still Genin. First, level ninjas and like all first level you all will be grouped up in a squad of three. Each squad will be led by its own Jonins."

All the students were shocked and whispered around who will be with who. All the girls, besides Hinata, look at Sasuke dreamily.

'He mine Ino-Pig! So, don't think about it!' Sakura glared at Ino behind her.

'A group just going to slow me down on my ambition.' Sasuke not that pleased but stayed clam on the outside.

'Furball didn't they already notice? Even the clan kids should know this?' Error asked as he just stared at Iruka announcing each team.

'I really didn't pay attention of all this when the kit was in school.'

'You were napping.'

'I wasn't just napping and oh look your team about to be called up.'

'Yay.'

"Squad 7 Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno-"

Sakura groaned. Great she was with the annoying dead last! Now he going to annoy her by asking her out! Then again the last 3 weeks he really hasn't. Ha! Maybe the idiot finally realize they don't have a chance! Even with the clothes upgrade and appearance it didn't matter to her! He still annoying.

Error ready to slam his head on the table.

"and Sasuke Uchiha."

"YES, IN YOUR FACE INO PIG!"

"Hn."

Error slam his head on the table again. Startling everyone how loud the sound was.

He knew this was going to happen but was still hoping!

"Um next is Team 8 Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame."

Hinata and Shino glance at each other and then looked down at Naruto who head still on the table. They can see cracks forming around the wood.

"Now Team 10 Ino Yamanaka, Shikimaru Nara, and Choji Akimichi. Alright those are all the-Yes, Shino?" Surprised to see the quietest student have his hand up.

"Can we switch Kiba with Naruto instead?" Shino asked

Everyone was stunned at what they are just hearing.

"What?! You rather dead last than us!" Kiba yelled at bug boy while his little puppy Akamaru bark.

"If I had to pick just one of you it's your dog. But sadly you two a package deal." Shino stared down at Kiba.

"Shino denied-"

"Bu-But us three alr-already get along." Hinata spoke out next. Now it was really shocking everyone.

"Indeed. We even began to wear familiar cloth items." Shino lifted his collar to show his bandana, Hinata lifted her scarf a bit and lifted Naruto scarf as he look quite stunned.

"No, that's not how it works-"Iruka cut off.

"Wait! If we're going to switch teams then let Naruto switch with me instead!" Ino shouted.

"Oh heck no! Sasuke mine!" Sakura yelled at Ino.

"No, he mine!"

"Say to my face bug boy!"

"Naruto is staying with us."

"No, trade with us!"

"Oh troublesome."

"ENOUGH! NO, TEAM ARE SWITCHING! THAT IS FINAL! NOW ALL OF YOU GO SIT WITH YOUR TEAMMATES!"

Well they tried.

One lunch break and hour passed later

"Where is he? He is so late!" Sakura groans at her seat.

Team 7 were the last ones in the classroom and waiting for their Jonnin. Sakura took that time to sit with Sasuke and talk with him. He just ignored her. Naruto stayed far away from them and been writing in his notebook.

It did surprise the two, which it shouldn't, how quite he been lately. Not so loud, annoying, or being stupid. But they weren't going to say anything. He is still dobe and dead last.

'No, prank?'

'I can always get him back a different ways.' Error continued writing. He could just go up on the roof but wanted to be a bit lazy.

The door slide open and they all look up to see a silver hair masked man with his leaf headband covering his left eye. Was in a standard Jonin outfit. He look at the three. "My first impression of you three...Your boring."

Sasuke and Sakura twitch.
Naruto not looking up from his notebook. "Fine by me."

Kakashi blink a bit surprised. Wasn't he supposed to be loud and annoying? He just look so bored and uninterested.

"Baka stop whatever you're doing and don't be rude!" Sakura yelled at him.

"He was rude first being late."

"Anyways. Meet me up on the roof." Kakashi soon walks off.

The three soon followed.

Now they were outside on the roof sitting across their Jonin.

"Now, first let's introduce ourselves one at a time." Kakashi looked at the three.

"Well what do you want us to say?" Sakura asked him with a confused look.

"Hmm well your likes, dislikes, hobbies and dreams of the future. Stuff like that."

"Why don't you introduce yourself first sensei."

"Hmm alright. I'm Kakashi Hatake. Things I like and things I dislike. Hmm I do have those. My dream for the future I really haven't thought about it. I have lots of hobbies." Kakashi looked at the three.

He just told us his name. Sakura and Sasuke twitch.

I wonder if I can combined my version of the rasegane with the end of my strings with the right amount chakra. Would it technical be whip or like those chain spike balls? Error deep in thought not paying attention till Kakashi spoke again.

"Alright Pinkie you first."

Sakura twitch at the nickname. "I'm Sakura Haruno. I like, um, well the um person I like-"she glance at Sasuke and blushed a bit. "My hobbies are-"look at him again and giggles. "My dreams for the future well-," she giggles, held back a squeal and blushing as she tried to hide her face.

"And your dislikes?" Kakashi mentally sighs. Of course he gets the fangirl just interested in love.

"Ino-Pig and Naruto!" Sakura glared at Naruto.

"I'm indifferent Cotton Candy." Naruto not even looking at her and not phased.

Sakura gapped at him. She really wasn't expecting that. Well fine! Good! But Cotton Candy!

"Your, next broody." Kakashi a bit taken back too but pushed it away.

Sasuke glared at Kakashi till he spoke, "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I hate lots of thing. I don't like anything. What I have is not a dream, because I will make it a reality. I'm going to restore my clan and destroy a certain someone."

So, cool! Sakura squealed inside her head.

Great just what I thought. Kakashi thought and stared at the boy.

Nah. We can always make a bomb version. Error thought.

"Alright blondie your next." Kakashi looked at the last one.

Naruto looked at them. "Naruto Uzumaki. Likes not your business besides certain people and stuff. Dislikes you can figure out on your own. Hobbies what I do when I have a free time. My dream I rather not say."

That was unexpected. Kakashi stared at the blond in surprised.

Sasuke didn't really care but slightly curious. He wasn't expecting that either.

"What the heck Naruto don't lie! You like ramen, pranks and you stupid dream to be Hokage!" Sakura yelled across at him.

"Why you trying to act cool dobe?" Sasuke looked at the blond.

"Why do you two really care? People change and ninjas lie. "Naruto stared at them dully. "Plus, my interest not yours and cyclops business unless I want it to be."

Ouch.

Kakashi takes a mental breathe. He really got himself a group that's for sure. "Okay everyone lets calm down."

The three just stared at him.

"Now, we have our first mission tomorrow." Kakashi stared at them. Sakura wide eye, Sasuke look at him, and Naruto just staring at the sky. He twitch a bit at the blond but pushed it down. "It's a task the FOUR of us will do together."

"What?"

"Hn?"

"Yippee."

"A survival exercise."

"But sensei we already did this stuff at the academy? Shouldn't we start doing real missions?" Sakura looked at him in confusion.

"This is not like your previous exercise in the academy." He lean back against the railing. "Of the twenty-seven graduates who have came to the academy. Only nine will be recognized as ninjas. The other eighteen will be sent back to the Academy. In other words, the exercise will be extremely difficult. It's a passed or fail test. The chance at failing is 66%."

Sakura gapped at him while inner Sakura screamed.

Sasuke hands clenched up tightly.

Did I water the carrots? Error only thought.

"Then what the heck was that graduation test for then!" Sakura yelled at him.

"Hmm that was just to select candidates who might be able to be genin. Or not." Kakashi shrugged and look at them. "Well, that's just the way it is. I decided if you pass or fail. Be at the designated spot at 5 A.M. tomorrow and bring your ninja tools."

If I fail this test I'll be separated from Sasuke! This is a trail of love! Baka you better not fail us! Sakura looked at the blond who didn't seem worried at all! Either he doesn't care or one good actor.

I'm not going back to the academy after coming this far. Sasuke didn't show any emotion and clenched his hands together.

"Can we go now?"

Kakashi sweat dropped looking at the blond. He beginning to think those papers are a lie. "Yes, you're all dismissed. Oh fair warning I would skipped breakfast unless you want to throw up."

"Great. Bye." Naruto stands up to leave.

'Pile of bones you could of shown a little interest?'

'Nope.' Error mentally smirked hearing Kurama snorted.

'You already have a plan to get the bells.'

'Mhmm but I'm going to try and see they want to do teamwork. If not well I tried.'

'How very thoughtful of you.'

'Yeah, yeah.'

Error stop at the Ichiraku Ramen shop first. He ordered what Naruto would get and takes small bites at a time. He still doesn't understand why these people treated Naruto so well. He wanted to believe they just see him as just an innocent child. He shook his head and kept eating the food. No, time to think but finished up. Oh! He'll need to remember to bring those deserts for them!

Once, he finished up he pays for his meal. Unaware of the startled concern look of the owner and daughter eye.

He made it back to the apartment water his small garden and flower pot he named Liliana he places a timer down,

'Alright furball lets see about working on the rasengan and strings.'

'I almost pity the fool who will go against you.' Especially if he updates it.

They get to work.

It was soon the next day.

Error arrived early and just meditated by a tree. It was going to be awhile so might as well do this. Some point Sakura and Sasuke arrived. He just ignored them.

Till an hour passed.

He throws two carrots at them.

"For peak sake eat. If the guy was late yesterday then he will be again."

"Bake-"

"Dobe-"

"Stop being stubborn brats and eat before you really throw up." Close his and not paying attention as they gapped at him.

He just called them brats?!

Sakura ready to hit him but stop as he stomach growls again. Glance and see Sasuke already took a bite into his carrot. She grumble and nibble at it.

It did help out a bit as another two hours passed till Kakashi finally arrived.

"YOU'RE LATE!" Sakura yelled at him

"Well a black cat crossed my path. So, I had to take the long way." Kakashi smile behind his mask.

Two of them twitch while another got up to stretch.

"Well let's get started." Kakashi walk over to a stump and place a clock down. He then tap it. "It is set till noon."

The soon see Kakashi pull out two little bells.

"Your assignment is to take these bells away from me. That's all there is too it. But if you can't get it by noon you will go without lunch. You will be tied to those post over there and you'll watch as I will get to eat my lunch in front of you."

Sakura held her stomach and felt stupid. The carrot did help out a bit but why couldn't it been from Sasuke.

Sasuke glared a little at their teacher. He wanted them to be weak on purpose and have no energy.

Naruto just stared at the bells.

"Wait a minute! There three of us. Why is there only two bells?"

"Well one of you have to be tied to the post. You will be disqualified for failing the mission and will go back to the academy. Then again all three of you could flunk out too. You are allowed to use any weapon."

"But those weapons are to dangerous-"
Naruto pulled out a kunai and throw it fast. Held the other one ready to be thrown.

Kakashi dodges.

Where he go? Sasuke and Sakura thought.

Good. Error smirk a bit as he let Kakashi grab his other wrist. While his other hand got to work in just a few seconds.

"I didn't say start yet." Kakashi looked down at the blond.

"Doesn't matter in the real world." Naruto glance up at the Jonin.

Kakashi stared down at him and let go.

So, fast! Sakura stared in shock.

So, this is the power of a Jonin. Sasuke narrowed his eyes.

Naruto didn't move.

"Hmm I might actually like you three." Close his eye and reopen to look at them. "And...Start."

Sasuke and Sakura leaped away from the clearing.

"Arent you going to move?" Kakashi looked at Naruto who just staring at him.

"Wait for it."

Kakashi stared at them as he began to pull out a book. "You're weird."

"Says the one pulling out that book." Naruto said with a deadpanned expression as he look at the orange book. His mind flickered about Jiraiya.

What is that dobe doing? Sasuke hidden in the trees as he just watches.

"Hey Sasuke-"

Sasuke turned around quickly and eyes widen slightly of another Naruto. How? Clone jutsu? But the dobe suck at it. Then glared at him. "What do you want?"

"Do you want to work together?"

"Why would I waste my time working together with a weaklings like you and Saskura?" Sasuke growled at him.

Naruto flick him at the nose.

Sasuke hissed and held his nose.

"Just asking chicken butt since this is a test."

POOFED.

Naruto disappeared.

So, it was clone but how he suck at those. Sasuke growled and rubbed his nose in irritation.

"Baka get out of there." Sakura whispered as she just watch the pair. Eye twitch seeing an orange book he pulled out. Pervert.

"Sakura-"

"Ahh!" She jumped, almost losing her position, and see Naruto right by her. "Dammit Baka!"

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Look do you want to work together?"

"Are you that stupid? Why would I work with you? You're not smart like Sasuke and I-"

Naruto flick her forehead.

"Ouch!" Sakura covered her forehead.

"Jeez was just asking Cotton Candy. You and Chicken Butt are supposed to be the smart ones to understand about this test."

POOFED

That was a clone? Sakura shocked and kept rubbing her forehead.

"Hmm well a tried." Naruto shrugged.
"Pardon?"

"You'll see later." Formed hand signed and shadow clones surrounded him.

Kakashi glance around. He did learn Naruto learn the jutsu. But what caught him off was he didn't say it. Well he did but was like mouthing it. Or was he whispering? "You didn't say it-"

"Okay seriously? Were Ninjas. Silent. Why the frick would I shout out to my enemies what kind of jutsu I'm about to use to attack them?"

Kakashi open and closed his mouth. Alright he had nothing to say about that- Immediately duck out of the way as three clones jumped and fist hit the spot he was just at.

'You're just going to use shadow clones?'

'Just to mess with him.' Error wasn't going to show all he got. He rather keep a few secrets up his sleeves.

Kakashi will admit he was a bit impressed. He wasn't always randomly hitting or throwing weapons at him. The Shadow clones would throw in a random surprise to almost catch him off guard. Almost got the bell. But time to put an end to this.

Naruto punched him and poofed.

Substitute like before so that means-

"Hidden Leaf Secret Taijutsu: One Thousand-"

Oh heck no!

Kakashi didn't get too finished as Naruto raised his foot up and kick at his face. Able to bring his arms up in time to block. But the force was a bit too strong and was pushed back slamming into a tree.

Okay. Ouch.

Kakashi got up to rub his arms. That was a bit stronger that he thought. Got some hidden strength. See Naruto leaning against the tree and not amused. "Done?"

"Shouldn't you test the others?"

"Hmm fair enough." Pity guess he didn't understand the test. But he'll give him a bit of credit. Yet, won't be enough. He goes to test the other two.

Two hours later and timer went off.

Kakashi sighs as he stared at the three.

Sakura head went down a bit. She was tricked easily by all things a Genjutsu. That was supposed to be her specialty and fainted. Almost fainted again when she saw Sasuke head only showing from the ground.

Sasuke was peeved and finally out of the dirt ground. Glared at Kakashi. He was close. So, close and was able to touch a bell.

Naruto just looked at the sky.

"Times up and none of you grabbed the bells-"

"I have the bells." Naruto showed the bells.

What?! All three of them stared at Naruto in shock.

"Those on your waist are henge substitute."

Kakashi looked at the bells and tapped them to reveal two kunai instead. "When-"

"When I distracted you by throwing the kunia. It was just quick thinking when you got behind me and had to go fast to use my other arm to replace them. If you didn't grab me well who knows." Naruto explained holding the bells in the air.

All of them were so stunned.

"Well then Naruto. Which teammate will you choose to pass with you?"

Naruto throws both bells at them two of them.

"Huh?" Sakura holding the bell.

Sasuke stared at the bell.

"They can passed. I may not be two big on teamwork. But I rather be with a team that will listen." Naruto goes to lean against the log.

"What you mean?" Kakashi curious now.

"I sent to shadow clones at the beginning to ask them if they wanted to work together. Guess what the response was."

Kakashi glance at the other two. They wouldn't look at him. So, either Naruto understood the test or was trying to find a way for all them to help out. "Well then Naruto if you're sure."

Naruto soon tied up against the log and just looking at the sky. While Sasuke and Sakura were quietly eating.

"I'll be back real quick. Do, not feed him." Kakashi soon leaves.

The three were silent for a bit.

"Here." Sasuke grunted and lifted a carrot up.

"I'm not eating that."

"Hn."

"Sasuke what you doing. Will get in trouble." Sakura looked at him in shock. While Inner Sakura crying. Why couldn't he feed her.

"I'm not doing this out a pity. It's for the carrot this morning and bell. Now take the carrot Dobe."

"Yeah, yeah brat." Rolled his eyes. He didn't have to eat it. But he really didn't want to be held back for different reasons. Time to show Kakashi teamwork. Open his mouth.

POOFED

"What are you doing?!" Kakashi demanded.

Sakura screamed.

Sasuke jumped.

Naruto stared at him.

"Were giving him our food."

"Why? After what I said-"

"Baka many things but he tried to work with us!"

"I feel love Cotton Candy."

"Shut it you!"

"Were a team. If I'm going to suffer with Sakura. I can least make sure the Dobe suffer with me."

"Sasuke-Kun!"

"Now you get it. Well almost." Naruto stared at them dully.

"Hn." Sasuke look away and grumble when it took him awhile to figure it out.

"Teamwork was the answer all along." Sakura whispered and look at Kakashi.

"Correct and now Team 7," Kakashi glared down at them and smiled, "You all passed!"

"What?!"

"Hn?"

"Your rope work bad." Naruto got the rope off him. Sees the three stare at him. "What? Iruka had to really knot it up so I wouldn't get out of class."

Kakashi confused but Sasuke and Sakura weren't. Iruka did indeed had to tie up Naruto a lot.

"Anyway. You were the first squad to ever succeed. The others would always do exactly what I said. They couldn't think for themselves. A ninja must see through deception. In the Ninja world those who break the rules are scum. That is true. But those who abandon their friends are worse than scum." Kakashi finished explaining.

Sakura in awed.

Sasuke eyes close and his mouth twitch a bit.

Naruto stayed quite. He had mix feeling about that.

"Squad 7 starts their first mission tomorrow!"
