As Bella walked through the door, Alice snatched Bella's wrist and pulled her aside.

"Edward has something special planned for you two tonight," Alice stated with a smirk.

"Like a date?" Bella questioned. Alice nodded. Bella had never been out on a date before. Matt wasn't romantic at all; they would stay at his place -Bella called it the pit, for it was very messy- and order pizza and make out. It wasn't much but it was still something, right?

Alice interrupted Bella's daydreaming by snapping her fingers impatiently. Bella looked back at Alice. "The rest of us, including our visitors our going out to hunt and practice our fighting technique. that means you two will be alone," she explained. They were going to be alone?

"What about Renesmee?" Bella asked.

"Renesmee will be staying in La Push with the wolves," Alice answered. Bella then realized Alice's intentions with her. Bella groaned. Not again. Alice grinned.

"We only have three hours to get ready! C'mon, let's get started!" Alice sing songed.

"I have a strict "no deals with the Devil" policy." Bella retorted. Alice rolled her eyes and dragged Bella up the stairs, with all her power. Bella shuffled her feet into the huge bathroom and turned her head to look at Alice.

"First, you should shower." Alice said. Bella nodded as Alice closed the bathroom door. Bella stripped down and entered the shower. She turned on the the shower and beads of steaming hot water splashed down. Bella quickly washed herself and her hair.

Bella climbed out of the shower and grabbed the fluffy white towel, wrapping it around her pale body. Alice knocked. Bella got up to get the door but before she knew it, Alice was already inside the bathroom.

Alice's eyes examined Bella's body while Bella sat on the bathroom floor. Alice looked at her watch and gasped. "We only have an hour left!" she exclaimed. Alice rushed towards Bella and slid her on a chair, facing a counter with loads of makeup supplies.

Alice could see Bella in shock. "I'm not putting all that on you, don't worry." Alice said. Bella nodded and Alice began working on her masterpiece.

Alice had put a little bit of mascara on Bella's eyes, making them pop out. Bella took a glimpse at herself and was shocked by what stared back at her. Bella gasped. Her eyes were no longer crimson. Violet pupils were in the red eyes' place.

"What the hell?" Bella remarked. Alice glanced towards Bella as she dug through her make up bag, tidying up the mess she had made. "What's wrong with me?" Bella sputtered. Alice laughed.

"How many animals have you drank in the past few days?" Alice inquired. Bella dazed off trying to remember how many animals she had killed.

"Three or four.." Bella concluded. She tilted her head up at Alice who was running her fingers through Bella's medium ash brown hair.

"Well Bella, when you get changed into a vampire there is still human blood in your body which makes your eyes crimson. Or if you drink human blood." Alice stated.

"When you move to the animal diet, the human blood begin to leave your body. Your eyes then start to go violet. Normally it takes awhile for the eyes to change violet, but since you're a newborn and you were only created days before, it goes faster because you only have killed and drained a few bodies. After a year or two, your eyes will turn golden, like mine!" Alice elaborated.

"Oh," was all that Bella could manage to say. Alice chuckled. "I do have an idea for your hair, but let's get you dressed first so you don't wreck your hair when you do eventually get dressed. It will also give your hair a bit more time to dry," Alice said. Bella gripped the towel tightly and crossed her fingers that Edward wasn't in the hall. Alice opened the door and peeked her head out.

"Edward is in Carlisle's study, which is right across the hall from the closet. I'll distract him, you run. Okay?" Alice commanded.

"Okay," Bella replied. Alice walked, (or maybe she skipped) down the hall and into the study. She could hear Alice struggle to make conversation.

"So Edward."

"Yes, Alice?"

"Have I ever told you that funny story, you know the one where I..."

This was her chance. Bella rocketed down the hall, causing Edward to look out the door. He didn't catch a glimpse of Bella.

'Phew! That was a close one!' Bella thought. Bella closed the closet door behind her and listened.

"Anyways, that's what happened." Alice said proudly.

Edward sighed. "Alice, that wasn't even funny. And you didn't even tell me the story," he said with an annoyed chuckle.

"But you just laughed."

"I laughed because of you suck at distracting. Now, if you excuse me, I have to go help Rose with the... you-know-what." Edward got out of his seat and walked out of the study. Bella could see his feet stop at the closet door.

'Please don't knock, Please don't knock..' Bella inhaled and watched as the shadow of Edward disappear. Alice rushed in and locked the door behind her.

"That was a close one, eh?" Alice said with a giggle.

"Alice, you truly suck at telling stories." Bella said with a laugh.

"I certainly do not! I am the greatest storyteller in the universe!" she shouted, throwing her hands up in the air. Bella could hear a husky laugh.

"She is right Alice, you do suck at telling stories." Emmett said with a snort. Bella could hear him all the way downstairs as he set something down on a table.

"He's right Alice." Rosalie said. "Should I tell Bella the story about.."

"NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! FAMILY EMBARRASSMENT STAYS IN THE FAMILY!!" Alice yelled, interrupting Rosalie. Bella burst out laughing. She clutched the towel, hoping it wouldn't fall as she laughed her ass off.

"Hmmph!" Alice glared at Bella and Bella stopped laughing, her face going serious. Alice looked so adorable mad. That thought sparked the laughter. Bella laughed hard, that if she was human she would be crying and her sides would be aching.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you very much." Alice murmured, imitating Elvis Presley. "Now we have to get back to work!" Alice demanded. Bella wiped herself up and Alice zipped around the room, mumbling to herself about what Bella should wear.

"I think this is the one." Alice pulled out a black dress with a v-neck neckline and a cut out back. If Bella wore that, she would be uncomfortable and pulling the dress down every ten seconds.

"Alice..." Bella started.

"No, no it's cool." Alice said dramatically. "Don't listen to the fashion expert or anything, no, no. Bella is the expert now. I can see the headline: Sweatpants make the comeback. Oh, if that happens I'm leaving and moving to Antarctica and I will live with the penguins."

"Are you saying penguins have a better fashion sense than me?"

"That is exactly what I'm saying." Bella laughed as Alice sashayed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

"Ten points for Bella!" Emmett hollered. Bella giggled and looked around the closet. She wanted to look nice, but not fancy. Bella scanned the closet and her eyes landed on what she was looking for. Bella opened the undergarments draw and quickly grabbed a white bra and gray underwear. Bella watched as the towel fell from her porcelain body to the ground. Bella pulled the undergarments on and scavenged for clothes.

Bella's hands raked through endless draws and short dresses. Bella's eyes caught the jeans draw. She opened it and pulled out a pair of light blue jeans. She slid those on.

"What to wear.." she mumbled. After ten minutes, Bella decided to go simple. She pulled on a white tank top, a black and white plaid shirt and a gray cardigan that that hugged her curves and hung down to her thighs. Surprisingly, she found some plain blank converses to go with the outfit. Bella picked up her wet towel and walked towards the bathroom.

"Look who decided to show." Alice said with a playful sneer. Bella laughed and knew what she had to do.

"Queen of fashion, I beg for your forgiveness." Bella said, bending down on one knee.

"Hmm. I guess I can forgive you for that and the outfit you're wearing."

Bella laughed and sat down on the makeup chair and Alice ran a brush through her hair. Alice turned on the curling iron, re-curling the curls Alice had brushed out. Alice clapped her hands together, excitedly.

"Perfect!" she squealed. "The outfit isn't that bad." Alice mumbled, hoping Bella wouldn't hear her

"What was that, Alice? I couldn't hear you, speak up."

"Don't push it," Alice snarled. Bella laughed and Alice took in a deep breath and headed towards the window.

"What are you doing?" Bella asked.

"Edward is waiting for you downstairs. I stayed behind to help you and now I'm going through the window the meet my family," Alice said, pursing her lips. "I'd never thought I would ever say that." She admitted. Alice opened the window and jumped out it. Bella looked out the window to see Alice running towards the forest.

"Okay, Bella you can do this." Bella said to herself. She took in a shaky breath and opened the bathroom door.

It was beautiful. Red rose petals laid across the stairs. Candles illuminated the pathway as Bella walked down the stairs. She gripped the railing and heard a little crack. Bella looked and it. She had snapped the railing. She could hear Edward chuckling.

Bella closed her eyes and took in a breath and continued walking down the stairs. The first thing Bella say was Edward's shoes. He was wearing black shell cordovan's.

'I should've dressed fancier,' was the first thing that popped into Bella's mind. Bella exhaled and looked up to see the face that she loved to gaze at. Edward was wearing a white button up top and slacks. Edward watched Bella as she stared at him.

"It's nothing too fancy," Edward said with a crooked smile.

"It's absolutely perfect," Bella breathed, her eyes wandering the room. Edward chuckled. A song filled Bella's ears. It was absolute perfection. It was classical music on the piano. The only thing was she couldn't recognize who wrote it. It wasn't Beethoven or Clair de Lune, so who could have written this beautiful piece?

It was as if Edward read her mind. "I wrote this awhile ago. But now, It's my gift to you," Edward said.

Bella's face lit up, a huge grin spreading it's way onto her face. "This is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. It's way better than any Beethoven." Bella informed Edward. He dazzled Bella in every single possible way. Whether if it was his movement, his voice or even his eyes. With Edward, she felt something she had never felt with anyone. She felt safe.

Edward held out his hand. "May I have this dance?" Edward asked.

Bella giggled. "You may." Bella placed her hand on Edward's and he pulled her close him. His hands slithered around Bella's waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Bella leaned her head on Edward's chest and he held her close. She could feel him breath, sending chills down her spine. Edward chuckled at her shiver.

"I've never met anyone as extraordinary as you." Edward whispered. Bella smiled and swayed back and forth to the music. "I promise you Bella Swan, that no matter what happens to us, I will never stop caring for you. My whole life, I searched and searched for the right person. Then about a week ago you came into my life. You are the reason I exist, Bella; You're something worth fighting for. I will fight for both you and my daughter until I die."

Bella looked up into Edward's eyes. "All my life I've never belonged in society. I was an outsider. But now I know where I belong. I belong with you and Renesmee. What I'm trying to say is Edward is-"

Edward cut her off with his lips. His lips were so soft and plump. Their lips were synchronized. It was if Edward's lips were a lock and Bella's was a key. The kiss began to end. Bella wanted more. She continued the kiss and Edward chuckled against her lips. Edward finally pulled away and pulled her close, her head against his chest.

"I love you," Edward said.

Everything, right there and then stopped. It was as if the world fell of its rotation axis. Bella stroked the nape of Edward's neck with her thumbs and inhaled. She was going to regret this.

"I love you, and I don't think I could ever love anyone more than I love you." Bella blurted.

Edward kissed Bella on the forehead and held her against his body. Bella's placed her hand over his heart and Edward smiled.

"You have no idea how long I've waited for you," Edward mumbled.

The next day, Bella leaned against the wall, watching the Irish coven and the Egyptian coven engage in conversation. A cold hand brushed up against Bella's mid back. Edward pulled Bella close to him and kissed her hair. Bella felt happy in Edward's embrace. Renesmee bounded into the kitchen and gave Bella and Edward a giant hug.

Edward picked Renesmee up and twirled her around while she giggled. Renesmee raised her hand and placed it on Bella's cheek. She showed Bella every event that happened last night: playing tag with the pack, the wolves gouging out on hot dogs and hamburgers, the bonfire and her cuddling with Jacob. Edward chuckled.

"I missed you!" Renesmee said to Edward and Bella.

"We missed you too," Bella replied. Renesmee giggled and Edward put her down. She then skipped over to Alice and Jasper. Bella's eyes wandered the room, staring at everyone there. She counted everyone, trying to get an answer as to how many vampires were going to risk their lives.

"Twenty-two, not including the wolves," Bella murmured. "That's not enough people, Edward." Edward's jaw clenched.

"More will come," He promised. Bella looked out the window and inhaled. They had visitors. Bella grabbed Edward's hand and called for Renesmee. Renesmee followed Edward and Bella outside to greet their visitors. They were greeted by three African-American woman wearing animal hides.

"Welcome, friends," Carlisle greeted.

"Hello. My name is Kachiri, and these are my sisters Zafrina and Senna." The other two woman bowed their heads towards Carlisle. "We've come to meet her," Kachiri said.

"Our plea is being heard around the world; these ladies are from the Amazon," Edward whispered to Bella. Renesmee ran up to the three women and grinned.

"I'm Renesmee!" she said. The woman with a braid going down her back, Zafrina, bent down and smiled. Renesmee placed her tiny, plump hand on Zafrina's cheek. Zafrina's jaw dropped in amazement.

"Incredible," Senna mumbled

"Listen to her heart, sisters," Kachiri said.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

Blood flowed to Renesmee's cheeks making her blush. "Let me show you something, child," Zafrina said. Zafrina looked at everyone around her and inhaled. Edward opened his eyes and grinned. He was in the Amazon. Animals made all different types of sounds, monkeys swung from tree to tree and tree the height of a mountain crowded his view of the sky.

"Astonishing," Edward said.

"What?" Bella questioned. What was going on? The whole group of vampires were dazed off, staring around the plain old forest as if they were a child in Disneyland. "I don't see anything." Zafrina cut off her powers and everyone looked at Bella.

"Zafrina has an illusion talent; she can show you illusions or show you nothing at all. With your shield Bella, you can't see it," Eleazar told Bella.

"Oh." Bella mouthed, her mouth making an 'O' shape.

"Your shield is definitely the most powerful shield I've seen." Eleazar mentioned.

"If only she could shield the rest of us." Jasper mumbled. Shield the rest of the vampires? How? Her shield was stuck in her head and she wasn't a x-men of any sort. Kate looked at Bella and Instantly answered her question.

"My power used to be only in my palms; now I can transmit it all over my body," Kate stated.

"Incredible woman, Eh?" Garrett mumbled to Benjamin. Benjamin chuckled.

"I can teach you," Kate said.

"I will also help with this," Zafrina added.

Bella nodded. What she didn't know is that if she learned to open up her shield, Alice could see her future and Edward could read her mind and find out everything about her. Even the parts she wanted to keep hidden.
