PoV: Keefe

 "I bet you 10 pieces of mallowmelt Biana's following us!" I whispered to Dex as we walked.

 " Oh, no! There's no way I'm taking that bet! " Dex exclaimed , not even looking up from the gadget he was messing with.

 "Why not?"

 "Because I know you'll win! She's probably listening to us right now!"

 "Maybe." I winked and quickly his behind the side of a nearby building before calling, " HEY! I FOUND HER!! "

 "Where?!" I heard Biana squeal as she ran over to me. When she saw Sophie wasn't here, she frowned and crossed her arms over her chest, "You're a jerk."

 " Me? A jerk? " I said in mock hurt, "How dare you, Biana? To think, I once called you a friend!" She rolled her eyes, but I could see the smile working it's way into her mouth, "Oh. Not to mention there's a puppy back here."

 " Bronte's ears, there is?!? " Biana looked so excited. I pointed to the doghouse that say beside me. Biana looked in and squealed in delight as she pulled a tiny, golden puppy out. She let it gently for a while before setting it back down, "Okay. I forgive you."

 " Now, why were you following us when I specifically remember Fitz telling you not to? "

 "Um, I think you answered your own question, there." Biana pointed out.

 " Fair. It's just that that's what I do. I didn't expect you to do the same! "

Biana tossed her hair over her shoulder, "Well, why would I pass up an opportunity to spy on my brother? I mean, it could result in some serious blackmail!"

I laughed, " Okay, okay! I see your point! You can come!"

Biana grinned before vanishing again. I smiled, per the puppy myself, and continued walking until I met up with Dex again.

"Oh yeah, she's totally following us." I said casually.

"I told you she would be, " Dex replied absent mindedly.

"You owe me 10 pieces of mallowmelt."

" What?! No I don't! I never took the bet! "

"Well, you should still get me some!"

Dex laughed, " Like that will ever happen! "

I shrugged, "You never know!"

" Guys, " Fitz called from up ahead, "We're here."

I looked in front of me at the large park. Not as big as Havenfield, and definitely not even close to the size of Everglen, but it was fairly big on human standards. I scanned the green until I met Annabeth's stormy, grey eyes. She waved us over, and I led the group there.

 "Hey, Annabeth!" I exclaimed, making sure to use english , "what's up?"

 She shrugged, "Not much. I mean since yesterday."

 " Wait, " a boy, Leo, I remebered, interrupted, "What happened yesterday?"

" Um, just some cloaked black figures chasing them around while we looked for clues about where Sophie went. " I said casually, pointing at Annabeth, Hazel, and Percy, "Also, why are you here?"

" He was eavesdropping, " Hazel said plainly.

"Honestly, I don't blame him. " I gestured to Fitz, "His sister does that all the time! In fact. .."

I turned around and shouted, even though I knew it wasn't necessary at all, " BIANA!!! WHERE ARE YOU??? "

"I'm right here, Keefe!" Biana exclaimed, reappearing and causing everyone but me, Dex, and Annabeth to gasp, "Geeze, you don't have to be so loud!"

" Whatever. It's more fun that way! " I pointed out, "Anyways, an I right to assume you told them? " 

Annabeth nodded, "Actually, I told Hazel and Percy. This is where Leo's surprisingly amazing eavesdropping skills come in. "

"What can I say?" Leo grinned, " Leo McSizzle ia the best at listening to conversations people don't want him to be part of. Which are very uncommon! "

I looked at Leo for a moment before bursting into laughter, "Oh... Oh man! Leo... McSizzle! That's about... As good as... Lord... Lord Hunkyhair!" I gasped between laughs.

Leo's grin grew, " Who's 'Lord Hunkyhair '? "

I was laughing too hard to talk, so I just pointed at myself. Leo burst into laughter as well, while the rest of the group either smiled or put their head in their hands like they were exhausted of all this nonsense. That didn't stop me.

"Where'd you get the name 'Lord Hunkyhair ' from? " Leo asked when we finally stopped laughing.

"My... Friend, Ro, lost a bet with me. She now has to call me Lord Hunkyhair and she had to get a sparkly tattoo on her wrist. She hates anything glittery or sparkly. " I explained when Leo gave me a confused look.

"What do you get on?"

" Well, usually its...on...Sophie... " the group plunged into sad silence.

"On that note, " Annabeth broke the quiet, "Lets discuss why we're actually here. Does anyone have any ideas to where Sophie might be?"

 The group was pretty quiet until Dex spoke up, "Um, actually, yeah. Kind of. So, because we get into trouble, a lot, I thought it would be a good idea for everyone in our group to have panic buttons that allow me to track their locations when they press it." Fitz and I raised our hands to show the panic rings Dex had given us, " After Sophie disappeared, I got a signal from her panic ring, but it was really blotchy and all over the place, so I assumed it was a glitch. Then, when I heard she actually was gone, I realized the being in a cave could be throwing off the signal. I also know she's not in the List Cities. "

Annabeth nodded, "that's a start. We'll figure out more as we go. For now, let's just not tell anyone else about these meetings. That good? "

We all nodded. "I just have one question, Dex" I asked, "If this happened when Sophie went missing, why didn't you say anything at the meeting?"

Dex looked at his lap, " Um, well, it seemed kind of irrelevant, and... "

"And?"

Dex sighed , "When I was charting out the glitches to see if I could locate the signal... The glitches spelled 'TELL NO ONE '."
