Hiccup's P.O.V

As I overview my assignment I'm pretty sure I can handle this one. On my own of course, I'm not good with group work.

Normally I allow myself to be at least part of something but I can't anymore, it's just too much for me. I managed to get my grades upper and frankly I became a graded student.

Students come to be to do their homework once awhile like Astrid Hofferson unexpectedly. She must've heard about my make in Calculus.

She's very weird towards me and very outgoing especially, one of the few people that actually talks with me.

As I came by my locker there was marker written all over it again, and it says "Forgotten Outcast!"

I frown"that was a cheap shot".

And luckily I always have windex in my locker apparently. Randomly moment. Also a cloth. Classes was about to begin  and I'm guessing I was running late, so I quickly wipe the little vandalized marked and put away the windex.

Until Someone shows up to ruin my day once again. As she approaches me.

"Still around Haddock?"Andrea looks at me disappointed.

"Great"I sigh, ignoring her.

"Oh! Is Haddock ignoring his friend"She laughs, poking my shoulder.

"Oh please"I roll my eyes.

She laughs evilly"see you around Fishbone!".

As she walks away I sigh heavily,

I'm gonna do this tonight, because I can't take this anymore. I slam my locker and trail off to class.

SEVERAL HOURS LATER...

Got home as usual, seeing Toothless awaiting for me as my Dad isn't around at that moment.

"Hey Bud"I greet, hugging him. He's a big dog so.

I went up to the kitchen and decided to have a snack, which is not normally for me but I figure if I eat something I should be up and moving as I starve myself, which is why I'm a Fishbone.

As I finished up my sandwich I start thinking again but I try not to think much about it.

I frown wondering what's it like without me being around, I know my Dad will be alone or unless he'll find someone and make his family once again, and I'm already forgotten at Berk High as always been.

Well what would Toothless will do when I'm glen, will he be send to the pound or will he stay here with my Dad.

He's a dog he doesn't know wha to do to myself, go figure on that one.

I then put my dirty dishes in the sink and went up to my room. I turn the doorknob and saw my usual room, all near and clean like. Went over to my drawer and grab my usual needs which is rope, the thickest rope I can buy.

I then tie a knot which is a small size for my skinny little neck,  grab my last months farewell letter and placed it on my bed. Luckily Toothless is eating his food I'm sure he'll start a fuss.

I quickly grab my chair place it above the rope where I wanna commit this time.

I then try committing, but suddenly my rope wasn't strong enough until I fell on the floor coughing away, Toothless came running up the stairs and went up to me.

He barks quickly sniffing around me to know I'm okay.

"I'm okay Bud"I comfort, petting him.

"Damnit Johann you said this rope was the strongest you can find"I mumble, discarding the rope away.

I went up to my bathroom mirror and stare at myself, I look down to roll up my sleeves and saw my recent self harm cuts.

Astrid's P.O.V

Few days already I came by to check on him, I'm not giving up already. Me and Heather decided to go together, it was weird seeing him like this and I felt uncomfortable just to wait.

I look at Hiccup sadly, as I've been crying recently and also I couldn't sleep too, I didn't even shower today. I wore the same vintage jean hoodie since Hiccup's attempted.

I haven't had breakfast too, it's like I'm getting depressed too. I'm so stress out, I fiddle my fingers and stare down, not wanting to talk for now. I'm just so not me right now.

"Wanna play chess?"Heather asked, in a soft tone.

I sigh"yeah".

She nod, touching my shoulder as in "he'll be okay".

As she grabs a board game from her purse she sets up the chess, it was clear that none of us having start a conversation, it was soso for us. Looking back at Hiccup is just sad to see him like that.

"So about college, what are you gonna do? It's okay not to answer"Heather point out, as she move her pawn first.

I shrug, knowingly I wanna be with Hiccup's side but I know he isn't going anyway, the nurse told me and Stoick that they'll tell ya if Hiccup is awake, and I know it isn't healthy for me to stay in day and night, but I gotta sometimes. I feel he is alive.

"Berk University with...Hiccup, might be slight plans"I sigh, moving my pawn as well.

Heather nods, moving another pawn from the right side. I raise my brow and move the same.

"That's great, for me I'm heading to University of Berserk"She slightly smile.

I move my knight"that's awesome, hey isn't your brother graduating next year?".

"Yeah, well he has a girlfriend for some reason, I believe her name is Mala I think"Heather frowns, moving another pawn.

I then move one of my rooks as I might've got the advantage or not.

"I'm sure she's nice"I assure her, leaning against back of my chair.

"It's no biggy, I haven't even found a man yet"She slightly blush, thinking of another move.

"What about Francis"I suggest, smirking deeply as Heather is looking oddly strange.

"Fishlegs is that his nickname?"She asked, brushing her hair.

"I believe so, he's friends with Hiccup for awhile"I said, looking back at Hiccup.

"Sh#t I gotta go um used the girls washroom brb"Heather stumbles up, rushing out the door and head on to the washroom.

I frown, looking back  at Hiccup, not seeing his eyes open or speaking. Just a blank view of no sign of movement.

I stand up, walk over to the window, moving the curtain as I stare down seeing the busy streets of Berk, we're like high up and safety secured. Berk Regional Hospital is probably the size of the mall as well, which I recall of going to Nursing or something else in mind.

"Please odinson have mercy on Hiccup"I pray, staring at the sky as t begins to rain with thunder upon us.

I turn back to the board game on the table and as it's my turn while she's out to the bathroom I knock out one of Heather's pawns.
