Hiccup's P.O.V

I didn't expect Astrid to confront me about this, was she trying or unless she's wanting to be a friend. So I invite her in my house, Dad's not home until 8 o'clock so it's only 5:27pm.

"Wow nice house"Astrid said, glancing up.

"Yeah"I said, opening the door"after you".

She smiles"what a gentlemen"walks in looking around.

"Hey Toothless nice to meet you!"Astrid said in the girlish tone that I never heard"oh he's cute!".

I chuckle"he likes you".

"Nice place you guys got here"Astrid complemented, glazing the walls as it's well decorated with modern version.

"Uh thanks, you know my Father he's the Mayor after all"I walk towards the living room to sat on the couch.

Astrid then looks at the family picture, the family picture of me, Dad, and my Mom.

"Is this your Mom? She so beautiful"Astrid smiles"awe your so cute!".

I blush deeply"heh thanks I guess".

She turns around walk towards and sat beside me"I'm sorry".

"It's okay, I got over it"I look away.

"Hey, don't feel bad. Just try to be the real you".

"I know, I'll try"I smiled, am I lying to her?.

"Wanna watch a movie to pass the time Hicc?"She ask.

"Uh sure, what do you want to watch?"I ask, turning in the tv and enter Netflix.

"Well, how about hunger games?".

"Sure"I select the movie and both of us sat next to each other and went on the movie.

"This movie is my favourite"She said to me.

"Which one?".

"All of them".

After we finished watching the movie Astrid went home and I went to my room lay in my bed, it doesn't feel right to have someone in my home well except for my Dad's friends and Gobber but this was unusual to feel or see.

Next morning was the usual route, get bullied a lot and clearly don't do nothing about it. I don't care at least I'm popular of that doing, it appears to be that everyone is lining up for the graduation gown rental payment in two months upcoming of our graduation.

I didn't want to take my picture taken but my Dad wanted at least a picture of me being a successful person this year. So now that I gotten my volunteer hours in, you didn't expect me to be a hermit in my own home? Ha!.

Went to the library sit in my usual spot which is the far corner where students don't really see me nor the librarian, so this is great. One of the places I go to. Sitting at the bench table about to get my study books until my phone went on.

Astrid: hey Hiccup where you at?

Hiccup: I'm at the library why?

Astrid: can I hang with you until first period bell

Hiccup: sure, go straight ahead turn right and turn left, you'll see the far corner I hope you can because no one haven't saw me yet

Astrid: okay! See you soon 😀

As I wait for her to find me, I saw her looking around until she spot me waiting for her. She approach me, giving me a smile which I didn't hesitate to smile back at her.

"It's weird that students don't go through here"She said, place her purse by my backpack and sat next to me.

"It's because students barely come to the library or come through here"I said, turning to her.

"Why?"She ask, while checking her makeup.

"Are you wearing makeup?!"I ask, giving my unusual tone that she never heard before.

She gave me the what the Thor look"uh yeah".

"It seems not You"I stutter, did I really complement about her looks.

"Wait you like it when I don't wear make up then?"She asks, smiling.

I blush"w-what?! N-n-no as if! I was just being sarcastic I guess".

"Uh huh sure Haddock, it seems Haddock have got some interest"She smirks and continue on her make up.

"Oh be quiet"I mumble.

After school we decide to walk together to home, since we lived in the same neighbourhood. She didn't mind people watching us walking home which is creepy. I kinda like it, once we got to our neighbourhood we went our separate ways.

I then decide to tell her"umm Astrid?".

"Yeah Hiccup?"She respond, looking at me before going to her street.

"You know Astrid. Everyday I think of something stupid or any suicidal thoughts in my head"I said to her, taking a glance on my arms.

"These scars were here since I was 10"

"Aw Hiccup, it's okay, I'm here for you and you know it"She said, resting her head on my shoulder.

"I know but I don't think it's right and what I'am".

"I don't think so Hiccup. What ever you looking for Hiccup, it's in here"Astrid place her hand on my chest.

"Maybe you need to look In a different way"She whispers through my ear.

"Maybe"I look at her, and couldn't help to smile.

"Keep smiling Haddock, maybe I can you know some interest Talk"She giggles, and wave back at me.

I chuckle"okay".

"Later Astrid"I wave.

"Goodnight Hiccup"She kept walking until she's far away.

As we set apart I continue on the walkway until suddenly I bump into the bullies from Berk High.

"Well if it isn't Fishbone himself"

"Ugh what do you want, Andrea"I grumble of her insult.

"Oh you know being cool and successfully being better as my worst person to hate"She laughs.

I rolled my eyes"how unfortunate".

She then grabs my collar shirt"you listen hear, you can breath, blink, or even cry but that doesn't satisfied me of making you suffer Fishbone, I'm dangerous and you can't do anything about it. Keep your mouth shut, got that?!".

I gulp and nodded, then a few people came behind me.

"Oh goody I'll see you tomorrow bestfriend"She smiles then hug me just to make those random people think we're friends but we're not.

As they were gone she ruffly push me off and I was on the ground.

"You useless fishbone!!!"She said insolently kicks my side"weak and such a loner wonder why your mom died".

She walks away causally and I was on the ground in a little pain.

My heart skips a beat I then run off fast just to ignore all radish of comments about me. Ran quick inside the mansion and sigh heavily. Toothless was barking wondering what's wrong.

I jog up the stairs and went to my bathroom, sat on the toilet and breathe .

"I should just quit"I exclaim, pulling my sleeve to my shoulder and saw my cuts were actually healing.

"No, I kept a promise I can't break it. I don't break promises"I whisper to myself.

That girl I didn't mentioned earlier she's my number one bully in school, for almost 7 years since we were kids. What a life time. Andrea Hayden, dark long hair, brown eyes, same height as Astrid I suppose, I guess she's one of those malevolent students but she does get respect from the popular kids.

As I hesitate to grab the razor, Astrid send me a text.

Astrid: hey Hiccup, I forgot to mention that tomorrow is a half day, so you wanna hang out during lunch?

I look up and think about it

Hiccup: sure, Umm at the mall?

Astrid: okay! We'll decide where to eat once we're there, good night Hicc 😇
