So far, my day has been very busy. I woke up to saying my classes were moved to night so I decided to go volunteer at the animal shelter for a few hours. Me: Just pulled in.

We hung up and I got out of my Mercedes and locked it after me. I went in, got my drink and paid. I saw Trinity sitting in the chairs talking to a pretty orange-red head.

Bali led us over to the long table where six people were sitting at eating and conversing amongst their selves.

Bali: They are Eva, Will, Dillyn, Olivia, Amber and Lucas. Yall, this is Kalani.

When I saw Lucas, all I wanted to do was smack him. I was so mad and hurt that he could just forget about me.

So, let me fill you guys in. Lucas and I dated since Sophomore year up until he moved away to Atlanta for his career. About two weeks after he moved up there, everything began to stop. Me: Well let me remind you. You knew how much promises meant to me and yet you broke one. Then you told me to wait for you and I did. But I ask you for one simple thing that meant the most to me and I don't get that. So, what did I get?

He didn't say anything.

I looked at him again with my teary eyes before going back inside to eat.
