The next day I didn't see Percy anywhere. He wasn't at breakfast. He wasn't at lunch. He wasn't training. He wasn't anywhere. So I decided that I would ask the seven.
"Hey guys look there's Annabeth!" Frank said and Hazel waved.
"Leo you and her should date."
"Shut up Piper! I know you want us to have a relationship, but I won't happen!"
"Oh come on Leo.... Pipes has got a point. You two are both single."
"Thank you Jason."
What? I'm not single......... I'm dating Percy.
"Hey guys. Have any of you seen-"
A note appeared in Piper's hands. She opened it.
Piper squealed. "OH MY GODS!!!! LITERALLY! The gods want to see us right now!"
Suddenly we were in the throne room. I thought I saw I shimmer.
"Heros of Olympus! Welcome." Zeus said spreading his arms out as in ta-da.
"We have decided to give you all a wish." Athena stated. Jason and Piper wished for all of us to have immortality.
"NO! I don't want immortality! I want to know where Percy is!" They all turned their heads at me. "Percy who?" I looked around in despair. This is some cruel joke right? "Percy Jackson! Son of Poseidon! Hero of Olympus! One of the seven!" Poseidon shook his head, " Athena look at what you did to the poor girl. She's gone insane since your quest with the mark, and Tartarus. I've never had a son named Percy Jackson girly. Now Zeus just give them the immortality."
I'm immortal now.........and there's nothing I can do about it. My boyfriend doesn't exist and there's nothing I can do about it. I ran my fingers across Percy's necklace. I walked to his cabin. Nothing showed that Percy was ever there. Was he a figment of my imagination? Have I been living a lie? "Oh Percy. Where are you? Are you still here for me? Why did you have to leave me?" I swore I heard, "I never did......." It was Percy's voice. I suddenly felt warm and safe, like someone was hugging me. But no one was there....... I ran to my cabin. I hoped this day is a dream. But no. It was real. I cried myself to sleep.
DREAM
I saw my life so far traveling with Luke and Thalia. Meeting Percy. My father and I watching a movie together. Thalia coming back to life. Meeting Grover. Going on quests with Percy and my friends. Percy and I dating. Our successes together. Percy and I. Me and Percy. A shimmering figure appeared. "Hello Annabeth." The voice sounded familiar. I couldn't see anything on the figure. He had no face. He just had a body. "Who-who-who are you?" I asked. He sighed, "who was I? Someone you knew. I cannot say anything else about who I was. The Fates won't allow it. The longer I stay like this. The more you can see of me. I'm here now. In your dreams. They'll only be good dreams from now on.......as long as I'm here." I couldn't help but smile. "So you're going to be like my guardian angel?" He nodded then he frowned. "It is time for you to wake. I'll see you tomorrow. Annabeth do not despair. You will figure it out eventually....... Goodbye." The boy disappeared.
DREAM OVER
I woke up. And I felt alone......... Where are you Percy?
