*Aaron's POV*
"Soph, Soph wake up." I whisper trying to shake Sophie awake. She was supposed to do breakfast today for her and Lex because I would be gone in an hour.

I had to go to Miami, my sister needs me. I don't exactly know why she needs me, but I would like to go see them in anyway. "What, Aaron?" Sophie snaps.

"You're supposed to be making breakfast." I say. "Oh yeah, I forgot. Okay, I'll be out in fifteen minutes. What time is it?" She yawns. "5am." I reply.

"What!? I can make breakfast later, you know we usually wake up 'round 11." She exclaims. "Whatever. Just make sure to make it, ok?" I ask, she nods her head sleepily and dozes off again.

Knowing she'll forget, I set an alarm on her phone for 10:30. I walk out of her room and grab my bags from my room.

As I walk out I almost drop my bags. Lex was just leaning against a wall looking at me.

"Lex. You scared me, I thought you were asleep." I whisper. "I was. But not anymore. You ditching us?" She asks.

I chuckle, "You wish, no, remember I've got to be in Miami for my sister." 

She yawns, "Oh yeah. Tell her I say hello?" I raise an eyebrow, "She doesn't know who you are but sure." She nods her head and goes back to her room.

"Aaron! You're here!" Layla says hugging me. "Yeah, I am." I hug her back. "So, why'd you call me here? What do you need me for?" I ask.

"Oh I don't need you, I just wanted to share the good news!" She replies cheerfully. "If you're pregnant, I'm going to beat your boyfriend up, you're only 14, Lay, you've still got a life ahead of you!"

I say shaking my head. "Close, Aaron, no, Mom's pregnant!" She smiles.

"Really?" I smile and walk into the house. "Yeah, you can see for yourself, she's in her room." Layla says sitting on the couch.

I nod my head and walk into my mom's room. "Hey mom!" I say. "Aaron, ah, you've grown!" She laughs getting up to hug me.

"You too!" I say patting her stomach which has a hint of pregnancy on it.

She laughs and lightly hits my arm. "Oh, Aaron, you've always known how to sweet talk." She rolls her eyes.

"Yeah, I did, didn't I?" I laugh sitting on the edge of her bed. "Where's dad?" I ask.

"He went to the supermarket,  he's cooking dinner for us tonight. If you want, you can help, seeing as your a culinary major and all." She replies.

"I would want to help but dad will go on and on about how I'm on vacation and should get my rest." I reply. She nods her head and we continue talking about nonsense.

*Alexa's POV*

"Lex! Breakfasts ready!" I hear Sophie shout.

I stretch my arms and yawn, then I walk to the kitchen. I smell something burning. "What's burning?" I ask sitting down.

"That would be the waffles, bacon and....eggs." Sophie sighs. I laugh, "Chuck it. We can get McDonalds."

"Thank you! I thought I was gonna have to eat it." She smiles.

"I love you too much to let you die." I joke and she glares at me, "It's not that bad." She picks up a piece of bacon and nibbles on it, "Okay! It is that bad!" She starts spitting it out and wiping her tongue with a napkin while I laugh hysterically.

"Let's go." She says. "But I'm in my PJs." I reply.

"Me too! Who cares, it's just us, if they glare at us we will just glare back." She smiles. I laugh and follow her out to her car.

I jump into passenger seat and she starts the engine.

Twenty minutes later we reach McDonalds, we go to the teller, order our food and go sit down at a table near the back.

Sleepily I rub my eyes, and try my hardest to stifle a yawn. "I'm going to go wash my face." I say and head to the bathroom.

While I'm drying my face with a paper towel, my phone starts ringing. "Hello?" I ask. "Hey Lex, did I wake you?" He asks. "No, I'm at McDonalds with Soph." I reply. "I told her to make you breakfast. What happened?" He asks.

"She did make it but it burnt, so I suggested McDonalds." I yawn.

"Oh, alright. Enjoy!" He says. "Why'd you call?" I ask.

"Just checking up on you." He replies. "Why'd your sis need you?" I ask yawning again.

"Oh. Uh, my mom's pregnant." He says. "Cool! Girl or boy?" I ask. "Not sure, hold on, my dads calling, tell Soph I say hey, bye." He ends the call and I put my  phone back in my pocket.

I walk back to the table to see Sophie stuffing her face with an Egg McMuffin, I sit down and dig in to my food.

"That was delicious!" Sophie screams as we get into the car. I nod my head, "I totally agree!" We laugh and twenty minutes later we pull up at the cabin.

"Yes, Aaron?" Sophie sighs answering her phone. Mumble mumble mumble, "No, my food burnt!" She says.

More mumbling. "Whatever Aaron, bye!" She ends the call and I laugh, "You guys are practically siblings!"

"Yeah he's my annoying twenty year old brother and I just love living under the same roof as him." She replies rolling her eyes and I laugh again.

"Why do you live with him, if you can't stand him?" I ask. "Cause he's my best friend, you are meant not to be able to stand them." She replies as if it were the most obvious thing ever.

"I guess so. Can't argue with logic." I say and head into the cabin. "So what are you going to be for Halloween?" She asks. "I'm picking up my outfit tomorrow." I say.

"Yeah, but what are you going to be?" She asks. I put a finger on my lips and whisper, "Surprise."

She narrows her eyes at me, "Fine. But then I'm not telling you what I'm going as." I shrug, "Okay." She just pouts and turns on the TV.
