Andre
[Virgil's pov]
"Hey..." I trailed off. He just brushed past me, not making a single acknowledgement that I said anything to him.
Every interaction with Roman makes me feel like I'm the other side of an interrogation room. I can see him, but he can only see a mirror.
He's basically a brick wall. It's like every argument was another brick added to the wall. Every joke taken the wrong way was just added cement. And I don't have a sledgehammer to break it.
"That was quite rude of him" Logan commented.
"He's always like that" I tell him.
"He shouldn't be that way. You are another side in this mind palace. You are..uh what's the word? Oh yeah, you are a friend, Virgil" Logan said. I'm his friend?
"Friend?" I questioned.
"I do quite enjoy you company" Logan stated.
"Really?" I said.
"Yes. You are the most rational one of the others, you let me ramble, and I enjoy our conversations. If I'm being honest, the others can be quite insufferable" Logan told me.
"You're not wrong there" I said with a slight chuckle.
"We should converse more often" Logan said.
"Yeah, we should" I agreed.
"Well, I'm off to do more work. It was nice talking to you, Virgil" Logan informed me, and started walking to his room. I walk back to my room with a slight smile and a heavy blush.
Maybe I should stop trying to find a sledgehammer and look for the door close by.
Sorry that the chapter is so short. Hope you liked the metaphors. Well anyways, thanks for reading. Comment, vote, whatever.
