-3rd Person POV-
The small village of Phoenix Drop was buzzing with excitement. Why? Well, the answer was simple - one of the village couples were to get married that very day, and everyone was invited.
As the townspeople were getting ready for the ceremony that afternoon, a certain maid of honor was going crazy in a particular purple and white house.
"AHHH! You look so pretty, sis! I'm SO excited for you to become Mrs. Y/n Ro'meave! Then I'll be related to all the Ro'meaves too!!! We'll be, like, ROYALTY! You will have a different last name than me, but that doesn't matter! MY SHIP IS SAILING, AHHHHHHH!"
"... ship?" The crazy girl's mom asked, confused, "I didn't know you owned a ship, Owl! And I thought my daughters would tell me everything..."
Aphmau giggled, putting the finishing touches on the bride's hair, "She doesn't own an actual ship, Mrs. L/n. It's a fangirl term... aaaaaaaaand, your hair is done, Y/n!"
"Ohh... that actually makes a lot of sense..." M/n muttered.
Y/n laughed, gazing into the mirror at her glammed up self. A beautifully sewn together wedding dress - courtesy of Cadenza - was draped over her body, the amount of makeup on her face was just right, and her hair was in her favorite style.
Still, she looked over herself multiple times before asking, "Do I look alright?"
"Alright? You look stunning, baby- Ow!"
"She's getting married, you idiot! This is not the time for flirting!"
Glancing over, Y/n sees Travis and Katelyn standing at the door. Or, rather, Katelyn was standing. Travis was on the ground in pain.
"Hey, Katelyn! Hey, Travis!" Owl greeted.
"Hey Owl, Y/n, Aphmau, Mrs. L/n... Sorry about Travis," Katelyn said.
Y/n smiled. "It's fine, it's not your fault. Travis, though, should watch his mouth if he really wants to walk me down the aisle, today," She replied, accusation apparent in her voice.
"Yes, ma'am!" The white-haired boy declared, getting up. "Thank you again for letting me walk your daughter down the aisle in place of her dad, Mrs. L/n."
The mother nodded. "Of course, Travis. I can tell you care about her just as much as her father did... and you're much more of a character in her story than I ever was."
Although he was a little confused, Travis grinned in response anyway, "Yes, thank you. Honestly, though, Y/n, you look absolutely beautiful. Vylad sure is lucky to have you as his bride!"
"Thanks, Snow White."
Travis laughed. "You're welcome."
Meanwhile, that certain brown-haired boy Travis mentioned felt incredibly nervous.
"I look alright for her, right? Won't she judge me? What about the others, will they judge me? Irene, please help-"
Alec, the best man, patted his friend on the back. "Don't worry. Everything's going to be fine. Breathe in, breathe out. She loves you~ That's all that matters!"
Vylad nodded, thanking the boy beside him. "You've been such great help this past couple of days, Alec. You and Owl - which is great considering the fact that when our relationship came crashing down you two were just about ready to kill me."
The ex-bandit laughed. "Yeah, that's true... but that was in the past. I've realized how much you love each other and I don't want to get in the way of that!"
Suddenly - knock, knock, knock!
Garroth, who was silently getting ready in his own little corner, opened the door. He gasped, "Mother! You're here!" The two immediately hugged.
"Of course I'm here!" Zianna Ro'meave exclaimed, "I wouldn't dream of missing your brother's big day!"
The groom's face lit up as he approached his mom. "Thank you so much for coming, mom. I can't believe you managed to take time off, especially now that Tu'la is gone and things are getting busy," He stated. The mother embraced his son.
"Like I said before, I would never miss your wedding day," She responded, stepping back. "Wow, you look so grown up Sweet Pea! It's incredible - you're my first boy to get married! And to your childhood friend too!"
"Yeah," Vylad answered, a sheepish smile on his face, "It's been a long journey."
"That's to be expected! Oh, you must be the best man!" Zianna said, turning her attention towards Alec.
"Yes, I am. My name is Alec. I'm a good friend to both Y/n and Vylad. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Ro'meave," He greeted.
Alec's formalness seemed to have surprised everyone, but that shock was suppressed once a blue-haired man named Dante entered the room.
"It's time for the wedding, everyone! You ready, Vylad?" He asked, a cheerful tone in his voice.
The boy nodded. "As ready as I'll ever be..." With that, they all walked out the door.
Finally, after such a long wait, it was time for the two lovers to be united as one.
People were seated all around the venue, anticipating what was to come. The wedding was to take place on the beach in Phoenix Alliance, where Y/n and Vylad first confessed. Placed on the beach were pale white chairs adorned with f/c flowers surrounding a deep green pathway. That path leads straight to an archway where the bride and groom were going to say their vows.
Once everyone was settled, and the bride and groom arrived, music played, signaling the wedding's start.
First, a little girl with bright blue hair came parading down the aisle, throwing flowers everywhere. Her brother was next to her, recalling the last time he did this. Each bridesmaid and groomsmen walked in pairs behind them, Owl and Alec being the last to arrive. Finally, to conclude the trail of people, Y/n and Travis walked down the aisle.
Vylad audibly gasped when he saw his loved one. She was looking drop-dead-gorgeous. Even if she didn't think so, many people thought the same.
Once Travis brought Y/n to the altar, he gave her a pat on the back and gave Vylad a thumbs up. Then, he headed to his seat.
Y/n walked up to Vylad and grabbed his hands. Both their hearts beat fast.
This is the moment we've all been waiting for.
"Dearly beloved," Chad the Priest started, "we are gathered here today to join in unity these two souls who have traversed beyond themselves to become one! The love they share shall be bonded together, here on this day, witnessed by friends and family. Now, do you, Vylad Ro'meave, take Y/n L/n to be your darling wife?"
Straight to the point, huh?
The brunette nodded. "I do."
"And do you, Y/n L/n, take Vylad Ro'meave in this union to be your dashing husband?"
Y/n looked deep into Vylad's emerald green eyes, and finding nothing but love, smiled and replied, "I do."
"I now announce you, husband and wife! You may smooch the bride!!!" Chad shouted, and, just like that, Vylad and Y/n kissed.
It became official - Y/n L/n was now Y/n Ro'meave. They're husband and wife. The two kids whom once played tag in their O'khasian backyards were now in Phoenix Drop, ready to spend the rest of their lives together. It was a dream come true.
The reception took place on the alliance island. There was eating - mostly cake, for Vylad - laughing, and dancing. Before the night came to an end, Vylad and Y/n danced together, reminiscing about their adventure...

Vylad's POV
I found a love for me
Darling just dive right in
And follow my lead
I held her in my arms as we danced. She let me take the lead, and I took it.
Well I found a girl beautiful and sweet
I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
I guess Y/n and I were right for each other from the start... we just needed time to figure it out.
'Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Not knowing what it was
I will not give you up this time
I remember being so close... being so in love but not doing anything about it. All those occasions as children when I helped her, and she helped me. We were inseparable... until she disappeared and I died. But, now that we're married, I'm never letting her slip away again.
But darling, just kiss me slow, your heart is all I own
And in your eyes you're holding mine
We belong to each other now. I can call her "mine". I can also call her my... "Wife". That'll take some time to get used to, I'm sure. It'll just be like the term, "Girlfriend"...
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song
Right now, together, dancing like nobody's even there... I feel connected to her. I remember when it felt like we were a million years apart - like I could never win back her love. I also remember, farther back in time, when she gave herself up for Phoenix Drop, and I almost felt like I didn't deserve the courage she had. She's special, my Y/n... I'm so glad I have her.
"Hey, Vylad?" Her voice called out to me, snapping me out of my loving trance.
"Yeah?"
When you said you looked a mess,
I whispered underneath my breath
"Why do you keep staring at me...? My hair got caught in a branch earlier... is that why? I look like a mess, don't I?" She asked.
But you heard it...
"Darling, you look perfect, tonight..."
Blush spread across her face as I chuckled.
"It's true. I was just admiring your beauty, that's all."
I grinned, seeing her cheeks grow redder.
"S-Stop it..." She muttered, averting her gaze.
"Heh, okay... so, why were you staring back at me, huh?" I asked.
She then looked back at me, straight in the eye. "I'm sorry."
"Huh?"
"I'm sorry I forgot you..."
"I forgave you the minute I found out what happened."
She smiled and whispered, "I love you."
"I love you too."
-3rd Person POV-
So, the couple danced the night away, completely and utterly in love.
She began as a hopeless slave...
... and he began as a broken Shadow Knight...
... but the two found each other, and now they won't let go.
Not now, not ever, until the end of time.
I guess there's only one thing left to say...
THE END!
