I wake up. It's 5:30 a.m. I'm not ready for school. My parents left for work, so I'm home alone. I think to myself "I'm not ready for school, not after what happened in the summer."

What happened in the summer was the worst. I was at a party with my best friend, Catherine. She's been my best friend ever since I was 5. I did have other friends, but I didn't really like them. So me and Catherine went to a party. Catherine decided to drink, but I didn't. "Why don't you have a drink? You'll be fine." Catherine told me. I decided not to drink. 2 hours later Catherine is drunk and I felt uncomfortable. "You know what? You never want to have fun!" Catherine yelled, while sounding drunk. She kept yelling at me and ditched me 10 minutes later. So I went home, crying. I remember Catherine threatened that she would stab me. I wish I could stay home.

But my parents forced me to go, so I get ready and eat. Then I get on the bus.
