Barry woke up to the ground. He felt like sobbing. Why was he still in this nightmare!?

He almost missed Zoom.

Almost.

He lifted his head to see Caitlin, Joe, Wally, Len, Iris, Lisa, Mick, and Cisco standing outside of the cell. 

"What do you want?" Wally asked. "I mean, you seem to enjoy making us feel like shit, so is that it? Do you just hate us?"

Barry wanted to sob, but Zoom had hardened him.

He couldn't cry if he wanted to.

So, he chose silence.

Wally stepped up to the cell, and banged on it. Barry didn't flinch. "WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH MY FAMILY!?!??" Wally screamed. Again, Barr didn't flinch.

Suddenly, Wally opened the cell, and walked right up to him. (Barry is still sitting on the floor)

Barry didn't make any move to get up. 

Suddenly, Wally slapped him. He didn't even take notice. 

He thought back to when Zoom would slap him...

"You don't deserve to be alive," Zoom had hissed, and Barry believed him.

He didn't. 

He was lucky. 

And he didn't deserve this luck.

Barry looked down at his hand, and tried to vibrate it. 

It didn't work. Maybe they had some speed dampener or something?...

"Why aren't you running?" Wally demanded. "Because I have nowhere to go," Barry said.

It was true. He had nothing, even if this wasn't a drug-induced world.

"Do you still think that we're all hallucinations?" Caitlin asked. Barry nodded.

Iris broke into tears and ran out of the room. Joe and Lisa left to comfort her. Mick walked away because he was bored.

"Barry... Why did you provoke Killer Frost yesterday?" Cisco asked. "And me?" 

Barry chuckled dryly. "Wouldn't you like to know," he said. 

Suddenly, Len walked up to his cell, pushed past Wally, and kissed Barry. Barry immediately responded, kissing back, and he felt something inside him break.

The flood gates opened.

Len pulled away, and hugged Barry while Barry cried into his shoulder. "Did that feel fake?" Len whispered into Barry's ear.

Barry shook his head.

Maybe this was the real world.

Maybe.

...

As Barry slept that night, he couldn't help but dream of that kiss.

One thing he hd missed? Len.

His kisses, his kindness, everything.

Until he remembered that Len cheated on him.

Even then that didn't cure his lovesick heart.

He sighed. What the hell had happened to his life!?

...

When he woke up, he found that the cell door was open.

And no-one was there.

He walked toward the door.

Then he remembered something.

...

Barry was so tired. He hadn't slept for days.

He looked around.

Zoom was gone.

He was untied.

He sat up, and walked toward the door.

He walked past it, and immediately fell to the floor.

He cried out in agony.

It felt like his bones were being broken and set over and over again.

Then Zoom walked over, picked him up, and shoved him into the chair.

"Never try that again, or the same thing will happen," he warned.

That was the day he cut off Barry's toe.

...

Barry flinched away from the door.

He wouldn't go through it.

That pain was unimaginable.

He wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

...

Caitlin looked at the screen in chock.

Barry wasn't walking out of it!

Why?

Why in the world would he want to be in there?

"I'm gonna go talk to him," Len said.

...

Barry stared at the open door in complete fear.

Suddenly, Len walked in.

He immediately schooled his expression.

"Why'd you leave the door open?" Barry greeted.

"Why didn't you walk out?" Len replied.

Barry couldn't help the small shudder that passed through him.

"What? You wanted me to? You wanted to have a damaged speedster walking around?"

Len looked at him in shock.

Everyone watching the cameras did too.

"Barry-you're-you're not damaged," Len said. Barry rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I am. The fact that it took you that long to say is proof enough."

"No, I just, I can't believe you feel that way."

"What? Why? I was kidnapped after I escaped my family, and I was still trying to recover (Wink) from you cheating on me!"

Everyone except Len and Barry gasped.

Len looked down.

"Listen, Bear-" he started. "No! I don't want to hear more of your bullshit! First, you broke my heart with a note. Second, you broke my heart by raping me and saying ever possible thing that could hurt. Finally, you broke my heart by cheating on me. So, I don't care."

Len felt like his heart was going to break.

"Why won't you leave the cell?" Len finally asked.

"I don't want to face people like you," Barry snarled back. (Snarl: {of a person} say something in an angry, bad-tempered voice)

Len sighed in defeat.

"Well, goodbye, Barry," he said.

He left.

Barry thought back to the real reason he hadn't left the cell...

"You know that searing pain you felt, Barry?" Zoom asked. Barry nodded. "It wasn't your bones breaking and resetting. 

"It was the Speedforce being drained from your body."
