Evan was completely lost for words, trying to say something to Connor. It couldn't be him, but they looked so similar.

"You're Evan Hansen, right?" Connor asked

"Y-Y-Yeah!" Evan blurted out, becoming embarrassed after. "Y-You still remember me?"

"Well, you were in those last moments before I killed myself..." Connor said looking at his grave

"T-This got to be a dream..." Evan muttered pinching himself, soon realizing it wasn't a dream

"H-How...How are you alive? You died...a year ago..." Evan asked

"I should've, you got that right," Connor said. "But the pills didn't work. It put me in a coma or something" Connor said running his hand through his messy hair

Evan's mind was still racing. What should he do? He thought but got an idea, and prayed it worked.

"W-Why don't you come back to my place? You're gonna need somewhere to stay, it's getting late..." Evan muttered

Connor looked at Evan and sighed. He didn't have much of a choice. He needed to stay somewhere till he could figure all of this out

"Sure, thanks...I guess" Connor said. "Cmon led the way"

Evan nodded as they walked back to his place. Evan was internally freaking out but he managed to stay calm on the outside. Connor was fairly calm for someone who almost died.

They soon arrived at Evan's place.

"Nice place you have here" Connor commented. He noticed that no one was home. "Where are your parents?"

"Ah...my mom is working. She works overtime a lot.." Evan replied

"And..your dad?" Connor asked confused

"...." Evan was silent for a second but responded soon. "He left when I was a kid," Evan said closing his eyes to calm himself

"Oh..." Connor now did feel a bit bad. "Sorry"

"No it's fine, you were curious," Evan said. "So..." Evan began but was cut off by Connor

"What happened when I died?" He asked.

Evan froze up, his heart racing. He had to tell Connor the truth, what happened, everything he did.

"It's...a long story, but I'll try to summarize it," Evan said as he took a deep breath to begin the story.
