Luis drove away.
I wasn't sure where he was going, but I didn't care...
Michelle came to my house, "Uh, hey?" I said, not expecting her.
"Hi!" she replies, cheerfully.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"I'm fine, the real question is, are you?" she replies.
Why wouldn't I be?
"I'm great...I guess," I reply, suspiciously.
"You're not upset?" she asks, surprised.
"Michelle, is there something you're not telling me?" I ask in curiosity.
"Savannah..." she says without finishing. "You're hiding something from me. I can tell..." I gave her a shocked look.
"Savannah, I'm sorry," she replied.
I looked down, "Come back when you're ready to talk."
I shoved her away.
How could she?
Michelle wouldn't keep anything from me!
Knowing her, she has to spill.
I went inside, "Savannah, would you like some lunch?" mother asks when I walk in.
"Uh, yeah, sure," I reply, calmly, until I see what she made.
"I made your favorite, lasagna," the last time she made lasagna, was when my Grandma...died.
"Mom, something's wrong, I know there is," I knew something was up.
I just had to figure out what it was.
"Savannah! There is nothing wrong! I just thought I'd make lasagna because you seem upset about something," I could tell mom was lying.
"Everything's fine, I'm not upset..." I put on a fake smile.
We sat down to eat.
Everyone was silent, until dad finally said, "How was church?"
I looked at him.
"Church was fine. You should've came." I hid my anger.
I knew when dad and mom were hiding something, and they definitely were...
