Natsu's (POV)

"My name is Nashi... Nashi Dragneel daughter of Natsu and Lucy Dragneel."

What!!!

My heart was beating rapidly.

Nashi Dragneel.

"Excuse me, would you mind saying that again?"

"You're my father."

"One more time?"

"Get your shit together dad!" She giggled.

"Watch your mouth!" I scolded.

"So it's okay for you to swear but I can't?" She scoffed.

"You're my daughter... Mine and Lucy's daughter... How... When did..."

"Slow your roll old man. I havent been born yet... Did you miss the part where I said that I was from the future?" She asked.

"No... I just never thought that she and I would ever..."

"Mom was right you really are a dense idiot... now anyway." She smiled.

"Your mother and I..."

"Sorry pops but I can't tell you much of the future because it could alter some important events. In fact before I return to my time period I have to erase your memory."

"Then why did you tell everyone in the guild..."

"That was all for you... what I said in there, only you heard it. They heard something completely different." She answered.

"So that..."

"Was just to mess with you." She chuckled.

"You really are my kid."

"Yup, okay DAD lets get going." She said emphasis on 'dad'.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"To find mom... Duh." She pulled my hand and we ran back to my house.

I packed a new bag. She said it would take atleast a day to get there and that it would probably take us two weeks.

We hopped on a train headed to Lotalious Town.

On the train

"So where is she?" I asked.

"Ah ah ah, I'm only your guide... You'll be the one searching." She said strictly.

"Nashi how old are you exactly?"

"19, why?" She asked.

"Well your almost the same age as Lucy and I so... Maybe when we're in public, don't call me dad."

"No problemo Natsu." She smiled.

"How did you know to come back to the past and help me find Lucy?"

"I didn't, I just came back to make sure you guys get together faster. Growing up you two always spoke about how it took a while for you to get together. So I came here to make that reality." She sighed.

"So originally how did your mother and I..."

"Like I said father I'm your guide I point you into the right direction and then I leave. But dont worry you'll see me again twenty years from now." She said with a high volume.

"You could atleast tell me what I said the first time, that made her want to be with me." I pouted.

"Oh that? I can tell you that... I believe it was "Thank you for the food!" Or atleast thats what she always told me." Nashi said with uncertainty.

"Thats it! Thanks for the food?! I've probably said that to her so much already!"

"Thats what she told me and thats what I'm telling you." Nashi retorted.

"Awww man."

"So tell me Natsu where have you searched for my mother?" Nashi asked.

"I don't know, everywhere."

"Really... You're hopeless." She sighed.

"What can't you see that I'm trying hard to find her. It's hard when you spend all your time looking for someone who might not even be there anymore." I let out.

"Idiot! If mom wasn't here I wouldn't be here!" Nashi yelled.

"Okay, what did we say. Calm down kid." I said trying to calm Nashi down.

"Shut up! If you truly were looking you would have already found mom!" She screamed.

Her words hit me hard. I was flaming with rage.

"How dare you! You know damn well that I have been searching for Lucy! It's not that easy to find someone who broke your heart!" I snapped.

Nashi stood up with tears at the brim of her eyes. "I am going to go clear my head." She left me alone in our booth.

That kid is troublesome just like her mother.

What am I saying?

I shook my head and looked out the window. I could see the trees pass by and I looked out at the horizon.

She's out there...

Later on

The train stopped at our destination and we made way to our hotel in silence.

I wanted to say sorry but my mouth could not form the words.

We got to the front desk and Nashi talked with the man at the front desk. She handed me a key and walked away.

I followed after her and she sighed.

"Look I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I'm just as worried as you are. Sure I know where mom is but... I can't tell you."

"I understand. I'm sorry for raising my voice to you." I apologised.

"It's okay just... Promise me next time you yell at me will be because you are parenting." She spoke.

I nodded my head and smiled. Nashi smiled back and it warmed my heart. She is so much like her. I can't doubt it anymore.

She really is our kid.

I felt a pang in my heart and it burned. I grabbed my chest and began breathing heavily.

Nashi looked at me with horror in her eyes.

"What's wrong old man?" She asked worried.

I couldn't speak the pain was just unbearable.

"Natsu?... Dad!" She cried.

Nashi's POV

All of a sudden my dad's face went pale and it terrified me. I knew it was going to happen.

I was still scared. He looked like death was clawing away at him. He looked all around him as if it was the last he was going to see.

He grabbed his chest as if he were trying to pull the pain out.

His eyes were morphing into that dark color that I never wanted to see again.

He stood up and looked at me with a grin.

"Well hello there child." He spoke.

I backed away from him and scowled.

"Is that a way a daughter should treat her father?" He teased.

"But you aren't my father." I stated.

"Oh... then who am I?" He teased tilting his head.

"Give me back my father."

"But why we are having fun aren't we?" He countered.

I barred my teeth together and he rolled his eyes.

"Very well then. But we shall meet again. After all. Soon my time will reign."

With those last words Natsu's eyes lightened and his body dropped to the floor.

I ran towards him hugging him tightly.

"Wake up!" I cried.

His eyes opened and he let out a gasp.

"What? What did he show you? What did you see?" I asked.

He looked and me with a shook expression.

"I... I know where she is... I saw her. I know where she is. I know how to find Lucy."
