Prologue Part II- The Kingdom of Minecraftia

Leaving Jerome for a while now, to the north of his mountain home, stood The Kingdom of Minecraftia, hated by the village of Wedgemore, and the Bacca Community, but we'll get to Wedgemore next time.

The kingdom was the most powerful, covering two lands with buildings and a big castle, owned by King Ross, Queen Sarah, and their son, Mitchell, or preferred by him, Mitch.

Now Mitch is only eight years old, like Jerome, and was right now playing with his stuffed diamond sword and hitting fake dummies. He was right now wearing a simple shirt and pants with normal white shoes and has messy brown hair and light brown eyes.

He wasn't those type of posh princes who would always go out and call their parents 'mother' or 'father', he has a distinct personality.

He would be kind, never selfish, like the personality of most of his friends, who in the future would want to be knights.

What Mitch is focused on, instead of focusing on being royal and learning on how to become kingly, he would always spend his time practicing how to use his sword.

Now, he has never touched a REAL sword, but he wishes he did.

Mitch's father is worried about him, not because he practices fighting, but he doesn't act, kingly, or, responsible.

He was expecting Mitch for being responsible, since most of his friends are, who focus on school and learn about history and get bits of what a prince learns, but Mitch doesn't pay attention to that.

Like for example, he isn't responsible, dignified, and doesn't have manners at all, well, not always.

He just asks like a normal child, but Mitch's father doesn't want him to act like that, he wants him to focus on being kingly.

King Ross can't imagine his son as king and not being responsible at all.

So he decided that today he would speak with him, spend time with him, for the first time.

So he sat up from his throne and made his way to Mitchell's room, who's door was closed.

He knocks on Mitch's door, and the door creaks open, with Mitch popping his head out of the room, "Hello?"

"Mitchell, we need to talk." King Ross says.

"Dad, I prefer Mitch, please." Mitch says going to his bed and sitting on it.

"Mitchell- er, Mitch, you have to say fath-" King Ross was about to finish his sentence, until he thought to himself, He's just a child, he's just a child.

Mitch raises his eyebrow, waiting for his father to finish his sentence.

"Nevermind that, anyway, can we talk, you know, father to son?" King Ross asks him.

Mitch's eyes widened slightly, he has never heard his father saying anything like that, like, wanting to talk to him? Every time Mitch wanted to talk with his father, he'd always get rejected with the same excuse, 'I'm busy right now Mitchell.'

"Wha-what about?" Mitch asks stuttering a little.

"Well, I've noticed that you've always been practicing on your fighting skills, so, I was wondering, if you wanted to practice fighting in the throne room?" King Ross asks him.

Mitch's spirits raised a little, but, the only reason he wasn't REALLY happy, was because, he's always wanted to go out into the forest, he never has gone there, and he was really curious about it.

"Mitchell, why the long face?" King Ross asked him, noticing his son's expression on his face.

"Well, it's just that, I was expecting to go out into the forest." Mitch admitted, twiddling his thumbs.

King Ross looked blankly at Mitch, he never imagined his son going out into the forest at all.

"Mitchell, look, the only reason I don't let you out is because, because of the baccas and that other village, and, we all are not really fond of each other right now." King Ross says patting Mitch on the back.

All of a sudden, curiosity struck Mitch, baccas, he has heard that subject in school, but they never explained further details, and another village? He never knew that.

Mitch hasn't thought about the world surrounding his large kingdom, he has always been focused on his "studies" and hanging out with friends.

"Why aren't we friends with baccas and, wait, there is a village?" Mitch asks. He was thinking about all the questions that formed in his head.

"Yes, another village, and, the reason we aren't fond of each other is, for, special reasons..." King Ross says, he didn't want to tell him until he was older.

"What are the reasons?" Mitch asks curiosity forming in his brown eyes.

"Well, they sometimes go to our area of hunting, and, we want all of us to live in peace, and share the forest." King Ross says, feeling bad that he lied to his own son, But it's for the best, he thought, for the best...

"Oh." Mitch said perplexed, why would they be mad if his father just wants peace. (A/N: Yes his father is a dirty lier)

"Anyway, we'll start tomorrow, sounds good to you?" King Ross says thinking about the busy things that he has to do today.

"Yeah...sure." Mitch answers still thinking about what his father just informed him.

"Alright then, see you tomorrow, I have many things to do." King Ross says standing up and leaving the room.

Mitch stood up and closed the door and laid flat on his back, looking up at the ceiling.

What his dad just told him didn't sound right, of course the other two villages would probably want peace, is there something his dad didn't tell him?

Mitch suddenly got an idea.

Why just practice here in his room, when he can just go out by himself into the woods?

The kingdom was easy to see in the distance, so it was of course going to be easy to go back.

Mitch suddenly got up and got out of his room, closing the door behind him.

He ran down the long stone spiral stairs and ran out of the two big wooden entrance doors, and out into the village.

He kept running, and suddenly he heard, "Hey Mitch! Where are you going?"

Mitch turned around and saw his friend Adam who was looking at him tilting his head.

"Oh uh, I was going, into the woods?" Mitch says unsurely.

"Mitch, you know we can't go there." Adam says.

"Oh, right...." Mitch says massaging his neck awkwardly.

"Hey, I won't tell, unless you bring me with you." Adam says smiling widely at him.

"Oh..." Mitch says looking at Adam.

He DID want to go alone, but wondered how it would be if he brought one of his friends along with him.

"Uh, sure, I'll explain along the way what I'm doing." Mitch says going toward the two large doors, leading to the outside.

"Wait Mitch! You know those doors are guarded." Adam says.

"Oh, yeah." Mitch says remembering.

"Here, follow me, I know a way." Adam says waving at Mitch to follow him.

Mitch began to follow, hoping that there was a way to get out. Adam ran behind the church, and pointed at a small hole in the stone wall.

"Perfect." Mitch muttered squeezing through.

Adam followed behind Mitch and stood looking at the stone wall.

"Wow..." Mitch managed to say looking at the large pine trees.

"Come on..." Mitch says going into the woods, with Adam following him right from behind

Author's Note

And so two other characters were introduced :D

The next update will be the last prologue, and onto the story

Reason why there are three part-prologue is because I don't want it to begin without a background story

It wouldn't make any sense

Well, to me anyway

So that's my excuse

I still have my goal for four votes so I can make the next chappy ^_^
