"For the last time, Millie is not a good candidate for sitting on a throne, especially if its Rossell's throne."

Blaise bit his lip in thought, but they were interrupted by Ingrid's little comment. They were outside of the castle, among it's steps. They were both waiting for Preston and Adam to stop talking in private. What they were talking about? Blaise didn't know, but he was thinking hard about it whatsoever.

"How? I don't see what the problem is." Blaise said, "Its not like its a large problem, or is it?"

Ingrid sighed and shook her head, "You don't understand, Blaise. The throne is made up of the hard skulls of the EnderDragons themselves. Only Notch permits the kings or The Advisor knights to sit on the throne."

Blaise's eyes widened. He didn't know this, and he was surprised by the sudden facts, "But, aren't the EnderDragons extinct? I mean, there are no more left in the realm of Minecraftia."

"Exactly, the throne was made years ago before you were born, by a blacksmith by the name of Holland Fumes, who was also the king's Advisor Knight. But back then, the king was just as ambitious as Rossell." Ingrid explained, her words were like a large parchment of paper filled with scribbled ink.

"So, it runs in the bloodline?" Blaise asked, his curiosity growing larger.

"Exactly, so Hughes family was always like this. It's a large surprise to see that Mitchell doesn't act the same way. But there's always Connor, we may never know if he acts like his father or not." Ingrid said.

Suddenly, Adam and Preston made their way back towards them.

Adam looked at Blaise, "Blaise, there is something we need you to do."

Blaise raised an eyebrow, "What would that be?"

Preston looked around, "Well, King Ross told us to search for Mitch and he wants you to come too."

Blaise's eyes widen, while Ingrid's eyes narrow. A quest, for him? Blaise would never imagine himself going on a quest. He was just an apprentice made for only using magic, he never had any experience so far with any type of weapon other than his magic and wits.

"Oh? Did King Ross suggest this? If so, then I'm not letting Blaise go." Ingrid said, making Blaise look at her in disbelief.

Adam looked at Ingrid, "We can't, he has to go. If the king ordered us to let him go with us, then Blaise goes with us."

"I don't trust King Rossell for a reason. And because of that, Blaise doesn't go." Ingrid continued, her hands were now on Blaise's shoulders. He tensed, but he glared up at her.

"Ingrid, come on. I know what's coming, and I won't be alone. If anything bad happens, then Preston and Adam will be there, if that's what you're fearing." Blaise said.

Ingrid frowned, "That's not what I'm fearing. What I'm fearing is, what problems the quest might cause if not done well."

Preston raised an eyebrow, "Problems? What problems? Is there something you're not telling us?"

Ingrid turned and glared at Preston, "Maybe if you unclogged your ears and widened your eyes then it'll seem very clear what you're falling for, boy. For a reason I'm not entirely sure if Blaise should go, and another reason is because he's going with you imbeciles."

Preston looked like he was going to retort, but Adam spoke instead, "Look, Ingrid. King Ross chose us to go for a reason. We know Mitch very well, and Blaise knows him too, and with his knowledge, we may be able to find him."

Ingrid looked at both Blaise and Adam, but she has a slight look of reluctance, "Alright then, but if something, anything happens to Blaise, I swear to you, I'll personally make sure you don't see the light of tomorrow."

Preston and Adam looked at each other with uncertainty, but they both nodded.

"It'll be fine, we'll make sure he won't get harmed." Preston said, putting his hand on Blaise's shoulder.

"You may proceed, and be careful." Ingrid said, although instead of her remark sounding like a concern, it sounded more like a warning.

"Come on Blaise, lets go. . ." Adam said, and started leading the way.

Preston's hand slid off of Blaise's shoulder, and followed Adam. Blaise began to follow them as well, but he couldn't help but feel a sudden pang of regret and nervousness. Its not that he didn't trust them, he just didn't expect King Ross to choose him as apart of the quest. It was, too good to be true. They passed the stone-made houses silently, passing by other villagers and people walking by. Blaise didn't personally know them, but by the look of it, they were all sad by Mitch's disappearance. He could guess it was because he would always stroll around and talk to different people, which Blaise could understand.

They headed towards the wall's entrance, which were guarded by two knights on two cobblestone guard towers which were connected to the large, front, wooden doors. Blaise gulped, he had never gone outside of the walls before, so he had no idea what it would be like, but suddenly, he halted along with Adam and Preston.

"What are your intentions for being here, Ser Preston, Ser Adam, boy." One of the knights said, looking down at them.

"With the permission of the king, we would like to go outside of the walls." Adam said, squinting up at the knight.

The knight's mouth gave a small, random twitch, "The king eh? Well, he had stated before that it was prohibited for us to let anybody leave."

Blaise's eyes narrowed, and he replied back, "Well, the king gave US permission, so we can go."

"Why would I believe any of you, what if its some sort of hoax?" The other knight stated.

Blaise could suddenly see Preston's impatience, "Do you not trust your own king? Or your own knights? If the king demands us to go, we go."

While everyone else argued, Blaise was thoughtful, he looked at the knights in thought, one of them looked back at him. Although he gave Blaise a weird look, Blaise kept looking at him, his eyes continuing and he had a small feeling of weakness, but he continued looking at him, especially his eyes. That is, until Blaise felt a small spark of connection, and he blinked, his mind blanking.

"Um, Rick, I think we should let these guys go ahead and leave. . ." The knight said, his eyes were now drowsy and distant. Blaise smirked, his spell worked.

"What? Redly, I thought you said-"

"Come on, I think it's a good idea, sorry, but I'm letting them go. I believe them." Redly continued, climbing down the tower and reaching the gates. He pushed them open, leaving the exit exposed. Adam and Preston looked at each other in surprise, but they shrugged.

Blaise gave the knight a nod, "Thank you for understanding, good day to you."

The knight nodded, and walked beside the door, waiting for them to leave so that he could close the door behind them. Adam, Preston, and Blaise proceeded, the door slowly closing behind them.

"I wonder what that was all about. . ." Preston said, looking back at the two doors in confusion.

Blaise smirked, "It's alright, it's all taken care of. If you need some necessary persuasion, then I'm right here behind you."

Adam shook his head and smirked at Blaise, "Ingrid sure taught you well, how much can you do that?"

Blaise had a thoughtful look on his face, and answered, "Well, as long as I'm not tired, and in one whole day, I can only use it once."

Preston whistled, "Must be hard, you should practice using the skill more often then."

Blaise shrugged, "Whatever. Anyway, we have to look for Mitch, right?"

Adam nodded, "Exactly, so keep your eyes open, he can be anywhere."

"Really? If it were so, he'd be the most stupid person I've ever met." Blaise said.

Preston rolled his eyes and grinned, "You've got that one right."

Blaise huffed, "Anyway, that's not what I meant. What I meant was, he can't still be running, he may have found somewhere to camp out for a short while, and if we find a place where it seems like a good place to enter, then we may find Mitch there."

Adam looked at Blaise blankly, "What of he did run off some more?"

"Then we continue searching anyway." Blaise said, shrugging, "There's nothing else to do, we have to find Mitch."

"I suppose you're right, come on, let's get moving." Preston said, quickening his pace and glancing around. Blaise caught up to him, and looked around the forest's tall trees, their sticks forming shadows down on them as they looked for Mitch.

The cold touch of the forest's breeze sent a shiver down Blaise's spine, making him huddle into his dark, leather cloak, which waved to the rhythm of the wind on his back. Blaise didn't understand why Adam and Preston walked on towards the breeze, paying no attention to the wind's ice cold touch. Were they so used to it? Well, Blaise surely wasn't. Warmth was more of his style, the way it comforted him was clearly unimaginable. People who shared the same opinion knew what he meant, like Ingrid.

Ingrid, Blaise thought in a small moment of realization. He remembered her words of warning. He didn't like that. Her warnings were very unclear. Even with the brain of a smart citizen and the mouth of a rude man, Blaise almost never understood what Ingrid meant when she let out random words. They were more like small drops of water from out of a spout, never letting it all fall down in an understandable flow.

"Guys, I found something." Adam said.

Blaise looked at him, raising an eyebrow, "Really? That quickly? Please don't just jump to assumptions."

"But, look at that mountain up there." Adam explained, his finger pointing at the nearest mountain. Blaise squinted his eyes at the mountain. It was a large structure, the stone made it look like it had a very rough surface and pointy edges. It sure looked like a hard climb, but it was a very large possibility that someone could be there.

"Not bad, let's look around it, we may find something there." Blaise said, unsure about the idea. He knew it wasn't bad, but the necessary climbing they may have to do if they find something made him nervous. Blaise was never very 'fond' of heights.

They continued forward, and they began to circle the mountain from a short distance, enough to see it from top to bottom. Blaise scanned the mountain's walls, his eyes examining the dark grey rocks, looking for a hole or an opening, or even a cave perhaps. Anything that looked like a place for a shelter, is what he was searching for. Just as Blaise had expected, he found an opening.

"Guys, I found something." Blaise said stiffly. Preston and Adam stopped, looking at Blaise for more directions. Blaise just pointed at the cave's opening, and their eyes followed.

"A cave, great." Preston muttered in an unamused way.

"That's not it, look at it closely. It seems to have a bit of lighting in it." Blaise continued, explaining his observations.

"Then that means, someone's in there." Adam said, looking up at the cave intently.

"Exactly," Blaise said, grinning widely.

"Let's just hope it's actually Mitch and not just some random outsider." Preston said, glaring up at the cave and walking towards the mountain's side, setting his hand and gripping the rock's edge tightly.

"STOP!" Someone said, her voice firm and serious.

Blaise turned around in alarm, and there stood a girl, or a woman, her hands gripped on a wooden bow, the other hand gripping firmly on her arrow. Preston and Adam turned around as well, breathless in sudden nervousness. The woman's face meant business, her long black hair waved along with the wind's breeze, and her dark brown, angry eyes had a small, little hint of purple, which surprised Blaise. He had never seen such an extraordinary eye color.

Blaise suddenly realized something, her arms were shaking, and it was either from the cold, or from the sudden realization that she was confronting two armed men and a boy.

"Move away from the mountain, and go away." She hissed, glaring at the three of them in seriousness and anger.

"What would you have to do with this, stranger?" Preston asked, moving away and slowly walking towards her, whom looked at Preston seriously, her grip remaining on the arrow and bow.

"You have no intentions here, go back to your precious little kingdom, you'll be much safer behind those walls, drinking some wine and sleeping around on your soft mattresses." She retorted, snorting.

Preston let out a growl of annoyance, "Really now? Where do you live? On the mud filled dirt, rotting in the snow and starving to death?"

"Stop it! Excuse me, Miss," Blaise said, breaking the fight, "What is it that you want? Our gold? Our possessions?"

She snorted once more, "I don't need any of your filth. Go back to where you belong, and we forget all of this. Poor you, trying to find a prince that fled by choice. I don't blame him, I would have left the kingdom ages ago."

Preston retorted something that Blaise did not catch. He was more focused on Adam, who looked at the woman in surprise. Something did not seem right, did Adam know her? Whatever happened, Blaise knew that Adam had to speak up.

"E-End?" Adam stuttered, looking at the her with eyes as wide as an owl's.

The woman looked at Adam in a peculiar way, "Adam?"

"You two know each other?" Blaise asked, looking at both of them in surprise.

"That doesn't matter right now," Preston interrupted, "What matters here is that this, End woman, knows about Mitch's disappearance. Who are you?"

End's gaze turned from anger to seriousness and a small hint of pride, "I am End, End Wedgestler, from what was once the village of Wedgemore."

Blaise was silent. He had heard about this village before, but he was not old enough to see it in person.

"Well then, End from 'Wedgemore'," Preston said, his mouth curling into a challenging grin,

"You're coming with us."
