End kept herself alerted of Mitch ever since he attacked, but he didn't seem so hostile as they walked around, but she couldn't be too sure. She stopped all of a sudden as she heard the crunching of leaves up ahead, and looked around. "What's wrong?" Adam asked looking at her.

"Shush." She replied in a harsh whisper, and spots a group of deer grazing at the tall grass. "Perfect." She muttered and took out a bow with an arrow.

"Oh! Can I kill it?" Jerome whispered excitedly.

"Sure, go ahead." End answered wanting a bit of entertainment. Quentin and Ty looked at each other, and knew End wouldn't have said anything like that unless she was looking for a bit of amusement.

The small bacca got ahold of the axe, and ran at the deer swinging his axe wildly and yelling, "ULULULULU!" End couldn't help but laugh. The deer suddenly looked up and ran away quickly, before Jerome could even touch one of them. He suddenly stopped and pouted.

"That right there, is NOT how you hunt." End explained in between laughter.

"You did that on PURPOSE?!" Jerome exclaimed turning red with embarrassment.

"I just wanted an example of doing the opposite of hunting." End explained getting the axe Jerome was holding. She went up to the herd slowly and quietly, and threw her axe at one deer, who collapsed to the floor in mere seconds, with the rest of the herd running away again. "THAT, is how you hunt." End said walking up to the deer.

Adam squeaked and closed his eyes as End took out the axe from the deer's dead body. Mitch rolled his eyes and said, "Adam don't be such a pansy."

"But, I've never seen anything get killed before." Adam protested opening his eyes hesitantly.

"Well too bad because it's part of life" End said getting the deer's meat, with Quentin and Ty helping her.

"Well I don't like it." Adam said frowning.

Mitch walked up to the dead deer's corpse, and asked, "So, can it be my turn?"

"Yeah sure, what weapon are you good with?" End asked putting different weapons on the floor, which were a sword, the axe covered in crimson colored blood, and a bow with arrows. Mitch crossed his arms and started thinking. He has not used any other weapon except a sword, but it wasn't a real one, but he also wanted to know what it felt like using a bow and an axe, it couldn't hurt to give it a try.

"Can I try all of them?" Mitch asked.

"Sure, go ahead." End said taking a step back.

End watched as Mitch first got ahold of a sword, and noticed that he struggled to swing it, but then started getting used to the feel of it. Mitch then walked slowly up to the herd, copying End's sneaky movements, and before the deer that he was focusing on could move, he stabbed it, which made it shriek in agony. Mitch nearly lost his grip on his sword because of the red blood which startled him, but swung at it again, and it fell to the floor.

Mitch looked down at the dead deer surprised, and looked at End, who nodded approvingly. "Good job, for a rookie." End said collecting the deer's meat. Mitch tried out the axe, and felt it being MUCH heavier than the sword, so he put it down immediately, and picked up the bow and an arrow instead.

He caught glimpse of the deer, and walked up to a nearby bush. End, Quentin, and Ty didn't say anything, they knew that Mitch knew what he was doing by now. Jerome and Adam sat back and watched Mitch closely. Mitch then aimed at the closest, yet not too close of a target, and as he shot, the arrow slipped out of his fingers and it floppily landed on the floor, making the herd run away once again because of the noise.

While Mitch growled in frustration, the others started laughing at his error. "Oh come on guys, it isn't as easy as it looks." Mitch complained picking up the arrow.

"Yeah, but let us have our little entertainment at least." Adam said in between laughter.

"You normally don't see anyone's arrow slip out of anyone's fingers before shooting." Quentin chuckled.

"Whatever." Mitch said going after the herd.

End watched him as he did the same thing he did earlier, but instead, the arrow didn't slip out of his fingers, and shot the deer in the neck. The other deer ran away, but the shot deer struggled to run, and with another arrow to the head, it fell, dead.

"Good job, now, Jerome, this time, don't make any ridiculous noises while chasing a deer, you'll scare it off." Quentin explained. Jerome nodded and got the axe once again, and crept up close to a deer, and threw the axe at it, nearly missing it, but the axe was stuck to it. Jerome jumped with excitement for his first kill.

"You do good." Ty said giving him a thumbs up. Jerome grinned as End walked to the deer and got the meat.

"Adam? Do you want to give it a try?" Quentin asked looking at the uncertain Adam.

"No, I don't think I want to, I'd rather wait 'till I'm older." Adam answers trying not to look embarrassed.

"Suit yourself." End answered shrugging, but Mitch knew Adam wanted to be a knight when he got older, Adam wasn't going anywhere if he couldn't even kill an animal.

"No Adam, you sir, are going to hunt." Mitch said handing Adam the sword. Everyone looked at Mitch questioningly, but they didn't interrupt. Adam looked down at the sword, and back up at Mitch, shaking his head.

"No, I don't want to, I'll feel bad..." Adam answered looking down.

"You want to be a kn-" Mitch stopped before he said anything else. If he said the word, 'knight', then he would get him and Adam dead, since those other kids are from villages, not the kingdom. Adam noticed what he was going to say, and looked at Mitch with wide eyes, as if he were saying, don't you DARE say knight. "You want to be a good fighter, don't you?" Mitch asked rephrasing the question.

"Well, yes, of course I do!" Adam answered, knowing what Mitch actually wanted to say.

"Well, you won't go anywhere if you can't even kill an animal." Mitch said crossing his arms.

Adam sighed and gripped the sword by it's handle. He walked up to where the here's location was, and didn't speak. Everyone else stood back and watched him silently. Adam started walking slower, sneakier, and quieter as he could. Before the target could even run away as it noticed how close Adam was, Adam swung at it and the blade made contact with the deer's neck, making it fall, dead.

Everyone cheered for him, just to give him a bit of encouragement, so that he would at least know that he should feel proud. Adam smiled with delight and Ty and Quentin both got to work collecting the meat.

"Well, now that I see how great you guys are with weapons, I don't think it would hurt to see how your battle skills are." End said smiling. Adam and Mitch both looked at each other grinning, this is exactly what they came out for! Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to go out after all.
