Bruce sighed and slammed his head onto the desk. he heard the sound of a chair scooting back before two well known warm arms wrapped around his waste and a body pressed against the back of his. a chin rested on his shoulder and kissed his neck.

"whats wrong?" Tony ask. Bruce sighed and leaned against him.

"this stupid thing will not work!" Bruce replied getting frustrated. Tony smiled.

"come on, maybe it's just you. not everybody can be lucky enough to go weeks without sleep like me." Tony teased leading him over to the lab couch. he layd down with Bruce as he muttered on and on about how the thing he was working on wouldn't work.

"Tony no I must get it ready before next week." Bruce whined trying to get back up. Tony held onto him tightly.

"nope we are going to sleep." Tony replied.

"TTTTTooonnnnnnyyyyy " Bruce whined. Tony held Bruce down tightly to the couch with him.

"your thing can wait a few hours. I've gone weeks without cuddles, and I want cuddles now!" Tony replied. Bruce normally knew better then to argue with Tony when he wanted so called 'cuddles', but right now he was super tired so he faught against Tony. if he didn't listen to Tony, he'd lock himself in a different room and work for weeks without end until Bruce managed to break in. eventually Tony let him go and stormed off up stairs. Bruce layd on the couch before figuring out what had happened and followed him upstairs.

"Tony come back." Bruce said. Bruce looked around for Tony in all the normal spots but couldn't find him. "Jarvis? where is he?" Bruce ask.

"sorry sir, he's requested I not tell you." Jarvis said.

"Jarvis, I don't have the patients to do this." Bruce sighed. Jarvis got silent. "I will hack you and make you tell me." Bruce said.

"he's in his secret room sir." Jarvis said.

"thanks J." Bruce said and headed for Tony.

"he's changed the codes again sir. password protected. I can't physically tell you." Jarvis said.

"a password protected password. thats lovely." Bruce muttered. he went off. he knocked on the door. "Tony. open the door." Bruce sighed.

"no." came Tony's muffled voice.

"love please? c'mon." Bruce said. he could hear the sound of Tony building. "c'mon Tony. please let me in. don't make me hack Jarvis again, you know how much I hate getting my ass kicked when I get done." Bruce said.

"no." Tony said.

"look I'm sorry Tony. you know I need to finish that project." Bruce said.

"you ignore me, I ignore you." Tony replied.

"I haven't been ignorin-" Bruce tried. Tony threw the door open looking pissed.

"you haven't even seen me in weeks. you've spent a month and a half locked away in that lab. you locked the door so I couldn't even get in. I let you have that time, I thought maybe I did something to make you angry, but you didn't come back. you want to be alone, fine. go lock yourself in the lab and be alone. I have things I can work on without you." Tony muttered. Bruce felt his shoulders droop. he knew Tony really didn't want to be alone, but when Bruce left him alone too long, sometimes he'd slip back into his old habits. he'd ignore everyone and build for weeks on end. he'd build and build and build until he collapsed from exhaust or someone stopped him.

"Tony, ple-" Bruce tried.

"no! go away!" Tony hissed. oh yeah, he was hurt. he was really upset.

"I love you Tony." Bruce said, that usually would fix it. Tony huffed.

"that's not going to work today. you always think you can just say those words and it'll fix everything, but not this time Bruce. normally it's just a week, a month a most. I can handle that, but five months Bruce. five months " Tony said. Bruce bowed his head.

"baby please?" Bruce ask. "please baby. I'm sorry. I won't do it again. I didn't realize how long it had been. please. I'll cuddle you and love on you as long as you want. baby, please? this is about more then just me not cuddling." Bruce ask.

"why?" Tony ask. "why did you just leave me waiting for you. we were supposed to go on a date weeks ago. I waited for three days! seventy-two hours Bruce! I waited seventy-two hours for you to show up! you never did! I waited and waited and waited for you, for a call, for something!! I called and called your cell phone, but you ignored me! I tried to get Jarvis tell you for me, he say's you told him you didn't care! do you Bruce? do you not care about me!?" Tony shouted in his face tearfully. "ha-have you stopped caring for me?" Tony whimpered. Bruces heart seemed to freeze. he quickly took the distraught man into his arms.

"n-no! I love you Tony! I always will! I-I've just been caught up in my work." Bruce said. Tony, crying softly into Bruces shoulder, clung to him. Bruce held him tightly. "shhhh. it's okay love. I've got you. I'm so sorry love. I'm so sorry." Bruce cooed gently. Tony cuddled closer. "I didn't mean to make you so upset love." Bruce sighed softly. Tony shoved him away glared at him. he shoved Bruce again.

"upset me? y-you didn't upset me! no! upsetting me would have been fine! you pissed me off! made me feel forgotten and lonely! made me wait ouside and beat on the door until you were so annoyed you finally let me into the fucking lab! made me hate you! but worst of all, you made me wait for our date then cry when you kept ignoring me! so no! you didn't upset me! we're passed upsetting me! we're weeks passed upsetting me! you've made me doubt every word you've ever said to me!" Tony cried.

"I'm sorry. Tony, please. I'm sorry." Bruce said. "forgive me? please?" Bruce ask. Tony turned away from him.

"I can't. I love you, but you're gonna have to wait until I calm down. you get to wait and see how long it takes me to finally not be too busy to even look at you. you get to wait until I decide you're worth my time again, because obviously, I wasn't worth your time." Tony glared, slamming the door shut and locking it again.
