**Scott POV**
Two months later

I've been in rehab for two months now. The doctors and consulars have said I've made a lot of progress and I can go home.

I can't wait to go back home to Kirstie and Rose. I miss them so much! She sends me pictures of Rose everyday and each day she looks more and more like me. It makes me happy that things are getting back to normal.

"Are you ready to go?" Kevin asks.

"Yeah. I got all my stuff packed. What about you?" I say.

"I've got all my stuff. Now let's get going so you can see everyone!" Kevin says cheerfully.

I check out and bid goodbyes to everyone as I leave and thank them for all they've done for me.

On the drive to the airport Kevin was busy texting someone and I got curious. He's never that into his phone. Who can he be talking to?

"Hey, Kev. Who you talking to?" I ask.

"Oh-umm, Mitch." He says.

"Umm. When you get home, things aren't going to be like they use to be." Kevin says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Mitch told me not to tell you now because he wants to explain everything to you, but just know that." He says with sorrow in his eyes.

**Mitch POV**
Things have changed around here these past two month. Not long after Scott left for rehab, Kirstie started to talk to this other guys. She won't give anyone in the house a straight answer to what's going on between her and this guys.

"Kirst! Are you coming with to pick up Scott?" I yell up the stairs to her.

"No! I'm going out to lunch with Jeremy." She yells back.

She walks down the stairs and all I can do is give her my little sassy look.

"What, Mitchell?" She asks.

"What is the status between you and this 'Jeremy' guy?" I ask.

"We're just friends." She says.

"Then if you guys are just friends, you have no reason to miss your little lunch date and come with us to pick up Scott." I say.

"I want to, but I'm scared." She admits.

"Why are you scared, queen?" I ask.

"Well, I'm happy I'm Scott got help and everything, but what if he doesn't want to get back together and we have to co-parent? I don't think I can go through what my mom went through with me." She says almost in tears.

"Kirst, look. Scott is crazy for you. Whenever I get an update on Scott from Kevin, he says Scott's always talking about you and how he can't wait to be home with you and Rose." I say trying to calm her down.

"I just want the family I've always dreamed of." She says.

"Scott got better so he can have that family with you." I say.

She gets up and walks to the door and then turns to look at me.

"Tell Scott I'll see him tonight at his welcome home party." She says before walking out the door.

I pick up Rose's carrier and buckle her in the car and just look at Kirstie sitting in her car on the phone.

This Jeremy is something more than just a friend if she's acting like this.
