**Kirstie POV**
my name is Kirstin but people call me Kirstie. I'm a very happy and bubbly person. I thought I had it all. A great family that supports me. An amazing singing and acting career. A good relationship with a fellow singer named Scott Hoying. I thought it was all perfect.

But I was sadly mistaken.

I got pregnant with my first child and Scott is the father. The day came when my water broke and I immediately called Scott for him to come to the hospital and he said he was on his way.

He never showed up.

I went through labor and the delivery completely by myself since my mother couldn't be there and my best friend, Mitch Grassi, was away filming a movie.

I had a beautiful baby girl and I named her Rose Gold. I didn't know if I should give her her fathers last name but I did anyways.

I was expecting maybe he would show up after I texted him and told him.

But he never did.

When the time came to leave the hospital, my mother came up from Texas to help me with the baby for the next few months.

As soon as I got home, I tried to text and call Scott with no success of getting a hold of him. Then finally he called back.

"Hello?" I say answering the phone.

"Yeah what did you need?" He asks.

"I just had your child. I figured you'd want to be here with us. You do live here after all." I say.

"Yeah I'm sorry I wasn't there. I'll be home later." He says.

"Okay we'll be waiting for you." I say.

We bid our goodbyes and hang up.

I hope he shows up.

**Scott POV**
Kirstie keeps calling me nonstop. I thought she would've got the hint when I didn't show up to the birth of our daughter.

I don't want to be with her anymore and I'm certainly not ready for a child.

I'm 24! I have a successful singing career and things to do instead of being tied down with a wife and a child.

I finally called her back and I was going to tell her I was leaving then but she said she missed me and how the baby looks like me and I didn't have the heart to break up with her over the phone.

So later when I go home I'm going to pack my stuff and leave after I tell her.

I'm just not ready for all of this yet.
