EPILOGUE:
VALERIE HEARD the door of her side of the car open as she awoke to the sound of seagulls make way with their call. Dylan stood before her and offered his hand. On the outside the older man was smiling, but on the inside he was screaming at God and himself, hoping that this plan would work. Of course, he had faith in the man above, and he knew that his Heavenly Father wouldn't let him down.
"Where are we?" Valerie asked as soon as she got out of the now turned off vehicle.
Dylan wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling his wife close. "Welcome to Clam Beach." he said, smiling. Valerie looked up at the man who she was married to, not understanding what was going on.
"Wow," she replied. "it's gorgeous." she was in awe as she stared at the ocean.
Dylan stood behind her now, his heart pumping with adrenaline and anxiety. He didn't know what to do, or say, next. The idea looked more romantic in his head than what was currently going on at the moment. With a quiet sigh leaving his lips, he smiled, then walked over to her; standing in front of his short, beautiful wife.
This was it --- here goes nothing.
"Valerie," he began, "I know this past month since you have been out of the hospital that it's hard to understand what's going on, and I know that I'm going to look crazy for doing this but," he got on one knee and pulled out a small, simple silver wedding band. "but I can't live without you. You really have affect on me. You have been the best thing that has come into my life, and even though I have said hurtful things in the past, I didn't mean them. Hell, when you were in the hospital I couldn't sleep. I would literally have to smell your pillow just because it smelled like you. You are. . ." he looked down and bit onto his lower lip, trying to find the words to say. "you are everything I could want, even if I didn't want you in the first place.
"I may not be perfect, but Valerie, I promise you that I will continue to protect you, continue to love you, and continue to be a part of your life forever." he smiled, then continued: "Will you marry me again?"
Valerie was struck with amazement. She wasn't expecting to have this man do something as spontaneous as this. Suddenly, as she stood in front of Dylan, everything came flooding back. How they met. . . Their first kiss. . The first time they held hands. . . Making love. . . Their wedding day. It all came crashing down like a tidal wave.
"Yes love!" she pulled him close, happy that she remembered everything. Dylan knew it too, and with that, he kissed her fair lips; slipping the promise ring on her ring finger. They then spent the day with each other; eating chocolate and playing kiss tag.

He gripped onto her hand tightly as the scent of sweat and the sound of moans filled the room. Dylan moved in against his wife, thrusting into her slowly as they were now feeling pleasure begin to emerge in their bodies. Valerie laid underneath him, shutting her eyes in sheer pleasure as she curled her toes; pleased that her husband made her feel this good.
She felt like she was floating on air, her mind fixated on colors. All she could see was gold and tints of red. She was in pure bliss.
"You like that, baby?" Dylan asked as he looked down at her adoringly. He continued to move against her, bucking his hips forward; causing his wife to yelp out in a pleasured cry as she gripped onto the sheets with her free hand. "Feel good?"
"Yes. . ." she whispered audibly for him to hear. ". . . You make feel so good, Daddy."
She arched her back as Dylan placed his very equipped tongue on her nipple; licking around the aurola. This drove Valerie over the edge with a few cries, and as she arched her back even higher with her husband's quick-paced thrusts, she felt herself tremble down below.
"You are so sexy," Dylan commented as the headboard banged against the wall behind them. "I think I'm going to cum with just you looking like that -- looking so vulnerable."
Valerie couldn't take it anymore. The pleasure sent a sharp shock on her wrists and ankles; her temples numbing out as she finally climaxed; the pit in her stomach pouring out as her juices came down.
"DYLAN!" she finally cried out. Dylan smirked as he saw his wife lazily open her eyes; a smile forming on her own lips. Soon after, Dylan climaxed after her; saying his wife's sweet name as he collapsed on top of her.
"I love you." he said, taking a deep breath and exhaling it afterward.
Valerie smiled at him warmly, her dimple showing. "I love you too, baby."
It's been a year since the accident, a year since Valerie had lost her memory, and it's been a year since she was back to her normal, goofy, 4'9" self. Dylan loved Valerie now more than ever.
If anything the accident helped make their relationship stronger. And Dylan wouldn't trade it for anything else. God has a way of working things out, and sometimes you have to go through the hard times in order to see the light seeping in.
And as the two love birds laid in bed, adoring each other beneath and above the sheets, they clutched onto each other tightly.
Never wanting to let go. . .
