うそつき。

As a person who was bullied, teased and ridiculed in the past, Sawada Tsunayoshi completely knew and understood pain like no other human being in existence before.

Graduating from high school with fairly average grades, Tsuna basically cried out in joy to any living deity out there who was listening to him. Thanking them that, yes, finally, after days, weeks, months and years of torture, he could finally leave and abandoned that hellhole they call a 'school'.

Being someone who didn't excel in either academics or sports (and the fact that he was shorter and girly looking than most boys), caused a lot of people to tease him to the point that they soon turned to bullying. And with bullying came a lot of bruises to bloom on his normally bruised-free skin.

Making sure to hide those said bruises from his mother became a daily, and mundane routine for him.

(How laughable he was. To call bullying a normal routine. It was pathetic

He was so, so useless in school - and in any activities, for that matter - that he earned the nickname 'no good Tsuna' from his peers and, not surprisingly, some of the faculty members. Main teacher to use the said name calling at him was his math teacher.

He was only able to graduate and not drop off school thanks to his mother (his sweet angel of a mother who wouldn't hurt a fly) and her encouragements of, "you can do it Tsu-kun!" or "Mama is so proud of you!"

But now that he was already a graduate from high-school, he needed to find an employable and steady job, something that would support him and his mother. His father's payment for the Sawada household wasn't nearly (and when he says nearly, he damn well means nearly) enough, and Nana was just a housewife.

Well, was.

Tsuna's mother did reassure him that she found a job, not too long ago, at a hotel (what his mother didn't tell him was that the first letter was spelt with an m instead of an h), saying that she was a cleaning maid there and that the money she earned in that place was the one she uses to pay their daily needs.

Again, Tsuna curses his bastard of a father to kingdom come for making his mother do what he was supposed to do to support what little there is of their family (seriously. They were only a family of three).

"Don't worry mama. I'll find a job that can support the both of us," Tsuna told his mother a month ago when Nana finished talking with her boss over the phone. They were settled in their narrow living room, with the brunet seething and glowering in hate when he saw how terribly, clearly uncomfortable his mother was talking with her overly-affectionate patron.

The sudden statement made Nana turn around, shocked and quickly shoot down the offer, "Oh my, Tsu-kun, you don't have to! No, really - don't give me that look! You still need to go to college to get your degree! Don't worry about mama! Mama can support the both of u-"

"No mama." Tsuna shook his head. " You're not supposed to work and stress yourself like this. I've made my decision," Tsuna stated firmly, eyes burning with resolve and determination. Nana stared frozen for a while but then sighed in defeat. No point arguing with my stubborn little son at this point, she fondly thought to herself.

"Fine Tsu-kun," she said. "But I'm still keeping my job until you find a stable one that can support the both of us, alright?" Nana said, giggling when her son flushed in embarrassment.

Really, her Tsu-kun was so adorable. It was truly a wonder for Nana how he was still a virgin.

"Mama!" Tsuna yelled and buried his head onto the table, attempting to hide his rapidly heating face. How could she just say  it so . . . so casually? It wasn't something you just blurted out of the norm like that!

Nana blinked. Once, twice, before an innocent smile formed on her already cherubic features. It was not a good sign at all.

"Ara? Did I say that out loud?"

"Mama!"

And so here he was. Sitting in his chair, his mac book placed on his lap, looking for a suitable job to support him and his mother. When three hours have already passed, Tsuna sighed in frustration.

"How the hell am I supposed to find a decent job!" Tsuna whined, ruffled his already disheveled locks, and collapsed on the floor, arms spread wide in defeat, as he contemplated on his next move.

When he couldn't think of anything, Tsuna lets out another frustrated huff.

Come to think of it, it's pretty sunny today . . . Tsuna thought when his mind lingered back to the weather reporter on TV. I wonder what kind of job is suitable for me . . . Tsuna pondered as he lets out another frustrated sigh.

It's not like . . . he would get hired instantly or anything (Duh. He was called 'No good Tsuna' for a reason). He was just tired working two part-time jobs, so a job with a balanced salary for once would be a nice change.

"Tsu-kun!" someone from outside his window called his name. Tsuna, knowing who it was, smiled. He crawled towards his window sill and looked down at the said caller from below.

"What is it, mama?" Nana smiled and inwardly cooed at the adorable sight of her Tsu-kun, tilting his head cutely while a smile was placed on his face (Meanwhile, struggling to push the thought of how her son was still a virgin to the deepest and darkest corner of her mind).

"Can you help mama plant these sunflowers Tsu-kun? I know you would love that," Nana said and smiled as her son beamed in happiness. She chuckled at how he nodded before the head disappeared and Nana heard a 'thud' inside her house. Nana giggled in amusement.

"Ara? Tsu-kun must've fallen down the stairs again," Nana thought—aloud—absentmindedly as she headed to the back of her house, remembering that there was laundry that needed to be hanged and dried.

Meanwhile, inside the house, Tsuna rubbed his aching head and pouted at the fact that, even if he was already a grow and certified adult, he still fell and tripped down the stairs (his clumsiness was truly something to behold). But remembering his reason for falling down in the first place, Tsuna quickly walked out of the house and headed towards the garden, grinning at seeing the seeds planted in the soil and proceeded to get the necessary equipment before gardening.

A few hours later, Tsuna was done.

Maybe I should be a gardener someday, Tsuna thought happily and giggled at his own antics as he walked towards his shed but then shrugged the ridiculous idea off.

"Nah . . . but," he trailed, smiling sadly as he opened the shed. "I do hope that I could own a flower shop . . . That would be a nice change."

Tsuna sighed as he closed the door.
