ChangMubs: hey everyone, ChangMubs here. I thought that I should invite the main characters.

Ilana: It's a pleasure to be here with you ChangMubs.

ChangMubs: Aw thanks Ilana.

Lance: (sarcastically) Yeah, it an honour to be here.

ChangMubs: you better watch your sarcasm, boy.

Lance: (rolls his eyes)

ChangMubs: Never mind. Octus, why can't you do the honour of giving a recap of Chapter four?

Octus: in the previous chapter, Lance decided to take MK out on a date just to cheer her up from the traumatic experience of the accident and the loss of her loved one. MK was experiencing some changes to her body for example: hearing voices in her head, her body feeling weak and her head pounding. After enjoying a wonderful time together, that's when Lance encountered Aisha Winters who so happened to be a human witch.

MK: So when am I going to find out that I'm a Galalunian witch?

ChangMubs: Soon my dear MK soon.

Lance: Or never.

ChangMubs: MK, TELL YOUR BOYFRIEND TO BACK OFF.

MK: (blushing) He's not my boyfriend

ChangMubs: yet.

Lance: (sighs)

ChangMubs: Lance why can't you do the disclaimer.

Lance: (rolls his eyes) ChangMubs doesn't own Sym bionic titan or the characters in it. She only owns the OCs and this stupid story. So please don't enjoy.

ChangMubs: (glares at him) You and your bloody sarcasm.

Lance: It was supposed to be bloody sarcastic.

ChangMubs: And my story is not stupid.

MK: Can't we just get on with the story.

ChangMubs: Not until that bastard apologises.

Everyone: Chang!

ChangMubs: alright. On with the story. Sheesh.

CHAPTER FIVE

'I am so ashamed of you.' Aisha told her daughter. 'You go out with some guy without telling me and asking for permission.'

'Why should you be bothered about my whereabouts?' MK asked.

'What if you get lost, kidnapped or even get raped by that bastard.' Aisha pointed out. 'Lance is not that type of guy. If you ask Kimmy, Tamia, Irma and Ava, they would say the same thing.' MK retaliated. 'Never Judge a book by its cover.' Aisha warned her. 'What do you know about him? You don't go to the same school with him.' MK reminded her. 'I just know.' Aisha pouted. MK sighed and said, 'Mama, you are no love expert. You are just a woman who SITS AROUND THE HOUSE LIKE A LUMP WATCHING SOAPIE OPERAS FOR A LIVING.'

'Excuse me young lady who feeds you and brothers? Who cooks and cleans the house? Who pays for your education? Yeah that's right, me.'

'As if, do you even bother yourself to get a job, huh? Most of the money and provisions for us come from Alan and Arnold who were working their butts off after papa died. Even Bobby contributed in helping us out and keeping this family together.'

'Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. Why should you care about that old dingbat anyway?'

'He made a promise to papa that he would take care of us before he died.'

'Aren't I taking care of you?'

'Actually, Alan and Arnold are doing that job for you.'

'I am your mother.'

'Oh really? Do you ever remember our birthdays; do you ever attend very special events that happen at school; DO YOU EVEN ACT LIKE A PARENT?'

'How dare you question my parenting skills?'

'You call not caring for your own children parenting skills?' MK raised her eyebrow. 'Do you have any idea how much pain I went through giving birth to you,' Aisha started. Oh boy, here it comes, she thought to her dismay. 'Do you have any idea how painful it is to give birth to a baby? Do you? I went through that same pain trying to push you and your brothers out of my body. I carried each of you for nine months.' Aisha told her. 'I know mama. This is the ten thousandth time you told me.' MK reminded her. 'Good and let that stay in mind. And I do not want you anywhere near that Lance bastard. He's a menace.' Aisha replied. 'You just met the guy, mama' MK pointed out. 'Promise me.' Aisha raised her voice. 'Fine I promise.' MK gave in. 'Good.' Aisha smiled and left. MK smirked and took out her hand that had her fingers crossed.

'Aisha Winters?' Ilana repeated slowly. 'Who is she?'

'She's MK's mother's sister. She and her sister Ariel are part of the heritage of the human witches.' 'How do you know her?' Ilana asked. 'I've met them when MK started going to military school.' Lance answered.

'So is Aisha MK's mother?'

'No, Ariel is MK's mother.' Lance told her. Ilana was stunned. 'Okay I'm confused. What's going on?' Ilana replied quite confused. 'I don't know but I have a feeling that it has Aisha written all over it.' Lance told her.

MK was taking out her books until Lance came to her direction. 'Hey.' Lance greeted her. 'Hi.' She looked at him. 'So what happened after I left?' Lance asked. 'You know, lectures which I don't pay attention to, arguing on who takes care of me and my brothers.' MK shrugged. 'What's her deal anyway?'

'She thinks she's the one taking care of her family and yet Alan and Arnold are the ones doing that for her. She doesn't even act like a parent. At least my aunt Ariel is better.'

'You're aunt Ariel?'

'Yeah, she was more like a mother than my mom. She really cared about me and my brothers. She was always there for us; she would take us to a lot of places. She was the best.' MK told him.

'What happened to her?' Lance asked

'She's at the hospital suffering from heart failure.' MK told him.

'Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.' Lance replied sympathetically.

'I just hope that she's okay.' MK said with a lot of worry. There was an awkward long silence. 'I was wondering if I could come over to Bobby's funeral.' Lance broke the silence. MK looked at him and said, 'Really?'

'Yeah, I mean want to be there. To support you.' Lance told her. MK's eyes widened. 'Is it okay with you?' Lance asked. 'It wouldn't be okay with my mom but with the rest of the family it would.' MK replied.

It was during lunch when MK was sitting with Kimmy, Tamia, Ava and Irma who were consulting their client. She wasn't paying attention to the conversation because of the voices in her head that were giving her a headache and made her feel weak. 'Hey, earth to MK. We have a client.' Tamia snapped her back to reality. 'Sorry. You were saying?' MK replied trying to be focused.

'I have an elder sister who is about 29 years old.' Said the client who name was Kathy.

'So what seems to be the problem?' Irma asked. 'She got engaged.' Kathy told them. 'I don't see anything wrong with that.' Ava replied. '

Yeah, you should be happy for her.' MK agreed with Ava. 'It is if it's someone you don't know.' Kathy replied paranoid. 'Okay, Kathy. Why can't you tell your sister to see us on Sunday? We should hear her view of the story.' Kimmy suggested. 'Good idea, she really needs some advice from you guys.' With that Kathy left. 'What's wrong sweetie, you were zoning out throughout the whole conversation.' Tamia asked MK. 'I was thinking how my mom annoyed me after my date.' MK told her. 'Did she give you the whole labour lecture again?' Kimmy asked.

'Yep.' MK replied. 'Speaking of your date, how was it.' Irma changed the topic. 'It was okay. We went to the arcade, amusement park and the Fruit shed.' MK told them. 'And then...' Ava replied waiting for an answer. 'He almost kissed me.'

'Oooooh.' The girls squealed. 'Until my mom interrupted the moment.' MK killed the vibe. 'Aw come on.' Tamia whined. 'They were so close.' Ava groaned. 'What's her deal anyway?' Kimmy asked. 'She thinks Lance is capable of raping me.' MK told them.

'What?' Tamia gasped.

'No way.' Ava said.

'Lance is not that type of guy.' Irma replied.

'That's what I told her.' MK confirmed.

'Don't mind that old hag says. It's your life not hers.' Kimmy put an arm around her shoulder. 'Well earlier today Lance asked if he could come to Bobby's funeral on Saturday.' MK told them. 'For real?' the girls exclaimed not believing what they were hearing. 'For real.' MK confirmed. 'Wow, I've never seen that side of Lance before.' Kimmy commented. 'Why is that?' MK asked. 'He seemed to be the type of guy who isolates himself and who has an "I don't care" attitude when I was observing him all the times I spend with Newton and Ilana.' Kimmy told her. 'But it seems that you are bringing a positive side of him.' Ava added. 'What makes you say that?' MK asked. 'Aren't you forgetting? Most guys who have bad personalities change if they found the girl they really love and care for.' Irma told her. 'True.' MK agreed with her.

After school, MK went to the hospital. She entered a room where she found a woman with brown hair and blue eyes lying in bed. 'Mary Kate.' She said. 'Hi, Aunt Ariel.' MK sat on a chair next to her bed. 'How has been your day at school?' She asked weakly. 'The usual stuff that happens there. Lessons, tests, people asking for advice on their relationships, me getting pushed around by Maeve.' MK shrugged. 'Did she push you around today, baby?' She asked. 'No,' MK shook her head 'She hadn't bothered to do anything for the last three days after Bobby died.'

'What made her not to?'

'I don't know. Maybe it's about what I said about Wesley.'

'What did you say about Wesley?'

'I told her that no matter how much she hurts me, Wesley isn't going to take back what he did.'

'It's good that you stood up against her.' Ariel gave a warm but weak smile. 'A lot of weird things had been happening to me lately.' MK told her. 'Weird things? Weird how?' She asked concerned. 'I've hearing voices in my head and feeling some hidden power inside me each and every time I get stressed or angry.' MK told her. 'Most of the times I would get headaches and feel weak.

' 'I'm sure that it isn't something major.' Ariel reassured her. 'I don't know aunt Ariel, it doesn't seem normal to me.' MK said 'Not after what I did to Maeve.'

'What did you do to her?'

'After I confronted her about Wesley, she kind of pushed my buttons down and I just so angry.'

'What did you do?'

'I kind of pushed her of balance but without touching her. It was more like I created a force with my hand. Kind of like magic.' MK told her. Ariel kept quiet. 'I think something is wrong with me.' MK said. Ariel took MK's Hand into hers and said, 'It's probably nothing. Maybe these things are happening because of your depression over Bobby's death.' 'Maybe you're right. I think I should rest.' MK sighed. 'Yes, after some rest you'll be fine.' Ariel smiled.

On Saturday, the Blackwaters family and most of the family members and friends of the Winters family were at the Sherman Central Cemetery. 'Robert "Bob" McClain was a friend, brother and father to us.' Alan started, 'It was a great loss to us all that we lost him in that car accident. He didn't get a chance to live his life to the fullest. Maybe we never realised how important he was until we lost him. Hopefully he's in a better place. We miss you Bobby. I miss you. Rest in peace.' After Alan's speech they proceeded in burying Bobby's coffin. MK was at the top of Bobby's grave crying her eyes out. Lance knelt beside and put a comforting arm around her. Later in the evening after the burial, there was a family gathering at MK's grandmother's mansion. 'That was a nice speech you gave about Bobby.' Aisha told Alan. 'Like you even cared about him.' Alan snorted. 'Hey lighten up. Even though I couldn't stand him doesn't mean I shouldn't care.' Aisha tried to touch him. 'Don't touch me.' He hissed and walked away. Aisha saw MK talking to Lance. That girl has some nerve to break her promise, she thought bitterly. 'Thank you so much for coming. You have no idea how much this means to me.' MK said. 'Like I said before; I wanna be there to support you.' Lance smirked. MK smiled and looked away. 'I don't mean to be rude but what was Bobby to you?' Lance asked. 'Bobby was my godfather but he seemed to be a father to me and my brothers. He made a promise to take care of us after my dad died.' MK told him. 'How did he get along with your mother?' Lance asked in an ironic way. 'He didn't. They'd get on each other's backs most of the times.' MK giggled at the thought of it but later frowned. 'Losing Bobby felt like losing my dad again.' MK looked away. 'I'm sorry.' Lance replied sympathetically. Lance notice MK's necklace that had the shape of the moon. 'Nice necklace.' Lance commented. 'Actually this used to be my papa's amulet. He gave it to me before he died.' MK said with a frown. 'It's all that I have left of him.' 'Mary Katherine!' Aisha shouted. 'Oh no,' MK said to her dismay. 'You have some nerve to break your promise, young lady.' Aisha yelled at her. 'Mama, I'm 17 not 13.' MK told her.

'You are not 18. So you still do what I say.' Aisha shouted.

'I don't care. You do not choose which guy I should be with.' MK retorted. Aisha slapped MK across the face causing MK to fall off balance. Lance caught her before she fell down and glared at Aisha. 'I have had it you disrespecting me.' Aisha yelled at her. 'What's with all the commotion here?' Asked a woman about 60 years of age whose name was Eldora. 'She slapped MK.' Lance told her. The woman gave her a hard look. 'How dare you?' she yelled.

'Nana, don't.' MK said trying to reduce the commotion.

'I am her mother. I have the right to discipline her.' Aisha yelled back. 'Stop lying to yourself.' Eldora spat. MK was shocked.

'W-w-what are you talking about.' MK asked bewildered. 'I have been keeping this secret from you ever since that accident 4 years ago.' Eldora gave her a sad smile 'This disgraceful woman isn't your mother.' Those words echoed inside her head. 'What?' She whispered. 'Ariel is your real mother.' She told MK. MK turned to Aisha and asked, 'Is this true?' Aisha looked away and said 'It's true.' 'Why can't you tell her what happened.' Eldora said. 'All I ever wanted was to be a mother. I've dreamt about it ever since I was 18,' Aisha started, 'But I am barren. I can never have babies. That's why my husband, Darren left me. When I learned that my "little Ms perfect" sister Ari had a family of five kids, I knew that I could get the chance but I couldn't. Elijah and Ariel were just too over protective towards their children. So I had to do something. I plotted to cause a little accident to their daughter that would be very major.

'My plan worked and they went through the conditions on helping. I got what I wanted, Ariel left her family, I became the mother of 5 beautiful children and Elijah became my husband. But my children were just too close to their papa than to their mama, so I killed him in cold blood. I also did the same with Bobby.' Aisha finished. MK was now beyond shocked. 'That's the whole truth.' Aisha looked away. MK shook her head.

'Oh you don't believe me? Ask your brothers.' Aisha pointed at the boys. '

You knew!' She yelled at them. 'We swore not to tell you.' Alan chastised. MK turned her attention back to Aisha. 'Not caring for us, not taking care of us, not providing for us, your cheap labour lectures, your lame rules.' MK spat. 'What? Don't all mothers do those kinds of things?' Aisha defended herself. 'It makes sense now. YOU WERE NEVER EXPERIENCED WITH RAISING CHILDREN.' MK yelled on top of her voice. Everyone was shocked at MK's fiery. 'You were the one responsible for that accident. I almost drowned just because I was too close to Bobby.'

'I didn't know that you were with him. I didn't intend to hurt you.' Aisha retorted. 'Aunt Ariel is in the hospital suffering for a heavy heart because you too us away from her. She's getting weaker and weaker every day.'

'Oh why should I care about that good for nothing of a sister of mine? Ever since we were growing up, she was better than me in everything. She always got a lot of attention and everyone favoured her more than me. Your pappy said that Ariel was born lucky whilst I was lucky to be born.'

'So all this was just because you were jealous?'

'Yes, I was sick and tired of being the odd one out, the imperfection child, an abomination.' Aisha yelled.

'Maybe you are an abomination. You've already proven yourself a disgrace to this family.' MK spat. Everything started shaking.

'You're lucky that I didn't kill you when your nana told you the truth.' Aisha retorted. 'But I am not lucky to have you as a relative.' MK yelled. 'You took everything away from me.' Everything in the house started shaking out of control. 'What is going on?' Ilana asked Newton. 'I'm detecting so energy building inside MK.' Newton confirmed. 'Bobby, Papa, Aunt Ariel. You took them all away from me.' MK's eyes were now glowing white. Now everything was now flying around and the ground started shaking. Aisha was now frightened. 'MK, stop.' Lance tried to touch her. 'Leave. Me. Alone.' MK said in an alto voice as she created created a force that knocked Lance off balance. 'Nana, do something before MK loses control over her powers.' Arnold shouted. Eldora rushed to MK and placed her fingers on MK's forehead. MK screamed in pain and lost consciousness. 'What did you do to her?' Lance half yelled at Eldora.

'It's okay. I put her mind to sleep.' Eldora reassured him.

'Her powers are far much stronger than before.' Wesley said.

'Her powers are too strong for an ordinary Galalunian witch.'

Newton explained. 'What do you mean?' Ilana asked. 'She's not just a Galalunian witch. She's a Sage.' Newton told her. 'Since she's still at a young age, she can't channel a lot of energy.' 'What happens if she does?' Ilana asked. 'She'll die.' Was Newton's short answer. 'We as human witches are unable to train her to control and conceal her power because it's too risky. If only her father Elijah was still alive. He would have helped her because he was a Sage before her.' Eldora told them. 'And not to forget to have control over her emotions because of what had transpired a few minutes ago. But for now she needs rest.'

'By the time she wakes up, she'll probably hate us.' Alan looked down. 'Don't be hard on yourselves. You did all you could to protect her. I'm sure she'll understand.' Eldora reassured them. Eldora turned to Aisha and said, 'Take that disgraceful cow were she belongs.' Two men took Aisha out of the house. 'We'll take MK home.' Louis said. 'I'm coming with you.' Lance said. 'Thank you.' Arnold said with a smile. Lance carried MK bridal style. Louis noticed Lance's watch. I've seen that kind of watch before. Reminds me of the ones that the Galalunian military wears that active their Minus armours. He thought until it hit him. Unless it is. MK's boyfriend wore that watch all the time. This guy has to be MK's boyfriend. I may need to explain to him straight about the matter.

'MK's is sleeping.' Lance told Louis. 'Good.' Louis sighed.

'I should get going.' Lance turned to leave. 'Wait I need to talk to you.' Louis stopped him.

'What?' Lance looked at him. 'I know you.' Louis said. 'You don't know me that well.' Lance said as he was leaving. 'I know that you and MK were friends ever since you were kids and that you lost your father 2 years after we got banished from Galaluna.' Louis told him. Lance stopped dead in his tracks. 'Your father was Professor Edward. He disappeared when he was testing his latest invention which was called the Rift gate. Our father and your father used to work together.' Louis smirked. Lance looked at him. 'I know you.' Louis smirked more.

ChangMubs: Aaaaaaaaand I am done. Woo. This chapter was longer than I thought.

Ilana: Indeed it was.

MK: so I still don't know that I'm a witch?

Newton: For the record yes.

ChangMubs: (glares at him.) Dare call my story stupid and I will slap you with something harder than this ruler of mine.
