No one's POV

Upon hearing 5 years from Gauri, Annie just sat quietly, thinking of something. Just then, Anika and Shivaay's parents enter the room. Shivaay, Gauri and Om freaked out. Jhanvi and Mrs.Malhotra went ahead and sat next to Annie/Anika. ShivOmRi got a little sceptical about what's going to happen and stood together quietly just observing.

'Anika, beta, how are you?', Jhanvi asked her while patting her hair.

'I'm fine now Aunty! Nothing happened. Don't worry! You too Mom! I'm fine!', Annie reassured them speaking in Anika's tone.

'But why did you faint all of the sudden beta?', Tej asked her further.

'How am I supposed to know?, Annie thought out loud.

'Huh?', Everyone exclaimed as Anika never once asked back like this to a questioned forwarded towards her.

'I mean, I really don't know Uncle! But I'm good now. Dr.Gauri tell them na!', she said to Gauri.

Anika's mother now became doubtful.

'Anika, since when you began calling Gauri, Dr.Gauri instead of Bhabhi? Huh?', Mrs. Malhotra reprimanded her.

'Oh bete ki! Om and Gauri are married???', she thought to herself. Not making the same mistake she made earlier.

'Errr...', Annie looked at Om for help but he was also stuck himself.

'Woh actually Aunty, I told her myself a little while ago to call me either just Gauri or Dr.Gauri as I and Om are no longer married you see!', she stated bitterly looking at Om. One kind of guilty and sadness rushed through Om's vein but he can't say anything as Gauri was just stating the facts.

'Yaa! Exactly! Since they're divorced, Gauri Bhabhi told me to call her either Gauri or Dr.Gauri but calling her just Gauri wouldn't be that respectful right? So I decided to call her Dr.Gauri! Right!', she explained further earning a facepalm from Gauri and Om but they just nodded when Mrs. Malhotra looked at them.

Mrs. Malhotra then checked her forehead for a temperature and brushed her hair looking for an injury on her head.

'Anika? Are you hurt somewhere? Are you really feeling good beta? Why are you talking this much all of the sudden?', Mrs.Malhotra questioned her.

'Now if Anika has turned mute in these 5 years, what am I supposed to do?', Annie thought to herself and fidgeted the hem of the blanket thinking.

'Harey Aunty, she always talks a lot when she's with me!', Shivaay stepped in now.

'Yeah! Even with me, she always talks like this! Don't you know Mrs.Malhotra?' , Jhanvi exclaimed.

'How would she know if all that she cared about is business!', Om thought to himself.

'That's good then! Well, are you all hungry? I'm starving! Mrs.Oberoi come let's get something to eat. You guys can change into your casuals and come down for dinner. Om, give any of your shirt to Shivaay okay?', Mrs.Malhotra instructed them and the elders left the room.

'You got married to Dr.Gauri and divorced her as well! What's wrong with you Om?', Annie yelped as soon as the elders left.

'There's no point talking about all of this. It's the past. Now let's get you out of this lehenga which you were hell angry on a few moments ago! Shivaay you go with Om. We will meet downstairs in a while. And yes! If possible, keep your fists away from each other's face!', Gauri instructed them.

Om and Shivaay left Anika's room quietly. Annie on the other hand was smiling sheepishly at Gauri hoping she'll give her some answers but Gauri paid no heed to her and began taking out clothes for Annie and herself.

'They're gone! You can tell now Dr.Gauri! How did it happen between you and Om. I mean I remember noticing a spark between you both when we met but what really happened that you guys had to divorce each other?', Annie asked her.

'Annie, the past can't be changed by talking about it! Only amendments can be done is in the present and future. Whatever between me and Om has ended. Now it's time to focus on you and Anika. Here's your dress. Change into this!', Gauri said as she hands over a simple pink tops with jeans.

Annie took it from her and complied silently while cooking up plans to know about OmRi in her head.

On the other hand, Om and Shivaay were just silently walking downstairs after changing into their casuals. Both of them were still in a shock.

'So you were married to your sister's psychiatric!', Shivaay broke the silence.

Om turned to glare at Shivaay. He seriously wants to vent out all of his frustrations and anger on him but hey, Shivaay did nothing wrong and Gauri has asked them to not punch each other on their face.

'Seriously Shivaay? Annie is back, Anika is gone sleeping again. We don't know what the reason is and all you care about is my relationship status with Gauri?', Om asked back sarcastically.

'Well, actually, there's nothing we can do about Annie unless we get to talk to Anika. As far as I could remember, we are still unaware of the reason Annie showed up right?', Shivaay stated the fact. The last five years was certainly a hard one on Shivaay. He's learnt a lot of lessons including making a cool headed judgement on anything.

'Okay! For once, I agree that you're right! But how are we going to bring Anika back?', Om questioned.

'The same way you brought her back the last time! Hypnotizing! Duh!', Shivaay said with a tinge of sarcasm in his voice.

'For that, we will have to put Annie back into dormant. This wouldn't cure Anika. Annie will come back when Anika decides to shut herself down! I don't want to make the same mistake again!', Om said with a strong determination.

'Alright! Let's grab something to eat first! We will talk about this further when we finished dinner', Shivaay suggested.

They all then had a rather silent dinner despite Annie being present there as Mr.Malhotra wouldn't have anyone talking while having their food. In spite of the quiet surrounding, four minds were having dozens of questions running through their mind. Annie was thinking about OmRi and what happened between them in addition to what is Shivaay and his family are doing here. Om was thinking about Anika and Gauri as well. Shivaay was just thinking about Anika and all the things she had said to him. Gauri on the other hand was thinking of a permanent solution to Anika's DID. After dinner, Mrs.Malhotra requested the Oberoi's and Gauri to stayback as it was very late and the weather wasn't so good for a long travel. The Oberoi's agreed after a little persuasion but Gauri didn't.

'I'm really very sorry Aunty, but I have to go back!', she apologized as she dashed towards the main entrance.

'I'll just drop her and come!', Om stated as he rushed behind Gauri.

'Anika, please show the third guestroom upstairs for Shivaay beta! I'm sure you guys might have things to talk about but remember to be on bed by 11. Okay?', Mrs.Malhotra asked her.

'Sure Mom!', Annie replied as her face instantly brightens up.

Annie and Shivaay walked up to the guestroom. Annie was exploding in happiness to be finally able to spend some time alone with Shivaay ever since she emerged but Shivaay on the other hand, was rather confused. As soon as they entered the room, Annie pulled Shivaay into a deep hug. Although reluctant, Shivaay hugged her back.

'Aaahh! How much I missed you Billu!', she whispered.

Slowly, while being in the hug, Annie pushed Shivaay to the bed and made him sit on it. She sat on his lap sideways and began nibbling his earlobes passionately. Shivaay's hands travelled up to her waist, holding her. He wasn't doing anything but receiving the pleasure that she was giving him although it was making him feel guilty. 

She then cupped his face and encircled her legs around his waist as she went in to place her lips on his. She started it of as a slow kiss, ever lightly sucking his lower lip. He wasn't responding back to her which annoyed her. She then broke the kiss to look at him. He was rather confused and wasn't saying anything. She cupped his face to make him meet her gaze.

'I love you, Shivaay! And I need you!', she whispered seductively.

That one sentence was enough to stir something in Shivaay. He wasn't at all ready to resist this kind of temptation. He immediately grabbed her petite waist pulling her closer into him and joined his lips with her luscious ones. Her hands were pulling him closer by his neck and hair. They were reigniting the romance which ended 5 years ago. Slowly but surely, they were getting lost in each other's flavour like they've always been.

They broke the kiss when both were running out of breath and joined their foreheads together as they caught up with the oxygen they lacked the past few minutes. Annie then went ahead to drop wet kisses on his neck, jawline and began to unbutton Shivaay's shirt when realization hits him hard. Shivaay got up right away and pushed Annie away from him to the bed.

'What happened Shivaay?', she asked in shock.

'Nothing Annie! I'm just tired! I need sleep. Can we talk tomorrow?', he requested.

'SURE! I would love to but I have no idea if I'll be awake tomorrow or not', she expressed sadly with teary eyes.

This somewhat made Shivaay guilty. The last thing he wants to do is to hurt her. He wants her more than anything but it isn't right. He would have selfishly made love with Annie tonight if he was the same Shivaay five years ago. But he's changed now. He knows about Anika now. No matter what one says, it is still Anika's body and he can't touch her without her permission. It is wrong. He then sat next to Annie on the bed but prevented her from touching him. Just then, her eyes fell on the watch he was wearing. She recognised it right away and get eyes gleamed.

'Why do you still have the watch?', she asked with teary eyes.

'It's the only thing you got me!', he replied.

'Is that an engagement ring?', she asked again.

His engagement with Anika played in his mind. Her smiles and talks flashed through his mind. Her sparkling eyes with a glimmer of hope as she looks at him came. Everything including when she passed out in his arms. All he could do was just nod to Annie's question.

'With whom did you get enganged?', she asked further.

Shivaay opened his mouth for a couple of times but couldn't manage to answer her. In the end, he picked her left hand up and pointed towards the engagement ring he placed on Anika's finger a couple of hours ago. Annie recognised that they are couple rings right away and smiled sadly.

'You got engaged to Anika?', she asked hoping to hear a NO.

But, Shivaay just nodded yes, leaving her even more upset. She did ask him to get another woman but never once she thought that the other woman would be the woman she co-existed in. Some weird emotions were stirred up in her. She's not supposed to feel this way but she is feeling very bad and hurt. Shivaay on the other hand was just quiet. He was rather still in a trance at the sudden change of events. He doubted has he moved on from Annie or not? Even if he has moved on, what importance does Anika holds in his life. What does she mean to him?

PRECAP : Anika woke up with a heavy head and was about to collapse when a strong pair of arms held her in the right moment.

'Shivaay?', she exclaimed surprisedly.

'Are you okay Annie?', he asked her.

Anika jolted his hand away upon hearing the name Annie and looked at him sternly as she said, 'I'm Anika! Not Annie!'.

P.S. Guys, do you want to know what happened to Rikara??? Like in a little detail, not completely. Or should I just go ahead with Shiv-Annie-Ani????
