Vrishti did not intend to get so attached to this stranger but somehow she did. She knew he had his exams and would be excessively occupied with it but she was not ready to be an understanding friend. She was tired of being that, an understanding friend! She didn't care if it would ruin what was going on.

She wasn't expecting him to send her a voice note but he did. A little something happened to her heart but she brushed that away. Probably a friend cared and it felt good to her, for once. She connected her earphones and played the received file with a bit of jitter in the pit of her stomach she didn't give any attention to.

I know that's not good enough reason to be so occupied for you, but with two internships, exams and other stuff, it was hard for me to think of anything.

Vrishti had a small smile on her face all the while playing the voice notes. She played it for more than once (and it was for her to know how many times was that). He had a very soft voice, soft enough to make her sleepy. His apology felt genuine and in no time he was forgiven. She was so easy to be friends with but no one even gave that to her. Now that he was here to show what friends looked like, her heart was only warm for him.

Avi was smiling to himself while he was looking intently at his phone screen. He had missed her so much. He was so busy with everything, he hardly had time to even look at his phone. The little time he had, he had to take care of Alpaca and catch on some sleep. Sometimes in the middle of the day he would have a thought of her, leaving him missing her some more.

But internship and running a company are two different things.

But take your time. Even after internship ends, spare time to visit them and be up to date.

Also, you'll get the idea if that company can be a place you can visit every day for the rest of your life.
