It was a moment of panic for Avi, sort of. Was she dating someone? She didn't tell him that. But more than that he was preparing to have a heartbroken person to tend to. And he was as ready as ever to help her out with this one, or anything.

How giving can you really be
Sometimes you can be the only one to give and you'll be okay with that idea. Sometimes you can be giving but giving away will make you feel like worthless. Like you are giving yourself away bit by bit but no one cares.

It hurts the most when you feel you are giving all of it but no one cares

What happened?

My best friend moved cities for her college and it's been months that she's apparently busy.
All I see is her is going to parties with faces I have no clue of and when it comes to me, she is busy?

Her words have started to impact Avi a lot more than he had anticipated. This whole rant was breaking his heart. He didn't know what he should tell her to help her so he let her speak her heart out. Maybe at this moment she only needed a listener.

Lol. It's true. Was 11 years worth nothing? She took less than 11 months to get over it.

Avi's chuckle was heard by his so called friends. They gave him a what-a-weirdo look before they went back to talking about absolutely nothing. Typical.

Nikhil saw his friend's billion dollar smile not leaving his face for quite some time now. He knew the reason behind it. He just hoped it ended well for him. That's all he ever wanted for him. His friend deserved that, for all the love he poured into the world that had not been that kind to him.

Do you not have classes? Why are you in canteen all the time?

Avi was shocked for a moment. Was she around? He perched on his chair to look around and inspect the whole of canteen but no one seemed like her.

Vrishti was rolling on her bed. She knew he didn't have classes at the time and he's usually found in the canteen with his rich snobby friend circle. She never liked them. Maybe they were the reason she didn't like him either. But that was not the case now.

She surely knew how to have fun. She could totally imagine him shocked and for some reason that was the most hilarious thing for her. The pain of a lost friend was long forgotten. With a loss came a gain to her and she was not going to trade that for anything, never.

What can I do if the veg cutlet of the canteen is so good.

Try it with un-toasted bread, a little bit of butter and ketchup. Best thing ever!
