Elena looked at Elijah not understanding why all of a sudden she didn't feel repulsed. She embraced him now warmly. All the sweet dear memories flooded back.

"I can't believe you are real!"- she whispered.

"I am... and...all of it was so very real too..."- he said now facing her again.

"I... how come I don't...ahm...smell your vampiric thing..."- she then said.

"I don't know...but that's good... or we are beamed away again?!"- Elijah said looking around. They were still in the hotel room.

"Liv!!"- Elena then uttered smiling a bit.

Her phone buzzed and Elena now looked at the message.

"You two have till midnight! The spell will be removed then. xoxo"

Elena eyes smiled tearing up.

"It's a spell... Liv spelled you...so I ....we can have a few hours together..."- Elena explained.

"What do you mean?!... is that why she took my blood?!"- he now realized what had happened.

"Not really...and yes... I wanted to know about you and why I was in all these different realities with you?!...huh... earlier...I am sorry... I just..."

"It's all right..."- Elijah said.

"You must understand why... anyway...it was all magic...as it is now?! "

"You have a gracious friend..."- Elijah than said.

"Oh...yes... but... how did you find me?"- Elena wanted to know.

Elijah now told her about Sophie and Jackson. She shared her knowledge of Tatia and Katerina.

"You know all?!"- he said with a heavy sigh.

"I do... "- Elena confirmed- "it is so confusing...were they real...I mean... do we live in all realities... and how come... Liv has to find out..."

"If it wasn't for this spell..."- he then said and Elena concluded-

"I would want to kill you?!... Yes!"- her eyes watered knowing that it was so, and when the spell wears off, she would want to do it, no matter what her heart would say.

"I am a hunter....born like this...can't beat the genetics...so... I don't understand all this..."- she now took his hand in hers.

"Oh...Elena...that means..."

"Yeah...we only have now.."- she said and kissed him. As they broke away from the kiss, Elena slowly pulled his jacket off of him.

"I have loved you...in my dreams..."- she said-" for such a long time...we've got tonight..."

He trailed with his fingers down her face.

"Yes...let's make it unforgettable..."- he said kissing her again. Then sweept her up in his arms and carried her to the bed.

Liv went to the ballroom, checking on Caroline, who seemed to have the best of her life as well.

"Good..."- Liv uttered. Then she went down to the hotel cellar.

In Mystic Falls, Rebekah and Sophie visited the private tomb of the Mikaelson family.

"See..."- Rebekah said as the entered the tomb. There was bits of witchcraft ingredients left behind.

"She was here..."- Sophie said picking up the remains- "she can't be far..."

"The one thing we have to be careful... mother often uses other bodies...so you really need to be careful..."

"Well... that's why I have you with me...your blood will help making sure we recognize her..."

"I can't wait to be face to face with her!"- Rebekah said- "let's do it!"

Sophie now took out the ingredients she needed for the recognition spell-

"Blood please-" she said to Rebekah who poured it on the dry herbs Sophie lit.

In New York. Liv looked at the watch. It was 11:30. She appeared at the Ball room giving Caroline a look that it was time to make a move.

"I have to go..."- she said to Klaus.

"Already...but I guess duty calls..."- he teased her.

"I really...had a great time...Nik..."

"Me too..."

She felt her werewolf tingles appear, and strangely all of a sudden she could smell his werewolf scent as well. She looked at him oddly, but seeing now Liv coming towards her, she muttered an apology and went away.

"Serioulsy... tonight of all nights, you and Elena had to find your...well she did...."

"What are you talking about?"-

"Tell you later...meet you in the sewers- you have began to change, haven't you?!"

"Yes..."- Caroline said angrily and now rushed to the cellars, so noone would see her turn.

Liv followed her hoping Elena would follow in a short while.

On the seventh floor of the hotel, Elena got dressed, tying her hair in a pony tail. She looked at the watch and then at Elijah.

"This is it..."- she said sighing a little. Time was running out and they were painfully aware that soon the spell would break and they would be standing on opposite sides.

He came up to her and without any unecedsary words simply pulled her in a lingering kiss.

"Maybe there will be a way...for us to be together one day..?!"- he said.

"One day..."- Elena said nodding- "One day..."

And before her heart ripped up completely, she walked swiftly out of the hotel room running as fast as she could. This night was a special gift, she would cherish forever.

Elijah sat down on the bed his eyes fixed on the clock on the wall. It was midnight.
