In New Orleans, Rebekah finished talking with Klaus and put the phone down.

"Anything new?"-Jackson asked as he plated the food he had cooked.

"No. But they have three powerful witches working on it. They will come with something, I am sure. Oh, this really looks good and smells divine. They talk about vampire hunger. I forgot this one is equally as bad."-Rebekah said as they sat down to eat.

"I can't even begin to imagine how it all feels for you again"

"One thing is for sure. I am still hungry all the time, and the other is annoying, because I am so slow now and that is infuriating, but everything else is still so very good."-she took a spoonful of the food.

Jackson looked at the blond still mesmerized with her and inside he felt grateful that she was all right and there with him.

In New York, Elijah was everything but all right. Klaus urged him to eat, but he just took water.

"You will make yourself sick. Eat something."

"I cannot. It has been 48 hours. She had nothing to drink or eat. She must be suffering a great deal"-Elijah said pacing up and down the room in Klaus' apartment.

"I will ask the witches to knock you out, if I don't do it myself. Sit down!!"
-Klaus raised his voice at his brother.

Caroline then walked in from the bedroom as she finished talking to her mother.

"Seriously, you two should go and have some sleep! Ok, this is not the first time Elena was kidnapped...she had been missing for days before and we found her. Liv always does. She will find her again. Don't forget that she is a special human. She is a hunter. She will be fine."

They both looked at her somewhat surprised at Caroline being so calm and assured.

But a positive voice was what Elijah needed.

In a cemetery on the other side of the city, in a place known as Blissville, Liv tried to locate Elena's whereabouts. There was great interference by the magic warlocks had placed there.

"Damn it"-Liv was mad-"it's not working. They have managed to cloack her well."

She nevertheless tried different spells over and over again.

In the tomb, Elena tried to keep her strength by floating into the meditative state. If the worse was to come she would not be entirely conscious of it.
In the other side of town, Elijah slipped into sleep as finally his human self now just couldn't go without sleep for a long time.

Caroline to meet Liv. Bonnie decided to return to Mystic Falls and try to connect with Nandi, the Original doppelganger.

The night was about to set and Caroline, together with Liv and Sophie returned home to talk a different strategy. The night was not safe as thr vampires would be out celebrating the demise of the hunter.

Caroline called Klaus asking him to meet her at Enzo's diner asking about Elijah.
"He is asleep. I am not going to wake him."
"Fine."- Caroline said-"see you"

Klaus walked out of the apartment slowly not to make too much noise.

"Elen..."- he heard Elijah mutter in his sleep just as he was about to close the door.
"Yeah, dream of her. You will always have a dream!"- Klaus slipped as he walked into the lift.

Dream sequence

Elijah walks to the gazebo where Elena was waiting for him.

"You are a little late!"- she smiles at him walking towards him.

"I apologize."- he smiles back and they kiss.
"I missed you!"- he said as they break away from the kiss running his fingers through her hair looking at her starry-eyed.
" I soo missed you!!"- Elena utters shining happiness as they are together again.
They hug holding each other firmly as if this was a goodbye of sorts.
"Remember that I love you, always!"- she whispers.
Then they break away and Elena gives him a token placing it in his hand.
Elijah looks at the token. A coat of arms is engraved in it with a pentagram.

Elijah suddenly woke up.
