Rishabh couldn't sleep at nights and all he could think about was Aadhya. He doesn't want to think about her but he doesn't know how he ends up thinking about her. He tried to relax himself saying that he was just curious about her but he knows it was not just the curiosity.

It was something more and he doesn't want to think about it.

He wonders how can someone can effect his life so much when he doesn't even know anything about her and it has been just 3 months she joined in the office.

He came to the office early today as he had some important work to do and he was even before Aadhya. She is the first one who comes to the office along with one or two other staff as she leaves early.

He shrugged off all the thoughts and tried to concentrate on his work. After sometime, he left his work and stood up. He went outside and roamed around the office.

While coming back to his cabin, he stopped at Aadhya's desk. He observed her desk which was plain just like her and he turned to leave when he got bumped into Aadhya who just arrived.

She stepped backwards with the sudden contact and was about to fall but Rishabh holds her from falling. She gasped looking at him and he balanced themselves by wrapping his arm around her waist.

Aadhya doesn't know what's happening but she felt different. She was never close to any boy in her life except her family and she doesn't know how to feel when a handsome boy is holding her.

Her body felt like fire in his arms and she was staring at his face while Rishabh felt like his heart strings has been pulled. He had been close to many girls but never he felt such an effect from any girl.

He looked into her eyes and he felt a familiar feeling looking at them. It's not like he had never seen her eyes but they were always empty and never held any emotion. She is looking at him intently with a strange emotion and he was lost in her eyes.

Suddenly, Aadhya was snapped out of her reverie and moved away from him making him want to pull her towards him but he didn't. He looked at her eyes and they were back like before empty.

" Sorry, I didn't see you." He said awkwardly.

" It's okay Sir, it's my mistake too.....By the way, what are doing so early here?" She asked him.

" I am working on the presentation for that important deal." He said walking into his cabin and she followed him.

" Sir, can I ask you something?" She hesitated.

" Yes, ofcourse." He said sitting in his chair.

" You have employees to do the work and you can order them to do presentations for you. Why do you stress yourself so much by doing everything for yourself?" She asked puzzled making him sigh.

" Do you think that these people who are here only for money will give their 100% in the presentation? No Aadhya, people here do work only for the namesake. They do their work for how much they are paid and just get out of here. They don't invest their time and hardwork for the welfare of the company." He said.

" Then why did you even hired such people?" She asked.

" I didn't hire them. They are here even before I came here and I can't remove them until their contacts are over and for that also I don't have the sole rights." He said.

" You are the CEO of the company, you have rights." She said and he laughed.

" This is not my company Aadhya. This company belongs to someone else who is not in a position to handle office affairs right now and I have only some part of shares on my name in this company. My dad has appointed me as CEO and gave the responsibility by telling me to take care of the company as my own. I am just doing my job." He said staring off into the distance.

All the while she just stared at him.

" If that boss or whoever comes back, will you leave?" She asked gulping the lump formed in her throat.

He looked at her frowning.

He never thought of it and looked away from her. It has been 9 months since he was looking after the company and he gave his whole time devoting himself to the company's welfare.

" I don't know, maybe.....it depends on the MD." He trailed off and her heart ached looking at his pained face.

" What do you think? Will I be there or not?" He asked her playfully.

" You will be there." She said smiling genuinely at him making him stare at her.

" Why do you think so?" He asked raising his brows at her.

" Only a fool would lose a gem like you." She replied honestly.

He felt warmth in his heart by listening to her words.

No one has ever said that to him.

"And also because I trust you." She said and went away leaving him speechless.

He felt like his heart has been exploded with happiness.

No one has ever trusted him or atleast he thought that till today.

But now he is feeling like he is at the top of the world. He is smiling like an idiot repeating her words in his mind again and again.

And suddenly he feels like she is the most important person of his life. Her trust is more important to him than anything else and he vowed to himself that he would never break her trust.

These new feelings didn't scare him like before but rather brought some excitement to him as he didn't stop smiling from the time she left his cabin.

Aadhya on the other hand didn't know how those words came out of her mouth but she was saying the truth. He really works very hard for the company which is not his and he knows that but still he is struggling for the upbringing of the company.

It wasn't easy, she knows what is the position of her company now. It was at the top when her father and brother were alive but now there is a downfall. With her family's death, there was fall in their shares and many companies cancelled their deals and projects that were associated with them. Many of the employees left the company too and remaining of them are working for namesake as Rishabh described them.

But Rishabh handled it all very well. Through his talent and mannerisms, he is winning many deals and projects. She herself saw how many times he stresses and struggles so that their presentations would be perfect.

She grimaced at the thought that he was thinking that he would be leaving when the actual boss comes back but no she wouldn't allow him to do that.

She saw him who was continuously working on the project and making everyone run in and out. She smiles thinking that he works hard but also makes everyone around work hard too.

She knocks on his cabin and went inside. He wasn't there and she thought he must be in rest room. She carefully kept the coffee she brought for him and went back to her desk.

Rishabh came back from restroom wiping his face with a towel. His head was aching badly and he went to wash his face.

As soon as he sat on his chair, an aroma of coffee had hit his nose and he looked on his desk to see a cup of coffee waiting for him. He frowned as he didn't ask anyone to bring him coffee and his thoughts went to Aadhya.

He picked the intercom and called her.

" Aadhya, thanks for the coffee." He said to her.

" It's okay sir, you needed it." She said and cut the call while he was stunned.

How did she even know that he needed coffee?

She is really beyond his understanding.

It's Sunday and Aadhya was sleeping. She couldn't sleep the whole night and the reason for that made her more sleepless. Every night she always struggles to sleep because she would get reminded of her lost family whenever she closes her eyes.

But today, she couldn't sleep because of Rishabh. His thoughts invaded her mind and wouldn't go away. So, like that she fell asleep at 4 in the morning and it's 11 am now. Aman was also sleeping soundly beside her and they both needed this sleep.

Her phone rang but she didn't wake up. It rang again and again making her groan. She huffed and picked up the call.

" Hello?" She said irritated.

" Still sleeping?" She heard and like a snap she sat on her bed stunned.

" Rishabh?" She said and he stilled.

She always calls him as Mr. Malhotra or Sir and hearing his name from her mouth for the first time made his heart skip a beat.

" Yes." He said and he heard her gasp loudly.

" You just woke up. Didn't you?" He asked her amused.

" Yeah sir, it's Sunday so......" She trailed off not knowing what to say.

" Aadhya, I want you to come to the office. Now." He said.

" What? But it's Sunday." She almost shouted at him and he had this urge to see her expression right now.

" Yeah, I know but we should finish this presentation by tomorrow and I need some help for this. So, I insist you to come." He said.

She wants to help him but she looked at Aman who was still sleeping and she can't leave him alone in the house  that too on Sunday.

" But Sir, I have someone whom I have to take care of.....I can't...." She tried to say but he cut her off.

" Bring them too with you....I will be waiting for you." He said and hung up.

And she looked at the phone in shock.

Aman to her office.

Will it be okay?

There will be questions from Rishabh.

Will she able to answer his questions?

She looked at the time and she doesn't have much time. She woke up Aman and freshened him up first. She gave him some toast and milk for breakfast and went to get ready.

It's not a working day, so she chose a comfortable salwar kameez to wear and went to shower. She got ready and went to eat something.

She packed some stuff for Aman like his drawing books, colour pencils, some games and both were ready to go. Aman was continuously asking her questions about where they were going and she answered him saying that she has some work in the office. Within no time they reached the office.

They entered into the office and Aman was excited looking around the office. She smiled looking at him and knocked on Rishabh door.

She entered into his cabin when she heard him say come in and looked at him who drowned himself in files and his laptop.

" Thanks for coming Aadhya. So firstly  I want you to check the statistic reports of the company which we are going to deal and tell me if any changes are needed." He said without looking at her.

" Ok Sir." She said and looked at Aman who was examining Rishabh.

"Who is he?" Rishabh heard a new whisper voice.

" He is my boss." He heard Aadhya's whisper voice.

" You have a boss!" Aman whisper yelled at her.

" Yes!" She whispered back.

" What's going on here?" Rishabh asked finally looking at them.

He was mesmerized to see her in Salwar kameez as she was looking simply beautiful and he was more than mesmerized to see a cute little chubby boy beside her.

" Oh! Whom do we have here?" Rishabh asked getting up from his seat.
