" Shaanu, I am so proud of you. You have been strong for yourself, for Aman and for the family. I am glad that I could be here for you on this day." Rishabh heard that guy say to her and saw him hugging her while standing a few feet away from them.

He clenched his jaw tightly in anger as he called her with nickname and he was hugging her.

" Thanks Rony, I was feeling so alone and I am happy that you are here with me today even though I have hurted you in the past." Rishabh heard her say and he froze.

She was feeling lonely.

And he wasn't there for her.

And the most shocking thing was that they shared some past.

His heart was thumping loudly in his chest thinking about their relationship with each other.

" No problem. I still love you....you know?" Rishabh heard.

That's it!

" Who the hell are you?" Rishabh asked in rage and both of them turned towards him stunned.

" Rishabh?" Aadhya whispered in shock.

" What?" Rishabh heard that guy ask.

" I asked who the hell are you?" Rishabh shouted this time making both of them flinch.

" Rishabh what are you doing here?" Aadhya asked.

" What are you doing here and who is he?" Rishabh asked her.

" I came to visit my family." She said.

" And what is he doing here?" He asked her.

" He is my friend." She said.

" Yeah right.....friends." Rishabh snorted.

" Rishabh....." Aadhya said sternly.

He looked at her angrily.

She looked at him angrily too.

" What are you doing here?" She asked glaring at him.

" I came here to be with you." He said and paused looking at her.

" But I guess my presence is not needed here. You already have someone with you." He said with hurt evident in his voice and eyes.

Aadhya frowned at him.

" What happened?" She asked him.

" Nothing. I guess I disturbed you both....sorry. Continue." Rishabh said making her more angry.

" What is your problem?" She asked angrily.

" My problem? You really want to know my problem?" He asked in rage.

" Yes." She gritted her teeth.

" My problem is that I confessed my love for you and you didn't even respond to it. I tried to stop you from leaving but you didn't stop and suddenly you didn't leave for god knows what reason. Now when I came here to be there with you, I see you in someone else arms who is confessing his love for you. Is he the reason you didn't leave?" He shouted.

Tears pricked in her eyes.

" What it has to do with you? I always see you with some or the other girl. Once it is Neetha and the other time it will be some Swathi. You are busy with them telling them how much you miss them and you can't handle when you see me with some friend." She shouted at him with rage.

He stood stunned in his place.

" So yesterday you saw me with Swathi and left the office without meeting me assuming whatever you wanted." He exclaimed angrily.

" Yes!" She exclaimed back angrily.

" Why?" He asked.

" It's my wish. I can do whatever I want." She replied.

" So now you want him?" He asked.

" What?" She scrunched her face in confusion.

" Look I will not tolerate you being with someone else other than me." He said.

" Are you kidding me? You can't stop me being with someone and moreover your assumptions are baseless and stupid. How can you even think about me like that? And the reason I didn't leave India is......" She stopped and looked at him who is in no state of mind to understand anything right now.

" Leave it....you won't believe even if I say the reason." She said turning away from him.

" Whatever might be the reason, you are here now and you will be with me from now onwards. Till now I have waited for you patiently because I don't want to rush you into anything you didn't want but now I am saying Aadhya.....you are mine and only mine and I will make you mine no matter what." He said seriously making her stun.

" Woah!"

They both heard and realised that they have audience who is watching them the whole time.

" What?"

Both of them shouted at him at the same time.

" No no continue.....it's too much  entertaining." Rony said looking at them curiously.

" Shut up Rony." Aadhya said and turned to Rishabh who was busy throwing daggers at Rony.

She rolled her eyes at his behaviour.

" Who are you?" Rishabh asked Rony.

" I am Rony.....I mean Raunat." Rony said amused.

" Who is Aadhya to you?" Rishabh asked gritting his teeth.

" Rishabh!" Aadhya exclaimed.

" I love her." Rony replied casually making Aadhya gasp.

Rishabh immediately grabbed his collar and pulled him towards him angrily.

" What did you say?" Rishabh asked clenching his jaw in anger.

" Rishabh leave him!" Aadhya said but he didn't listen.

" Look at me Rishabh." Aadhya said and he looked at her.

" Leave him." She said seriously and he left him.

" We were family friends. I used to love her but she didn't." Rony said and Rishabh cooled down a bit.

" But today I realised that I still feel for her. I am ready to marry her if she agrees." Rony said making Rishabh's blood boil and Aadhya shock.

Rishabh tried to pounce on him but Aadhya stepped between them. She pushed Rishabh away and turned towards Rony.

" What are you doing Rony?" She asked him sternly.

Rony bent and whispered something in Aadhya's ear making her gasp loudly which made Rishabh more angry. Rishabh pulled her towards him glaring at Rony.

" Stay away from her." Rishabh threatened angrily.

Rony only laughed at that which made Rishabh even more angry. Rony drove away in his car but not before winking at them to which Rishabh ran at the back of his car but stopped thinking that he has more important things to do.

He looked at Aadhya who was searching something in her bag and walked towards her.

" Not now Rishabh. I am in no mood to fight with you." She said without looking at him.

" Why you want to fight with me?" He asked with a straight face and she looked at him frowning.

" Why do you always fight with me? Why can't you just love me?" He asked bluntly which made her stun.

" Because every time I try to take a step ahead, you take a step back." She said.

" What?" He asked.

" Yes." She said.

" How?" He asked.

" The first time I thought of telling you about my feelings was when you came to know the truth about me. I wanted to confess the truth myself and tell you about my feelings also but that didn't happen because you didn't give me any chance to talk with you at that time. You avoided me." She said and tears pooled in her eyes.

" You know why I stayed back?" She asked him and he looked painfully at her tears but he was curious too as he always wondered about the reason.

" Because of you." She whispered and tears fell from her eyes.

He looked at her stunned as he never thought that he would be the reason for her staying back. She smiled sadly at his reaction.

Wasn't it obvious to him that she loves him?

" Whenever I decide to tell you about my feelings some or the other thing happens and I end up reacting totally opposite." She sighed looking down sadly.

" You know how I feel whenever I see you with some other girl?" She asked him and more tears fell from her eyes.

" I feel like I lost you and there is no one for me in this world. Whenever I see you with a girl I feel suffocated." She says painfully and he stills listening to her.

Is she the same girl who used to not show any emotion on her face?

Now she is keeping her whole heart out for him.

She looked at his stunned face and sighed. She walked towards her car and sat in the driver's seat. When he heard the sound of the car, he realised that she already left.

He didn't know what he was doing and what he was saying.

He didn't know how to react to her outburst.

He didn't know what she meant by everything she said.

He was too shocked to do anything.

And now he doesn't know what to do.

He sat in his car and groaned loudly while pulling out his hair. After sitting for sometime he went to his home and sat thinking what to do.

Aadhya on the other end was extremely hurt by Rishabh's behaviour. She knows he doesn't like when she talks with other men but today how he behaved was unacceptable for her.

She agrees that she didn't confess her feelings to him but that doesn't give him to act the way he did today.

She also knows she was also wrong by not telling him about how she felt as she was worried that she might effect his life in a wrong way and now she regrets not telling him about her feelings.

At the moment she doesn't know what to do anymore.

She couldn't sleep anymore and came into the living room. She sat on the couch and stared off into the space. She never thought that Rishabh would become so important part of her life for whom she will be having sleepless nights.

She used to have sleepless nights due to nightmares but now it's because of Rishabh.

She groaned and sat there only for sometime.

After a long debate with herself, she decides that she will avoid him and stay away from him for sometime atleast until she gets clarity on what to do.

She sighs and leans back her head on the head rest. She jerks up when the door bell rings and looks at the time. She frowns as its 2am in the morning and who it might be at the door.

She slowly opens the door and gets stunned looking at the scene in front of her.
