Rishabh was astounded.

He never saw a girl like Aadhya.

It has been one week since she joined the office and he never saw a single emotion reflecting on her face not even a smile.

She comes to the work at 9 am and does every work she has been assigned to do. If she got any doubt, she would ask him and clarify but never he saw her talking one word extra which is not related to the work.

She will not wait for anyone or anything even for a second after the clock strikes 5:30 pm and bolts out of the office like her seat was on fire.

It made him even think to the extent that she is a robo and his brain confirmed it.

So he decided to test her.....to see if she is a human or a robo.

He called her inside by using his  intercom and she came into his cabin  in 2 minutes. She looked at him to write down the instructions but she just found him staring at her and so she cleared her throat to grab his attention.

" I want coffee." He said and she frowned at him.

" I said I want coffee." He said again raising his brows but again he only got a confused face.

" Ms. Aadhya, please go and bring me a nice cup of coffee." He said slowly.

" What? I....." She trailed off and huffed.

Without speaking any word she went to bring him his coffee and he sighed as he thought she will argue with him saying that it's not her job.

" Sir, your coffee." She said keeping the coffee on the table.

" So what do you think about this  office?" He asked sipping the coffee.

" It's good." She said in monotone voice.

" As you are my PA, I want you to change your dressing style as you see you will be meeting many business people.....so I suggest you to dress accordingly." He said seriously.

" What happened to my dress?" She looked down at her jeans and shirt she is wearing.

He thought there was nothing wrong in her dressing and also She is beautiful just in a shirt and jeans without an inch of makeup on her face. He shook away his thoughts and cleared his throat.

" They are not appropriate for your job.....you look like a tomboy." He said and she frowned making him smirk internally as he thought she would definitely get angry at what he said. No women would take such insult and would be definitely be embarrassed and offended by his comment.

" Then why didn't you tell me on my first day? I could have taken care of it." She asked him innocently.

He looked amazed at her innocence.

" Didn't you feel offended or angry for the comment I just passed on you?" He asked her stunned.

" No, what is there to get angry or offended? You are the boss and I am the employee, If you tell me only I will understand my mistakes so that I will not repeat them." She said as the matter if the fact.

He blinked at her to see if she is even real.

" Sir, can I leave?" She asked him.

" No, sort out these files and check them thoroughly." He said giving her some files.

" Sit here on the couch and do it." He said when she turned towards the door and went back to his work without looking at her.

She looked a bit uncomfortable but she sighed and sat on the couch checking the files with a blank face.

She is not a human.....he confirmed.

His intercom buzzed and he answered it.

" Sir, a girl has come to meet you.....she is saying that you know her." Receptionist told him.

" Her name?" He asked.

" Sonam." She said in irritated voice.

Oh! This girl.....how many times I have to tell her that I am not interested to date her.

" Don't send her in. Say that I am not available." He said and cut the call.

He looked at his PA who is still looking into the files with the same blank face.

His intercom buzzed again.

" What is it?" He snapped at her.

" Sir I tried to stop her a lot but she pushed me and is coming to your floor." She said and cut the call in fear.

" Oh No!" He yelled loudly and this catched her attention.

" Sir, what happened?" His PA asked.

" A girl named Sonam is coming here and I want you to stop her at any cost from coming in." He said and she nodded her head going outside.

He sat in his chair and sighed loudly. He was curious to see what's happening outside and so he switched on cctv camera to see them.

He chuckled when he saw Aadhya waiting for her near the lift like a watchman.

Aadhya doesn't know this girl but she has to do what she has been told to do and so she stood near the lift waiting for her.

The lift doors opened to reveal a beautiful girl but the only problem is that her skirt is too short and tight. She snapped out of thoughts when she heard a voice.

" Excuse me Miss?" Sonam called her.

" Yes?" She answered.

" Could you please tell me where is Mr. Malhotra's cabin?" She asked.

" Umm.....that way." She showed her the way which made Rishabh's eyes widen at the screen.

She was supposed to stop her!

" Thank you." She said and turned to leave.

" But you cannot meet him." Aadhya said making Sonam stop.

" Why not?" She glared at her.

" You have come here so far just to meet him, that means it must be a very important matter but I would suggest you not to talk about it to him right now as he is not in a mood to talk to anyone and told me to cancel all the meetings for today." Aadhya said softly.

Rishabh could see that they are talking but he wants to know what they are talking.

" What? Really?" Sonam asked.

" Yes, it's better if we don't disturb him right now because sensing the mood he is in, he will reject or cancel anything you might ask or say but if you still want to meet him......I can take you to him." Aadhya said sighing.

" Oh no! It's okay.....I will talk to him some other time and thanks for telling me this before hand as I would have messed up everything." Sonam said smiling at her while Aadhya nodded her head.

" Bye." She said and walked to the lift.

To say Rishabh was shocked and surprised would be an understatement as Sonam went away without creating any fuss or scene and the most shocking thing was Sonam smiled at his PA and didn't even looked angry.

When Sonam was out of her sight, Aadhya signed in relief and looked at the time it is 5:25 pm. She went to his cabin to tell him that she will be leaving now.

" Sir, I will be leaving now." She said.

" Wait! What did you tell her?" Rishabh asked curiously.

" Just the truth Sir." She said blankly.

" What?" He asked frowning.

" I told her that you are not in a good mood to talk and if she still wants to talk to you then it might backfire." She said simply and he looked at her astonished.

" And she listened?" He asked her.

" Yes." She said.

" You will be handling such things from now onwards in the office." He said and returned to his office.

" I did it today just because I couldn't deny you.......I am sorry sir but I am not going to repeat this again." She said sternly.

" Why not?" He asked raising his brows.

" Because I don't want to lie." She said as the matter of the fact and again he looked at her dumbfounded.

" As my PA you have to do it whatever work I give and you will be doing it either you wish or not." He said arrogantly.

He didn't want to be harsh but he said that maybe he can see anger on her face.

She looked at him coldly and sighed closing her eyes.

" Okay.....I am leaving now, my time is over." She said and walked away.

He looked at her through the glass door and saw her packing her things. She didn't glare at him or even looked angry but she looked little disturbed and he doesn't know the reason which he wants to know maybe because of him.

He sighed and thought deeply about what he will do tomorrow to prove that she is a human or a robo. He chuckled at his thoughts and went back to his work.

Aadhya on the other hand didn't care about what he said as she will do it if she wants to do otherwise she will straight away refuse it if she is not comfortable. She didn't miss the scrutinizing gaze of Rishabh, it was as if he wants to look right through her soul.

If only he knows.........

She smiled bitterly and quickly drove to her house.

She unlocked her house and went in to see Aman sprawled on the couch watching some cartoon show. As soon as he saw her, a wide grin plastered on his face and jumped from the couch into her arms.

" I missed you mumma." He said.

" I too missed you, did you eat something?" She asked him and he nodded his head in no.

She sighed as he doesn't eat unless she feeds him and she gets worried what he is eating at school.

" Aman, are you atleast eating at school?" She asked him cutting some fruits after washing her hands.

" Yes mumma, teacher will not allow to the class until we finish eating." He said and she sighed in relief mentally thanking the teacher.

" Good, now come on eat some fruits.....I will get your milk." She said handing him the plate.

She mixed his milk and brought him but one fourth part is also not finished from the whole plate. She took the plate and fed him. She made him drink the milk completely and asked about his homework.

" I don't have any homework today mumma." He said to her and turned his eyes back to the T.V.

She nodded and went to do the chores. She did the dishes, cleaned the house and went to dry the clothes which she had kept in the washing machine earlier.

When she returned back, Aman was still on the couch with his eyes glued on the T. V screen. She sat beside him and leaned her head back on the sofa.

She thought about the whole week she had spent in the office. It was bearable but she would like to do some changes when she will take the charge.

Her thoughts immediately wandered to Rishabh. He was annoying and irritating but he was okay.

She should get angry at the comments he had passed on her but she didn't because she knows who she is and he doesn't.

He changed a lot from what she saw in the photo which her parents had shown her few months back.

At the thought of them itself, tears sting in her eyes.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

She had liked him at the first sight she saw him in the photo. He was handsome and his dimpled smile would tug any girl's heart. Her parents wanted her to marry him but she doesn't know anything about him. She knows whatever they do that's for her good only and she said okay only because they are happy about it because she trusts them blindly.

It's not like she had any feelings for him, she just liked his looks and it was just a mere attraction. She wanted to get to know more about him before they get engaged or anything.

Her family was more than happy about it but all the happiness and good things comes to an end right.

And just like that everything came crashing down.

" Mumma, why are you crying?" Aman asked her with sad face.

" I am not crying beta." She said wiping her tears as she didn't realise she was crying.

" Don't worry mumma, I am here with you and will be always with you." Those little words came out of such a small kid itself brought immense happiness to her.

She hugged him tightly and kissed his forehead.

" You are the only thing I want." She whispered hugging him back.
