Chapter 1: Prologue
In the beginning Solaris, goddess of the sky, created the land in which man was to walk on, and the rain in which was to shower the world, and cleanse it.
Solaris then made three blades, one that gave light, one that took light, and one that destroyed it. She named them Sun, Moon and Apocalypse. Solaris cast the three swords down, and thus, earth became ready for man.
She created man and woman, bound by destiny to traverse through life together. Once she was pleased by her creation she divided herself into countless pieces, to light the night sky.
As time passed man evolved, creating new tools, better weapons, and bigger buildings and structures. They became more intelligent, understanding more and more about the world they were made in and how everything worked.
However through everything man accomplished, death followed. War scourged the lands, territories fought for what they believed in, everyone running off a different moral code. It was chaos.
One day, a brother and sister stood in the midst of all the evil and cast it away with the mighty weapons they had brought with them. The brother, Aaron, wielded Sun and his sister, Iris, wielded Moon. Together they ended the wars and brought unity to the territories. They decided to create two nations, the nations Day, and Night.
The nation of Day was based off the morals of unity and happiness. It is the land of creativity and spontaneity. It was a nation founded with the most prestigious armor crafters, producing the most excellent armor for their warriors.
The nation of Night was based off the morals of individuality and peace of mind. It is the land of logic and preparedness. It was a nation founded with the most prestigious weapon smiths, producing the most excellent weapons for their warriors.
Both nations were at peace, trading goods and resources with each other. Citizens were freely allowed to travel to and from both nations. The rules of each nation were clearly stated and if they were broken the perpetrator would be punished accordingly or exiled into the unknown.
After several long years of peace citizens of both nations began to dislike each other and tensions arose. The Sun people from the nation of Day saw their opposing nation's citizens as monsters with no hearts, whereas the Moon people from the nation of Night saw heir opposing nation's citizens as foolish children. A war began between the two nations.
Equal in battle, they fell into a stale mate. They clashed at their borders and the bodies piled up, creating a wall of corpses. That unmoving battle front became known as The Line of the Dead. After more than hundreds of lives were lost, and both sides had depleted a large portion of their resources they came to an agreement. The Line of the Dead would become the new barrier permanently separating the two nations. To symbolize their permanent isolation from each other they stationed soldiers along The Line of the Dead, to keep anyone from crossing. At day the Moon people guarded their border, and at night the Sun people guarded theirs.
Since then both sides have been plentiful and peaceful, never was there a problem between the two nations as long as they stayed out of their own business. No one ever crossed sides, and no one ever caused any problems for the other nation. However there was one exception, the rulers of both nations were allowed to meet once every month at sun set.
