Chapter Fourteen
That same evening...
At the ST. THEODORA CLINIC CENTER, after being stabbed by Mikael, Christy is laying on a stretcher bed, drawn by Klaus, Callahan and Keelin.
"The knife itself is embedded in Christy's stomach, we have to get it out before it does any more damage." Callahan said.
"Klaus, wait here." Keelin said, outside at the ER.
Keelin walks inside the ER with her husband, Callahan.
From outside of the ER, Klaus watches from the double door as Callahan and Keelin works together having setup Christy with a heart rate monitor.
With a pair of pliers, Keelin gently digs into Christy's stomach wound, and gently grips the blood-stained knife blade, causing the heart rate monitor to beep.
"Oh, shit, Keelin." Callahan said to his wife, worriedly, looking at the heart rate lines on the monitor slowly rising.
"The knife blade is in deep, I have to pull it out without it cutting any other stomach intestines." Keelin said to her husband.
"Then, we pull it out quickly." Callahan suggested.
"Callahan?" Keelin said.
"I know the risk, Keelin, but if we don't, Christy will die." Callahan said.
"Alright." Keelin said. She takes a deep breath and pulls out the blood-stained knife blade from Christy's stomach wound. "I got it."
And Callahan quickly covers the stomach wound with a square band-aid, which stops the bleeding and slowly soaks up the blood.

"What does that mean?" Christy asked, concerned.
"Christy? If you're not careful, you could have gastrointestinal bleeding." Keelin said.
"Is that not good?" Christy asked.
"That knife blade. It was made from a Mercury element." Keelin said. "And by the way, it's not good."
"Klaus isn't gonna like this." Christy said, concerned about her husband finding out.
"No, he won't." Keelin said.

Christy looks at Klaus, a bit confused. "Talk about what?"
"Mikael tried to kill you, Christy." Klaus mentioned.
