An entry for the Indian ONC 2023 woven from prompt #9: There's an urban legend that's been circulating for years about a taxi cab that doesn't take you where you want to go, but where you need to go. One night, you stepped into this cab.

My last ONC was a success and I was shortlisted. I don't expect myself to cross such a high bar again, and all I hope is to make your time spent reading my story worth it. Thank you for being here!

This is my third ONC and I've tried my best! I'll be taking part in the Indian version this time. I've gone out of my comfort zone writing romance, but I hope I'll write it right. I've been out of touch from writing, but I hope my words are still worth reading.
