Chanyeol drove back to the hospital early the next morning to pick up Baekhyun. Taehyung sat in the back of the SUV playing with his Spider-Man and Batman figurines. Music softly played in the background, and the overall atmosphere was calm; exactly the way Baekhyun needed it to be to keep his health up.

Chanyeol also had planned a day and wanted it to be special since tomorrow he would be going back to work. He had talked to Jongin and Kyungsoo the day before and explained what happened with Baekhyun and they had made plans to get Taehyung and Sunny together for a playdate. It would be beneficial for both of them. Baekhyun would have a quiet house to himself for a few hours; while Taehyung got the chance to play with someone his own age. And Chanyeol was very proud of himself for managing to arrange the whole thing.

Sunny was Jongin and Kyungsoo's adopted daughter they had managed to call their own a month or so after Baekhyun and Chanyeol had gotten Taehyung. They were very happy having her in their lives, and like Baekhyun and Chanyeol they loved her dearly as if she was their own.

Finally arriving at the hospital Chanyeol put the car in park before cutting the ignition and getting out. He helped unbuckle Taehyung from his car seat and picked him up, carefully placing him on his feet while still keeping ahold of one of his hands as they walked to the main doors. In Taehyung's other hand, he was holding his action figures.

Chanyeol lead Taehyung towards the reception desk and got the necessary papers to discharge Baekhyun. Chanyeol was busy signing the last of the papers while Taehyung played with his toys, stretching up as high as his tiptoes would allow him to play on the desk. The receptionist noticed him and smiled before asking Chanyeol if he could have a piece of candy, Chanyeol had glanced at his son who was behaving so well and smiled as he nodded. Taehyung's eyes lit up when he received the treat and thanked the kind lady before placing the candy in his mouth.

After signing all the necessary papers Chanyeol took Taehyung's now slightly sticky hand and lead him to Baekhyun's room.

Baekhyun had just finished changing into the clothes Chanyeol brought him the day before just when his husband and son entered the room. A huge smile split across Taehyung's face when he saw Baekhyun, and unable to resist his natural instinct, he ran forward and threw his tiny arms around his waist; his cheek pressing into Baekhyun's baby belly. Baekhyun chuckled as he hugged Taehyung back.

"Did you miss me, Tae?" Baekhyun softly asked.

Taehyung nodded vigorously and held on tighter as he glanced up at Baekhyun with his big eyes and said, "I really really missed you!"

Baekhyun smiled and lifted Taehyung onto his hip as he said, "And I really really really missed you."

Taehyung giggled and wound his arms around Baekhyun's neck and placed his head into the crook of his shoulder. Baekhyun kissed his cheek.

"Feeling better, I hope?" Chanyeol asked as he wound an arm around behind Baekhyun's back and kissed his temple.

Baekhyun smiled and softly replied, "Much better."

Chanyeol smiled too. "I'm glad. So are you ready to go home?"

Baekhyun nodded and said, "Definitely."

Chanyeol chuckled and kissed his temple again before they walked out of the room and the hospital to the car.
