James POV:
We were at swimming and Annabeth was there. Obviously to watch me beat that idiot Percy Jackson. I mean even my name sounds better than his. It's really not my fault I win every competition ever made. Ain't I just awesome.

We were getting ready and some of the girls were looking at Percy. Ugh. They are probably disgusted by him.

We get ready and jump. The water is nice and warm. I catch I glimpse of Percy and he is behind when suddenly a get a slash of water in my face and his finished 2 laps.

We get out the pool and 5 of us are chosen for the team. Apart of that team is Percy,two other boys a girl and me. Now we are trying for captain. I am so going to win this one.

We get ready and jump. I am on my third lap out of 8 when I see Percy is already out the pool. Ahhh! Why? How? He probably got a cramp but then the coach comes over and says something about captain.

I was cut out my thoughts my almost swimming into the wall of the pool.

We get out and obviously Percy is Captain.

I hate him so much!!!
