~Tera mujhe kar jaati hai yeh dooriyan~
------------------------
I looked around my new room. As we reached Delhi an hour ago. Mom helped me shift all my stuff to this room.
I unpacked all the bags and it was the most backbreaking work.
Heading towards my bed I arranged the pillow and saw my small backpack still packed.
I forgot to unpack it.
Hitting my forehead I sat on the bed opening the bag I saw a box kept there.
I took out the box and a gasp left my mouth.
"Chocolates for the eternally sweet girl," I read the note that was stuck on the top of the box.
With one look at the handwriting, I knew who was behind it.
Maybe long-distance friendship is going to be hard but the effort can make it sail through every storm.
Opening the box I found lots of chocolates stuffed badly inside it. I smiled, touched the chocolates and picked out my favourite dairy milk.
Keeping the box safely inside my small side cupboard. I started munching the chocolate and arranged all the photo frames above the headboard of my bed.
This time the picture I kept private was placed on the side table under the table lamp.
Rehaan and Mine first picture.
After organising everything I went inside to take a shower as I was extremely tired from sitting from Mumbai to Delhi.
Well, I guess the shower was all I needed as I was feeling super fresh after it.
Wearing the bathrobe I came out of my room and strolled around my room taking out my clothes from the wardrobe.
I untied my hair from the towel and dried them up. Standing in the front of the dresser I saw my phone's screen lighting.
Grabbing it up I saw it was 10 missed calls from Rehaan.
Neglecting that I have to slip into my clothes I sat back on the bed and called him at very instant.
He picked up the call in the first ring as if he was just waiting for it.
"Hy, you reached, didn't even inform me anything……." He trailed off with a full chain of questions.
"Stop stop stop, slow down Reh, I reached around an hour ago," I told him keeping my phone stable from holding it between my shoulder and ear.
"An hour, and you didn't care to tell me," Rehaan said and I can guess he was pissed off right now.
"Ummm, actually I was busy in unpacking and all so I just couldn't get the time," I told him reasons behind and he hummed slowly.
"Don't repeat this again," He said his voice indicating he was trying not to lash out.
I very well knew how much he hate it when I neglect something. I sighed and asked him about his whereabouts.
"I am just wandering around our favourite street food corner," Rehaan said and this time it was me who was whining.
"Haww deliver me some," I said thinking about all those mouth watering food.
"Come on the video call I will show case you everything,by the way I am going to have Vada pav," Rehaan making me feel hangry.
"You are so bad," I said and heard him chuckling.
"Ok listen," Rehaan said pausing for a second.
"Bol (Say)," I asked him and was gifted by a minute of silence.
"Umm I already miss you best friend," He said slowly making my heart flutter.
"Oh really best friend," I tried to tease him but in reality I was also missing him.
"Stupid girl," He said chuckling softly.
"Ok now it's already 9 pm go home and I am going for dinner and will call you after that, I better find you at home when I call," I completed not leaving any space for further statement.
"Aye aye Captain," He said laughing.
Standing on the egde of my bike I saw people passing around me. The occupied streets of Mumbai were filled with people laughing rejoicing themselves.
I was feeling awfully tired and worried because of the turns happened in a span of twelve hours.
After taking to Aranya my heart felt light. Even when I wanted to tell her that I was missing her. I was a bit hesitate because I couldn't understand how she will react.
What if she got a idea about the waves my heart was fluttering into.
I glanced at my wrist watch and it was 9:30. I better go home or else not only Aranya will reward me with lecture. My mom will reward me with free flying slippers, lecture including.
Turning my bike I made my way to my home not before eating a Vada Pav. I just ate one because I can't tell mom that my stomach is filled with street food.
Parking my bike I got inside my room changed into a comfortable shorts and t-shirt.
I reached the dinning hall and helped mom in the kitchen she was making Chappatis so I arranged the table.
Helping your mom's in kitchen is not only a girl's thing.
We all sat down and finished the dinner with normal chit chat session.
"It will be so empty without Aranya. She was such a cheerful girl. I just hope se visits us soon," Mumma said and i hummed in response.
"Yes, but no worries Mom. She will keep visiting us or sometimes we will visit her," Abhimaan bhai said and Dad agreed with him.
How much I wish to meet her as soon as possible.
We all went back to our rooms post dinner and I rolled on the bed waiting for her call.
Suddenly my phone rang and I picked up instantly.

"
You were sitting on the phone," She said as soon as I picked the call.
I realised that being a desperate to see her I picked it up in the very first ring.
Stretching my neck a bit I smiled sheepishly and she looked at me and a chuckle left her mouth.
"Had dinner," She asked me breaking the silence.
"Oh yeah, Mom made Mushrooms curry today, It was yum," I said amd she glared at me.
"That's my favourite you know right," She said making me laugh.
"Haha yes," I said winking at her.
The call went silent for a minute and I looked at her face drowned in some deep thoughts.
"What happened Ara," I asked her and as for the first time I called her by a nickname.
She instantly looked at me with a amused look.
"Reh, are we umm I mean," She fumbled with her words making me raise my eyebrows.
"Say it, why are you hesitating to say it to me," I tried making her comfortable.
"Are we going to cop up with the long distance friendship," She said and I can clearly see how she changed her words.
I choose not to point out when I very well know she was going to say something else.
"I already told you Ara," I said giving her a sweet smile.
"I loved this nickname Reh" She said smiling cheekily.
"I always do the best thing, well I too loved the one you gave me," I said and she smiled looking at me.
"I always do the bestest thing," She said winking at me.
This girl never fails to amaze me.
