*Luke's POV*

So I was pushed out of Dylan's house, and now I have no where to go!

'Mate!'

'Jackson shut up for a minute!'

'Go back to mate!' He snarls.

'Okay just let me rest then we can go okay!'

'MATE MATE MATE!!'

Okay well some wolf is happy!

As I have said many times, I think my wolf is bipolar!

Angry, snarling at me one minute, now jumpin around so happy.

Gosh.

I start walking down the flight of stairs, and down to the street.

I turn around and look up into the building of apartment, and see Dylan standing at his window smiling at me.

I give him the finger while laughing.

I turn and start walking down the road.

I see Flinder street station. (a/n he is in Melbourne so the station is an actual place lol)

And I already know that taking a train back would be quicker getting back.

I walk in and the smell of vampire and Human invades my nostrils.

Yes I'm in Melbourne about 48 hours away from Kat, and Melbourne is a Vampire state.

So I really shouldn't be here but I really don't care.

I walk over to get my ticket hoping that they will have a train there.

I stand at the ticket booth thing and I see the lady talking on the phone.

Well isn't this lovely.

-10 minutes later-

Im still waiting for the lady to finish her phone call.

How long does it take to talk on the phone like seriously!

I decided to be the alpha I am.

'The alpha that runs away!'

'Jackson not now'

And kindly interrupt.

"Hello, excuse me?" I interrupt at kindly as possible.

She looks up at me and her eyes widen, them she hisses and shows her fangs.

"What are you doing here dog?" She hisses.

Ouch.

"Aye chill blood sucker I just need a train ticket back to Queensland."

"Can't you see I'm busy mutt!"

"Can't you see fangs I've been standing here for the past 10 minutes, waiting for you to end your pointless phone call!"

She stay quiet.

She moves her hands over the keyboard to the computer and prints out the ticket.

"Here." She shoves the ticket at me, and goes back to her phone call.

I leave the money on the desk.

I take a look at the ticket.

Platform: 5

Train: 78

Destination: Queensland

Time to departure: 04:56am

Time of arrival: 06:40am

I look at the time and it's 04:45am.

Good only 4 in the morning, and only have to wait 11 minutes.

I walk to platform 5 and wait.

-11 minutes later-

I'm on the train and I'm stuck next to some old person, and a prostitute.

And I'm not joking about the prostitute.

"Your an Alpha?" I here a voice next to me. I turn to see the prostitute talking to me.

"Yeah I am."

"Nice. I used to be a Luna before my mate died." She said tears filling her eyes.

"What pack?"

"White fur pack."

"Oh Alpha Brian. Yeah we had history. Haven't spoken in years and now I know why. So may I ask. Why are you dressed like that?"

"Really! Umm I'm a prostitute I guess. But like one that goes around to packs and helps with heat both men and women." she explains.

"Really? Those things are real! Wow!"

"Yup we are! And after Brian died I guess I gave up on the pack. I tried to keep it together I really did but I just couldn't do it! So this was the only choice I had really!" She says tears streaming down her face.

I put my arms around her comforting her in the best possible way.

She cried into my top.

After 3 minutes of her crying, she asked me a question.

"Do you have a mate?"

"Yeah I do. She's beautiful."

"Aww lucky girl, tell me about her. Oh and my names Ella."

"Luke. And she the most amazing person you'll ever meet. Kind, smart, pretty, she's just a beautiful person inside and out. She's so nice she wouldn't say no. She will help anyone."

"Awe she sounds amazing." She says in awe. "Where is she now?"

Now that was a question I was hoping she wouldn't ask.

"She's um... It's complicated." Not wanting to explain. I feel a tear slip down my cheek.

"Luke it's okay. You don't have to explain." she says rubbing my arm.

"Thanks." I whisper.

"All passengers to Queensland please collect your belongings and leave the train." The robot voice in the PA system asks.

I stand up, blowing out a long and shaky breath.

I turn to Ella and say my goodbyes.

I grab all my things, which includes a small bag with new clothes and some toiletries and get of the train.

I start waking in the direction of the pack house, which is about a 3 hour walk, or 1 hour run.

I get to the forest and strip.

It's been so long since Jackson went for a run.

I shifted it was a little painful but we got over it.

'Lets go to mate jacks'

I tell him.

'Mate!'

I start running.

After about 45 minutes of running I see my border.

I see Jason, Jack and Ava doing patrol.

I cross my border, only to be jumped on by Jason and Jack . Ava being smart is staying behind.

'Luke? Is that you?' Jason asks.

'No dickhead it's a vampire.' I say being a smartass.

'Luke!' Jack says shifting back to his human form as did Ava and Jason , and me.

"Dude where did you go!"

"Tyler can tell you! I need to get to Kat." I say running off.

"Wait! Luke!" Ava yells. I stop and see a pair of shorts thrown at my face.

"Thank you!" I tell running off again.

"WAIT!" Jason yells.

What this time.

"What? Can't you see I'm trying to fix things!"

"Luke just wait. We have to warn you. Kat is very fragile ever since you left so please don't fuck this up more then you already have! Because if you do I have a feeling none of us will ever see her again.."

I knew what he meant by, none of us may never see her again, and I won't let that happen.

I run full speed till I can smell my mate, and see the pack house.

I walk up the porch steps and the front door is open.

I stand in the door seeing Eve and my princess, sitting in the main room.

I hear her singing and Eve going crazy about that little liars show. Gosh that girl hasn't changed.

Hearing Kats voice singing is like music to my ears. I missed her voice.

I hear Eve has stopped having her moment and she is looking right at me.

Her face like she has just seen Santa.

I see Kat trying to get Eves attention.

"Aye Eve?" No answer.

She turns around and see what Eve is staring at.

Me.

Kat is gobsmacked.

"Luke?"

Hearing my name come out of her mouth made my eyes tear up.

I have waited so long for her to say my name again.

"Kat."
