This is driving me nuts!

It's been a week since that rainy night with the handsome stranger.

The very next day when the man woke up, I kept trying to talk to him but he panicked, ran out of the apartment, and came back dragging a cute black-haired boy.

Then I learned the handsome man's name: Jiminie. I also learned that, apparently, Mrs. Kim's son thought I was super weird, but...whatever.

The point is that Jiminie hasn't been able to see me since then and I'm freaking out! If I could just get to Hobi and the guys, I'm sure they would be able to help me.

That is completely out of the question though. I'm too scared to leave the apartment.

I peeped at some of Jiminie's mail, which so happened to be a credit card bill for a ridiculous amount. At first, I was shocked at the amount he spent in a bar but then I focused on the date.

It's been ten months since the day with Kook and I don't remember anything else except walking home in the rain and finding Jiminie in my apartment.

Where have I been this whole time? What if I blackout again if I step out of the apartment? No, I can't risk it!

I've resorted to trying to get Jimin's attention. I've tried all the normal troupes: turning on the TV and stereo, I was for some reason able to touch objects if I focused hard enough but not him.

I couldn't hold a pen long enough to write a note, so I resorted to hiding his keys in ridiculous places where he would never put them

The only time I knew he could feel me was when I got so close he would shiver. But nothing is working!

He would randomly yell in the apartment how I needed to just leave him alone, that I was a weird stalker who latched onto him.

Like I want to be here stuck with this stupid playboy who eats cereal out of a cup because he doesn't own bowls.

He has no adulting skills; he usually comes home with takeout and just lounges on his couch leaving clothes and trash all over the apartment.

Ugh, I want to be gone too.

I was walking out of his room this morning and I swear he saw me because he gasped, but then he was standing up and yelling that I had to get out of HIS house. I was furious and just picked up his brush from the dresser and threw it at him.

He left soon after and I've been stuck here worried about what to do. I have to get to the guys, they would be able to help.

I stare out the window watching the storm clouds slowly rolling in.

At least it's going to rain.

I heard the slow tapping on the window and then it became a pitter-patter. I smile as I watch umbrellas open, and people run for cover.

Suddenly I got a sharp pain in my head, I clenched my eyes closed tightly, grabbing hold of the side of my head, trying to will the pain away.

And then I saw... myself? I'm standing in front of a mirror, it is clearly me but isn't at the same time.

My hair is pulled into a sleek ponytail, my naturally wild curly hair is stick straight and my eyes are heavily lined in black. I'm wearing a skin-tight red dress I would never actually wear out in public and then...

I'm gone.

"Rayne!" I hear from behind me.

"OH, THANK GOD!" I quickly rush to Hobi to engulf him in a hug and I go right through him.

"I'll never get used to that," Hobi says turning around to face me. Shaking out his extremities.

"You can see her too, right?" Jiminie speaks up from the front door.

"You can see her?" Kook questions with wide eyes.

"Yeah! She's standing right there," he says pointing directly at me beside Hobi.

"NOOO FAIR!" Kook whines.

"Is he telling the truth?" Yoongi asks Hobi who looks like the cat who caught the canary.

"Yeah, she's here!" he says turning to look at me.

"Hobi, what the fuck is going on?!"

"Well, you see, you and Kook were unloading a new shipment—" Hobi starts to explain.

"Tell her it's her own fault! I told her to leave it alone but nooo, she just had to do what she wanted"—Kook interrupts—"ALSO, tell HER to stop glaring at me! I know she is even if I can't see her!" he points to the open spot next to Hobi thinking I'm there.

Ugh, I love Jungkook but if I could physically touch him right now, I'd be throttling him! Now is not the time for this argument.

Yoongi whacks Kook on the back of the head telling him to shut up and I happily smile feeling justice has been served.

"She's not there, idiot," Jiminie taunts him.

"So now that you're here you can just take her and leave, right?"

"Please, tell me you can fix this." I plead.

"Well, here's the thing, Rayne can't leave yet cause she's tied to this apartment," Hobi looks worried and fiddles with his fingers.

"You can leave the apartment, Rayne, but you should be with someone who can see you. It will help center you. If you are out there's a chance you can disappear again."

"Hell No! Take her with you!" Jiminie says.

"Shut up, Jiminie. Do you think I want to stay here?" I retort.

He looks at me confused, but Hobi quickly stops our bickering before it can start. He clears his throat and claps his hands drawing our attention back to him.

"She has to stay, we don't have her body..."

We spend the next hour discussing what has happened. I don't remember, so Kook tells us.

Ugh, I'm an IDIOT! I know all the rules about handling the items Yoongi imports for the museum but, apparently, I ignored every single one of them.

He says that we were unloading a crate of new items into the safe room to be blessed and a music box started playing on its own.

I start to recall that day, not all items are cursed and when the music box started to play a song my mother used to sing to me all the time, I couldn't help but be drawn to it.

"Yep and that's when she just knocked out and when I came back you were gone," Kook says again talking to thin air, causing Hobi to laugh.

"So, what do we do?" I question.

"We have to find your body, Rayne," Hobi addresses me, a serious look taking over his usually joyful expression.

"Hobi, I saw myself!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"WHERE?!" he replies.

"She said she's seen herself guys!"

I tell them all about what happened right before they showed up, how it was me but wasn't me. I'm sitting on the armrest of Yoongi's chair next to Yoongi watching as my presence causes him to shiver.

"HEY! Where did she go?" Jiminie asks.

Yoongi looks directly at Hobi. I'm so confused, I haven't moved from my perch next to him. How come he can't see me?

Kook looks worried as his eyes dart around the room. He couldn't see me to begin with, so I have no idea what he's looking for.

"What are you talking about? She's still sat right there," Hobi pointed at me, and relief washes over me knowing I haven't actually disappeared again.

"I don't see her anymore..." Jiminie mumbles.

"Hobi, he couldn't see me all week no matter what I tried," I informed him.

Hobi starts asking Jiminie questions about the times he's seen me. My eyes are drawn to Yoongi, his fingers tap against the opposite armrest, brows furrowed and eyes staring blankly deep in thought.

"It's the rain," Yoongi finally speaks. The other guys all look at him confused and he lets out a sigh.

"I swear you lot are so slow. The first time he saw her it was storming, this morning he saw her and it was drizzling, it's been pouring cats and dogs this whole time we've been here and now that it's stopped he can't see her" he raises his brows hoping they will catch on.

"But then why only him?" Kook asks. His bottom lip protrudes as he pouts.

"Yeah! Why am I cursed with seeing her?" Jiminie asks, shrinking down in his chair from the glare Yoongi is shooting him.

"I don't really know, some people are just wired differently," Hobi turns to Jiminie, a huge smile on his face. "This is perfect though I can teach you some exercises to help open your eyes so yo—"

"No, thanks! I don't want to be caught up in this craziness" Jiminie cuts off Hobi. Yoongi stands, striding directly to him.

"Listen here, whether you want to be involved or not, you are! So you will listen to what Hoseok tells you and you will help us. Understand?"

I watch as Jiminie gulps nervously and nods his head, not daring to speak back to Yoongi.

Even I am exhausted hours later, Jimin tried over and over to do what Hobi instructed, but he still couldn't see me.

We were finally calling it a night. Hobi waved to me, promising to come back soon. Kook also waved in the completely wrong direction making me laugh loudly, Jiminie's head turned in my direction, but then he quickly turned away.

Jiminie walks the guys to the door but Yoongi lingers behind. I stand beside him and watch as goosebumps rise on his arms. Then he turns and looks directly into my eyes.

"You're so dumb, Rayne..." he whispers looking deep into my eyes. He sees me. He always has.

"Yoongi...I'm sorry" I say sadly.

"Your mom is gonna be so angry at me. I promised her I wouldn't let anything bad happen to you."

"It's not your fault."

Yoongi snorts.

"You're damn right it isn't. It's yours...ugh, but we will fix this. Try not to cause that boy too much trouble." he shoots me a wink and his gummy smile that he hardly shows graces his face.

He quickly plasters his stern expression back on as he passes Jiminie out the door.

"Jiminie" I call out as he closes the door behind him.

He doesn't reply, he simply walks past me to his room and shuts the door.
