Alright, so, as I said in the previous part, this book is pretty different from any I have done before. 

There's a lot of history to the world that this takes place in, and I will leave that here so that you aren't totally confused.

October 18, 2870, marked the beginning of the second civil war the United States went through. The war lasted for 5 years, ending on September 26, 2875, with the 50 states being eliminated, divided into 8 provinces; Linburn - Capital: Minneapolis, Springcoast - Capital: San Francisco, Grasshaven - Capital: Austin, Steton - Capital: NYC, Stiena - Capital: Denver, Shaesia - Capital: D.C., Porthland - Capital: Seattle, and Marshal - Capital: Atlanta.

As a new government emerged, the nation changed names, choosing to be called Thava.

About a year after the end of the war, the government realized that the bombs and weapons used during the war caused genetic mutations in a few districts that caused people to see in black at white and to stop aging once they reached 18. What truly intrigued the government and scientists alike was that the effects of the genetic mutations were reversed when that person touched their "Soulmate."

Two generations later, and the mutations started disappearing, as the chemical that caused them had disappeared almost completely, although there were still a few instances of "Soulmates."

Ironically, on February 14, 2950, the day formerly known as Valentine's Day, the government passed a law that labeled "Soulmates" as outcasts and threats to the society because of social turmoil due to the mutation spreading to the children of "Soulmates. It became required for citizens to report anyone with a "Soulmate" to the City Center. 

Most were arrested and eventually killed, although a few "Soulmates" were able to escape and form a society in the ruins of a small town. As time passed, the society grew and created a headquarter in each district that worked to rescue all "Soulmates."
