I went to his mother house with him, but he didn't look so happy to have me there, so I kept my mouth shut since he doesn't like me much. I could have not agreed to his stupid agreement when it doesn't make no sense but still like some stupid fool I am, I agreed.

I sat down where I was next to Max, but I kept my mouth shut while his mother was encouraging me to say something, but I didn't want to say anything, so she doesn't think something totally different where Max blurted that I am pregnant with his child and didn't want to tell her.

''Pregnant?'' she asked. I just sat there smiling while he was explaining to his mother about the night, we allegedly slept with each other which led to the unexpected pregnancy. she couldn't believe what she is hearing from her own son mouth because she thinks I am some gold digger trying to get some money off on Max but trust me I don't even like Max, I am just helping him.

''So, what do you have to say about this, April?'' she asked me, but I didn't know what to say other than face the facts of what Max already told her. Melissa was face timing him and he didn't want to answer but he did anyways where he walked away from the table talking to her, his mother asked me if I had taken the test.

''I have taken ten pee sticks.'' I spoke.

''And they all say, you are positive?'' she was making sure if it was accurate where I told her it was accurate, but she didn't believe me where I had to explain to her that Max took me to the doctor since he didn't believe me.

''And?'' she was curious.

''They said I am pregnant with Max child.'' I said but the main thing is about me and what was I going to do with a fake child. Max came back to the table telling his mother he has some things to handle so he doesn't mind taking me back but his mother insisted that I stayed with her so she can catch up with me.

''Mother, you don't have to do that.'' He looked at me.

''I want to, darling.'' she smiles.

''I am going to see Melissa.'' he says.

''When are you going to break up with her since now you are going to be a father soon.'' she says but I didn't want to be with Max because this is contract that will end up badly from my perspective at this time because no one will believe I'm pregnant for real when I am not showing real symptoms.

Max texted me by giving me a script to based off on since he thinks I am not good enough to improvise when I am good at improvising. He had left where he whispered in my ear telling me to not reveal anything secretive to his mother. Max left where it was his mother and I at the table talking to one another about each other lives. she was explaining to me how she found out she was pregnant with Max older brother. then Max, and last be least his little sister. 

She had found out that she was pregnant with her first son when she was seventeen and her mother couldn't believe she gotten herself pregnant when she was supposed to have a better future for herself. She was speaking about her mother and how she dictated her every little detail of her life. 

I actually felt bad for her, and I felt like we were bonding in a way I couldn't understand. I was thinking about Melissa and his mother bonding where his mother told me she likes me better than Melissa. when she met Melissa, she reminded her of her mother she says. I feel like Max shouldn't do this to his mother especially she went through a hardship time by becoming a mother. 

I asked her if her mother is still alive where she told me her mother is still alive and kicking like a grouchy bitch she is. she remembered when she came to family dinner telling the children that she was a little slut when she was younger. Max was laughing while his brother was helping out his grandmother, but Max had known what she had went through, Max would never laugh at her ever let alone acting like she did something to him.

''So, you are telling me that little ogre is carrying your child?'' She is angry.

''Melissa, I came to you so I can tell you we need to break up.'' I told.

''You were mine before she got herself pregnant with your child, that child was supposed to be mine and not anyone else.'' Melissa couldn't believe that Max got someone else unattractive as me pregnant. I wanted to tell Max we should end this because I can see his mother is hurting by having children who are not grateful for having. I fell asleep on the couch since Max is the only one who can take me home because I didn't want to trouble his mother to taking me home. Max opened the door where he was looking for me, so he went to the kitchen where his mother told him that I was sleeping on the couch since I refuse to sleep in one of the guests' rooms. 

''So, what happened with Melissa?'' His mother asked.

''I told her we should break up since now I am serious about becoming a father although it sounds funny coming from my mouth.'' Max finds this as a joke.

''Max, that girl doesn't want to be a mom and trust me I used to be in her same footsteps where I was young and pregnant with a grouchy mother.'' She speaks.

''Mom, don't compare yourself to April because she is nothing like you.'' He felt like his mother was exaggerating. His mother went to bed pretending to hear what her son just told her right in her face; I couldn't help myself but to hear what he said to her and how he said it to her. He tapped me telling me to wake up because he was going to take me home late as it and he didn't even offer me to stay in one of his guests' rooms. 

Wow, what a jerk.

''I don't know why you speak to your mother like that.'' I was upset to know I am agreeing to a contract deal with a jerk. 

''My mother relationship with me is none of your business.'' He speaks.

''You need to grow up.'' 

''You need to stop putting your nose in things that doesn't pertain you.'' 

''Please, take me home.'' I left his super large home heading to his car where he didn't mind taking me home. The car ride was so quiet where neither of us spoke to one another because I don't like how he speaks to his mother, and he doesn't like how I stick my nose in his business when it practically my so-called business since I am carrying his non-existing child.

I was glad to get out of his car with no problem since he is a jerk and I needed to rethink about the contact agreement with him. 

Was it worth it, or no?
