Max stayed over at my house where we got to know each other a little more until he got a phone call from Michael. Michael told him that he is at the hospital chained to the bed, Max didn't understand why until Michael told him that Hope, and Ryan are dead. Max rushed out of bed putting on some clothes rushing himself to the hospital. Once he got there, he went into Michael's room seeing him all distraught. 

''What happened?'' He asked. 

''I don't know I lost control of the car.'' Michael says. 

''What do you mean you lost control of the car?'' Max didn't understand what Michael was telling him until Michael told him that he lost control to the car which led him to hit something and when he woke up, Ryan head was out of the window while Hope head hits the glass of the window. Melissa and he was the only who was okay, and Max asked him if he was drinking all night. Michael told him that he had a few drinks, but he wasn't impaired to drive, Max couldn't deal with the words that were coming out of Michael's mouth. Max walked out of the room to find Melissa since she will be able to tell him what happened at that moment. 

I was looking at Michael as he was fighting to stay awake, then he tells me to watch over Max because he will have to deal with the fact that Ryan and Hope are dead because of him. I left the room once he passed out. I went to find Max where he was in Melissa's room talking to her since she wasn't that injured in the accident. 

''What happen tonight, Melissa?'' He asks. 

''Michael almost killed us.'' 

''How?''

''Ryan and Michael got into a fight earlier about who will be driving because Michael was drunk and Ryan only had a drink, so he believed that he should be the one to drive, but Michael refused to give him the keys. Hope wanted to go home since she was getting tired, and she was getting on my nerves with her attitude until Michael took the wheel. Michael was playing while driving and Ryan told him to stop the car because he doesn't trust him to drive and Michael didn't like how Ryan was bossing him around, then Hope told him to stop playing around. Then Michael got so mad that he kept playing around where it got Ryan mad to the point, he was arguing with Michael which led Michael to drive off the road. ''

''Did Ryan try taking the wheel?'' Melissa told him that Ryan leans in to take the wheel, but it led them to drive off the road. Once we hit the tree, Ryan head was out of the window while Michael head was on the wheel and Hope head as on the glass of the window bleeding. I shook Hope to wake her up, but she wasn't waking up, so I thought she had passed out. Ryan didn't look too good from she was sitting at. I called the ambulance to come get us since Michael was unconscious till, he got here at the hospital. Melissa asked Max if Hope and Ryan is okay, but he didn't know how to tell her. He looked in the other direction as he thought of a response to give her, she grabbed his hand asking him once again. 

''They are dead because of Michael.'' Melissa looked in the other direction as she started to tear up. She couldn't believe she lost her best friend all because Michael wanted to play dumb while driving. Melissa wanted to be left alone to wallow in her tears, so Max and I left her room to sit in the waiting room because he couldn't bear to see Michael face after all he has done now. Ryan's parents came into the hospital rushing in as they asked for Ryan. They stumble upon Max at the hospital as he was standing and watching his parents ask for him. 

''Max, is our son alright?'' His father asked. 

''I am sorry.'' His mother fell down to the ground as she yelled out no, so many times when she saw Max's face. Ryan's father holds his wife to console her from the pain that she just heard from Max. I didn't know Ryan, but he seems like a good person who did not deserve this kind of death. Hope's parents came rushing in as well where they stumbled upon Max as well and Ryan's parents. 

Hope father asked Max to not tell him that his daughter is dead as well. Max looked the other way as he told the father that he lost his daughter as well. A doctor came out to see Ryan's and Hope's parents to tell them that they have lost their children and he needed their help to deal with the body. 

Ryan's mother asked the doctor to tell them about how he died, so the doctor told both of the parents that they both died on the scene of the accident. When they got here, they were already declared dead on the scene, so they rushed them to the mortuary of the hospital to start opening them up to find the cause of their demise. Ryan lost a lot of blood in the accident and Hope died from getting a major blow from the accident which led her head to be on the glass window. The doctor even mention that the driver is here and under investigation for murder, then he told them in no time the police will be here, but they are investigating the accident. 

 ''Who was driving?'' Ryan's mother asked. 

''I cannot tell you this, ma'am.'' The doctor holds his clipboard so tight. They turned to Max to ask him who was driving, and Max felt like he was obligated to tell them who is the cause of their children demise, but the doctor told them to let the police notify the parents. 

''MAX!'' Ryan's mother shouted his name. 

''It was Michael.'' He hesitated.

''My son is dead because of that deadbeat.'' Ryan's mother is so angry now while the father fell down to his knees knowing something like this would bound to happen. Hope's parents went outside to talk and deal with what is needed to be done since now their child is gone. 

I know this is a sad chapter, but things happen in life anyways.
